My hair is fluffy today.
Hi! Oh, milk.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, I must say, I've only had it since January,
and it's like, my favorite thing in the world.
Like, I love how it drives.
Oh, fun.
Yay! We tried the Wrangler, and all.
Okay, it's awful.
Thank you!
Thank you, you too.
Okay, let's park for two seconds and get myself together.
Mmm, that's pretty good.
Okay!
Back here, I put a new bag in, so it's all road trip ready.
My parents put a bunch of stuff in my car, like food, and then I have my bag.
In the trunk, I have a guitar, I have books, I have journals,
I have a whole thing of colored markers, I have a Polaroid, I have a scrap.
I brought so much stuff.
So, hello.
My family and I are going on a little two-day getaway to the beach.
I've been to the beach a lot this year.
So, we're going to Galveston, and we're staying at a little house.
And my whole family, except my two oldest siblings, are going to be there,
which is very rare.
And my sister's boyfriend, who literally has been to now New York,
and then the 10-hour drive to the Panhandle he's been at.
So, he's a real one, sticking through with our family vacations.
Luke's, which is the boyfriend, younger sister is going, who I'm obsessed with.
She's, like, six, seven.
She's so cute.
So, it's going to be a really fun time.
And I'm using this time to really work on, like, planning, thinking about my future.
I want to learn some more guitar, because I have a guitar.
I'm just really bad at it.
Maybe I'll do some songwriting.
I'm going to get some tanning in.
It's going to be very productive, even though it's, like, vacation.
I'm riding completely on my own.
The drive is about two hours from here.
Let's do it.
I also brought a crumble cookie.
I've never had crumble, but they were in my house, so I was like, okay.
Mmm, good.
Okay, you know what?
The shoes are off.
Do you know what's literally tragic for me?
In my last vlog, I took my friend from California Grace to Buc-ee's.
And I was like, oh my gosh, Buc-ee's is only in Texas.
It's just a Texas thing.
We're so cool.
Buc-ee's is this great gas station that only we have.
And then pretty much most of the comments were like, uh, there's one in my state.
There's one in my state.
There's Buc-ee's everywhere.
Huh?
Hello?
Since when?
In my mind growing up, Buc-ee's was only in Texas.
Is it a recent thing?
It's in, like, I saw Arizona, Florida, Louisiana.
Like, I'm so offended.
And it is so sad because I was flexing so hard.
Okay, we have, like, an hour left.
I've literally just been listening to music.
I've been on so many road trips this year that I'm like, I have a- I have a routine down.
Like, I went on a road trip to Florida that was ten hours.
I road tripped Panhandle in Texas.
That was about nine hours.
That one was the worst because the drive had nothing.
So it was like, if we were ever low on gas, it was like panic.
It was just- that was a stressful drive.
But Florida was fine because I wasn't actually driving.
I was just in the road.
I've done Austin a few times, which is a really short drive.
It's only like two and a half hours.
And I've done Galveston a few times.
So, I have a whole routine.
I get in the car, do a little bit of Taylor Swift, a little bit of hype music,
and then I listen to Harry Potter on Audible.
So.
Oh my gosh, I have to pee so bad.
Okay.
Oh man.
It wasn't her, said Hermione.
She looked very nervous.
Ah, it's starting to rain really bad.
This is so weird.
Oh, is it stopping?
What the heck?
The men room.
Oh, nice.
How was yours dry?
I saw you poking your hand out.
I was trying to get a pillow.
I know, then finally you got it and I was like, woo!
Alright, this is my room.
This is where I put all my stuff.
I have two sinks for different days.
So, in the morning I'll use this sink.
In the evening I'll use this sink.
And then I have a shower and a bathtub.
Do shampoo in this bathtub.
And then conditioner in the shower.
Ooh, storage.
So, this is where y'all are staying?
I'm not, no.
No?
No, we're in the other men room.
Oh, the other one?
This doesn't have Jack Sparrow.
Okay.
Oh my gosh, there's another one.
Here, look.
Holy moly.
Jack Sparrow.
Amazing.
Also, these are all mine now.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, cute.
Look at all the coffee stuff.
There's so much options.
There's French press.
Crubs.
I've never heard of that.
A Keurig.
And a pot.
And they filled these up.
That's so cute.
Wow.
They made it!
And Laura's here too.
Hello.
I'm so excited.
I'm excited to see you.
I haven't seen you in a long time.
A long time.
Okay, so this is the bunk bedroom.
Where am I going to sleep?
I don't remember.
Probably not in here because the boys are in here.
Do you want to sleep on the bunk bed?
I have a sleeping bag.
You have a sleeping bag?
You want to sleep on the ground?
Okay, good.
Wait, what is that on your arm?
I drilled myself.
Crazy.
Hi.
Okay, we're playing sorry.
Natural!
Natural.
Yay!
You just spit everywhere.
Yeah, I know.
I saw that.
Max, you really...
You said we can share.
Fit.
Duh.
So cute.
Okay, let's see it.
Okay, do you want it on your face?
Come closer.
You can put it here.
It should feel like that.
Okay, on the shoulders, a little bit on your face.
Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
You're silly.
I'm silly.
Okay, I think your legs will be okay because it's not too sunny outside.
I straight up just went into someone else's house.
He was the one closest to the...
And in my mind, we were closest to walking to the beach.
What are you doing in here?
And then she was like, I'm so sorry.
I think you're in the wrong house.
And I was like...
It was really embarrassing.
But anyways, it's about 5 o'clock.
I'm going to journal because I'm an aesthetic granola girl.
We've officially taken beach swimsuit pictures.
So, cross that off the bucket list.
Now, I'm starting the bath just to get all the gunk, grossness, beach water off of me.
I kind of want to do it cold.
Love this.
Okay, we'll do that later.
Normally, when they're telling you how to do this song, they'll have a section where it's just the strumming.
A little bit different than our G because we're not going to want to strum this top string here.
We have officially finished dinner.
We are going to the grocery store.
I want cream for coffee for tomorrow.
I also want breakfast.
And then the kiddos want ice cream.
I put Kate to bed.
I feel like a mother.
She's all tucked in.
Bye, bestie.
Bye, queen.
Bye, besties.
Bye, queen and slay the day, besties.
This is so bougie.
Laura was asking me to get specific almond milk, raspberries covered in chocolate.
And I was like, I don't think they're going to have that here.
Last time I went to the gas station, they gave me expired milk.
Mom, do you think they have my vegan yogurt here?
Shoot.
I want Coco Puffs.
But are we going to be able to get milk?
Oh my gosh.
The iconic salsa bowls that like every family has.
Oh, oh, coffee.
Oh, we have to try these.
For Mark Adam.
Apparently my brother doesn't like chocolate.
This is news to me.
We'll just get double stuff.
Okay, well this is all I need.
I'm just kidding.
I love how this is literally called a grocery store, but it's a gas station just without gas.
Okay, so they don't have the fancy yogurt, but they have pizza flip flops.
Okay, they don't have what we came here for, but they have jumbo eraser.
When you remember you have your crumble cookie in the car.
Okay, ice cream taste test.
Oreo.
This thing, this doesn't expire until February 2023.
And it's dairy.
That's disgusting.
No.
No?
Let me try.
Kind of bad.
Why, do you not like it?
No, I like it.
I'm just putting it out.
I am in my giant master bathroom.
I'm getting ready for bed.
I've never looked cooler.
The swag.
Is that from Target?
The glasses?
Yes, and I got this from the Target clearance.
Actually, I got these from Walmart.
I learned this on the guitar today from a YouTube tutorial.
When it's out of tune.
Hold on, let me tune it.
