Hello snowboarders! JG here at Ski Essentials in Stowe, Vermont and today I'm talking about
some of the Rossignol boards that we had in our on snow test last spring and today I'm talking
about the Revenant from Rossignol. This is a directional shaped board that is flat based
meaning it's not rockered and it's not cambered. You can see how much compact area is on the table
right here and it's flat to rocker out at your tip and tail. This is a directional shaped board,
no taper, slightly setback stance, comes in a variety of sizes just like almost all boards do
now. Normal waist width and wide waist width for bigger boot sizes. It uses a kind of a tricky,
not a tricky side cut but it uses traditional radial side cut and some reverse side cut and
you can see this right in the middle of the board that's right where it's happening and that's
something that you know you use a lot the middle of the board to pivot around a lot on like spins
and there's a point of contact here that is like right in the middle of your turn, a little bit
more grippy. Evan and Max rode this board and gave it an overall rating of an eight. Those are some
of our testers. Justin gave it an overall rating of a nine, thought it was super surfy. The other
guys thought a really good intermediate board to advance, all-mountain style board that has a lot
of pop and so yeah it's a good looking board. Rossignol has been making snowboards for a long
long time and yeah you can kind of see the shape of the board. It's kind of like you know it's got
a nice shape to it, base looks pretty good and yeah so I didn't get a chance to ride this one
but after reading some of those reviews from some of our testers and guys that I know and how they
ride you know eights and nines it really doesn't get much better than that. So if you're looking
for a board like this, please take a look at it. Give us a call if you have any questions
and we'll be happy to answer them. Rossignol Revenant. Check it out.
