What's In My Baseball Bag? FT. Davidson College Commit Will Brooks a Catcher In The Class Of 2024

I'm will Brooks 2024 catcher um I play at metrine of Christian Academy and during the summer I play for the dirt bags and this is what's in my baseball [Music] bag for January's giveaway I am giving to use the A2000 from Wilson if if you look at it you they're the exact same type of glove um this one's just a little bit more used and uh I really like this glove because of I really like the pocket and um I really feel like I can stick pitches with it um and help out help out the pictures and um I've never used another glove ever since I started catching um I've had to get the exact same type so that's that's my gloves underneath the glove I use a Team Defender um glove to protect my thumb on inside pitches and give a little bit more protection when you catch guys throwing mid to Upper 90s and um guys with bangers of curve balls um so I really like to use this to protect my thumb all right the next thing is my infield SL Outfield glove kind of a utility glove it's a Dustin padro fit so I um it's a little bit um thinner of a pocket I got a little bit more feel with it um it's a 11 and 3/4 so it's kind of it's a little bit big for the infield and a little bit small for the Outfield so I can kind of use it um I can use it for both uh if I'm not catching I'll usually play third base or or the corners or somewhere in the Outfield so it's just a really good utility glove it's also Wilson this is my first base glove for whenever I'm not catching it's also Wilson A2000 it's a 12 1/2 um so if I if I ever need to rest my leg and I can go stand over at first base and and um it's it's pretty it's really good for picking base balls and it's got a pretty big pocket so it really helps these are my Oakley sunglasses I really like the the color of the lens I think it looks pretty dope um I like how the lenses don't have the um little um case thing at the bottom I wear these if it's too sunny behind the plate whenever I go to hit um I just think they look really drippy so this is my chest protector for my gear it's it's Allstar I really like Allstar I think it's super comfortable and and flexible I can move and and I can I can breathe with it on I feel like I'm I feel like I'm not even wearing gear when I have it on I feel like it's just me moving and whenever you block balls you don't even you don't feel a thing so it's it's really really good I I like the flexibility this is one of my shin guards that I wear um for the gear it's uh it's it's Allstar and it's it's super super flexible uh whenever I run or if I'm backing up a throw or blocking um it's got really good padding for whenever I block on um on my knees and um whenever I run it feels like I'm not even wearing gear it just feels like I'm just running like normal so um that's also All Star I really like that lastly for the catching gear I've got the the All-Star helmet um I'm not a big fan of of two pieces even though I think they look better I feel like uh I feel like the one piece just suits me better I feel like I can see better out of it and um whenever I take foul balls off the face I um I feel like it it's a little bit more supportive with that um I really like this helmet because um It just fits it fits my head really well I like the padding on the inside so all right um these are my turf shoes whenever I'm getting a workout in or um hitting in the cage uh I'll wear these turf shoes um I really like I really like the Adidas brand I wear Adidas for all my cleats I like how they I like how they feel on my feet um they're not too they don't scrunch my toes and they um they keep it keep it nice and light I feel like I can move pretty quick with them so these are my my turf shoes I'm also wearing Adidas um cleats they um the same thing I think that I can really move with them they're they don't um squish your toes kind of like football cleats do and um I really feel like I can run fast and move fast with them on make Quick Cuts with them on so yeah those are my Adidas shoes when I'm in the Box I'll wear a um a g for leg guard this thing if you get hit with this thing you can't even tell it's like hitting a brick wall um I wear it and it's it's it looks big but it's actually really light and um you don't even know that it's there um I would really recommend using G form um because you don't have to form it to your leg it just you just strap it on and and go all right this is my um G form armguard it same thing as the leg guard it's um it's very it's like you can't even feel it if you take one off the off the elbow it's you don't feel a thing I really like this because it makes me more comfortable um staying on pitches and um not bailing on pitches it helps helps me with my Approach with that and um whenever I run I don't feel I don't feel like it's holding me back and um yeah I really love this G4 Mard these are my batting gloves so I'm a little bit of an oddball when it comes to batting gloves whenever I hit I wear two pairs at the same time cuz I really like the the padding so first whenever I put them on I'll put on these um maruchis they're they're kind of like Bruce bolts but um with the way that they strap on um they they help with um keeping sweat from your hands um inside the glove and not um getting out so it's it makes the bat not slick so I'll wear these first and then for the grip I really like the I really like Franklin's and how they feel and um it really makes me feel like I can grip the bad and it's not going to fall swing out of my hands so I'll wear two at the same time cuz I like extra padding and yeah those are my Bing gloves this is my helmet um it's an EVO Shield helmet I just got it cuz I uh I just moved to the dirt bags at um national team and um I really like this helmet I like the I like the inside I I like the way it feels um on my ears it's pretty snug um I've taken one off the head with this before and I didn't feel a thing so I really like this helmet it's got a bunch of holes in it so it's not it's you can your head can breathe out of it so I really like this [Music] helmet this is my um bat whenever I hit I like to use a bomb bat because they are very very durable and when you hit the ball on The Sweet Spot It goes a long way um and a wood bats are expensive so um it's a pretty good investment if you break a lot of bats and um don't want to spend a whole lot of money and buying new bats every week after you break one so I'd say that if if you want looking for durability this is definitely the way to go this is this is my arm band that I wear um I'll usually switch these out but um I I'll wear this on my left wrist right here um it really helps blocking balls when you're catching um extra padding right there but it's not too heavy so it feels like whenever you're getting under the ball and sticking pitches um your arm isn't like pulling up 5 lb also I have this rope for pregame stretching um I've used this rope ever since I was 10 years old haven't um haven't lost it and it's it's treated me really well i' whenever I stretch um you can do a lot of different stretches with this rope and it helps with my hips and and legs for catching so I if I if you don't have one I'd recommend you get something like this or or bands and and help with your pregame stretching next I've got a Evo Shield lighting mitt I uh wear this whenever I'm whenever I get the chance to base run I know as a catcher a lot of times I'll I'll get a pinch Runner um but whenever whenever I'm dhing or playing another position I I'll get I'll wear this and um it helps with um sliding and not jamming your fingers whenever you slide into a base oh yeah this is um my Allstar bag I got it with with my gear it's um it's really good I like I like the um the duffel bag style better than the than rolling my bag around it's um it's not that big so you can you can fit it in tight spaces um it's it's it's very durable and um I've got all this gear and I can fit it all in just fine so it's treated me
