I want to share this with you. Let's make it!
Hello, Mama! I'm Kana. I try to make healthy Japanese baby food.
Today, we're gonna make rice porridge for fast-reward baby food.
My son is 6 months old. I just start to give him baby food.
So, rice porridge is first meal for him.
This is so beginning stage.
If I give him a lot of food, his stomach will be so surprised.
So, we're gonna make rice porridge super soft.
We call this rice porridge for Tenbaigayo in Japan.
Tenbaigayo is ten times in English.
I explain my ingredients first. You might understand better.
Calculate is so simple.
You just need these cups and uncooked rice for 15 milliliters.
You need water 10 times of rice.
You need to get 500 milliliters.
You can use any short grain rice.
I'm using Japanese rice today.
Let's rinse the rice in water first.
You rinse the rice, then drain like this.
Rinse, rinse and drain until water became clear.
I think three times rinse and drain, then water will be clear.
So, you add water like this again.
Let's soak the rice for 30 minutes.
So, 30 minutes later, we're gonna drain the water first.
Put the rice in the clay pot.
You can use any clay pot.
I'm gonna add 500 milliliters of water in the clay pot.
Let's go to the stove.
Cover the clay pot.
Turn on high heat.
Bring to a boil over high heat.
Rice is boiling.
You see the steam from the hob.
So, right now, you need to make lower heat.
It's very hot, so open the lid very gently.
You mix with a small spoon.
Any spoon is okay.
But make sure the rice is not stuck in the pot.
Then cover it again.
Keep the lowest heat and boil the rice for 40 minutes.
Sometimes you need to make sure rice is stuck on the bottom in the pot.
And then mix it and then cover again.
After 40 minutes, rice is done.
It's so soft.
Then turn off the heat.
So, rice is done.
Let's begin pureeing.
I'm gonna use this blender for the pureeing.
After blender, make sure all grain is pureed.
It's so smooth and no grain.
It's completely okay.
But if you need more water, you can add hot water as you need.
Just pour the rice pot on the bowl.
And then let it cool down.
Do you want to eat?
How about you?
How about?
Is it good?
It's good?
And Jazzy.
Good.
Is it good?
It's good, right?
Is it good?
It's good.
You say, Oishi. It's good.
So, today we made the rice porridge.
This is for Japanese fast baby food.
It's the best baby food for your baby.
It's rice and just water.
So, when we are sick, we eat the porridge in Japan.
So, it's no taste, no salt, and just rice and water.
So, it's very sweet for the stomach.
