you
what up it's Tony from rest repos and
I'm gonna show you guys my rank so right
now I'm playing bass I was also thinking
Aras this band till recently
we lost our bassist side with the bass
move Jared to guitar he's much better
guitarist and we found a drummer is also
much better so this is all good but I'll
start with Jared droid cuz this is my
old rig this is all belongs to me so
it's a Mesa rectifier to 12 cap and then
inside the rack
what we have is further our conditioner
pretty basic this is a Mesa subway d800
this is actually the bass amp that I'm
using right now so this is separate from
everything else this I just house this
in here because it's a lot easier than
having something on top of my own amp
it's more convenient to help share the
load and stuff like that so the da it is
just a super dynamic amp it's got a ton
of crushing mid-range it just sounds
awesome and it's a tone that
I've been unable to achieve from any
other base camp so far but my mind is
open I'm down here at some malicious but
so far that's that's the one that I've
played with a little bit of um I tested
a couple of and this was the one that
stuck and this is two notes digital load
box so basically what that does is we
can capture the signal from the amp and
instead of actually miking the cabs we
never Mike our caps if we can help but
we always go direct in so the amp goes
into this and then this has an XLR out
then we feed that to our sound board
that you saw and then feed that to the
front of the house so we don't mic the
cab's the cabs are going to direct
I guess the heads are going direct into
the PC so we don't really need to mic
these these are just for stage volume we
actually don't need to bring these if we
don't want to but something that you can
keep up with that so that's what the two
notes is really special form you can
create your own impulses dalam and for
whatever room down there forever amp
it's great it's really the best
way to go this is a drawer so I keep all
my goodies bass strings a lot of like
cleaning and string changing stuff my
picks a backup wireless backup cables
for my power thing ear plugs which Jared
and I both didn't use tonight for some
reason it's pretty rare we know use
earplugs but I was one of those feeling
feeling the crowd so does it the crowds
big you want to hear them you know like
here I'm singing and the ear plugs
in I could really get myself let alone
the crowds
I think we're just like it no
you're playing tonight it's really
really bad don't do that this is a Mesa
triple crown 50 this is the newest model
in their lineup right now so they make a
triple crown 15 they just leased the 100
but that's a 50 for almost a year and so
instead of here going on buying all this
new figured you just use mine it
sounds it sounds good so I mean
it maintain the same integrity of our
tone you know we didn't really want to
talk too much we had changed everything
so this way we can we maintain our tonal
integrity and it's a lot easier
transition for him so this is a Mesa
Boogie powerhouse traditional it's eight
10s it's like a ton of bricks
sounds rad feels cool too and
your mood wind yeah it's pretty basic
just regular basic a but you just speak
on instead of like a quarter inch tap a
lot of bass cabs you speak on because it
empowers too much it'll blow the jack
out so this is our Wireless we sure are
you sure anyway Jared East as sure as
well voodoo labs pedal power this is an
MX extra Marquis all my pedals rmx ours
the Dunlop hooks it up pretty phat with
us this Marquis it's just a noise gate
it cuts down on the frequencies I don't
want a bass compressor I still don't
know what compressors do but I'm told I
need one so that's what I have it
apparently what it does stops like if
I'm hitting in consistently too hard or
too soft that compressor compensates for
like the two hard hits the bass
overdrive I just figured I just
discovered tonight that that's I'm
taking that off the board so I'm not
happy with the way it sounds and it's
hard of stuff really really really well
but that's one of the pedals that from
them and I've just not been impressed
with so that's gonna come off the board
and I'll probably get something else by
mxr just as we love those guys and they
take super super good care of us this is
a TC Helicon voice live play I don't
really use this anymore that much I was
doing a little bit more of the bulk
responsibilities earlier on when I was
playing at arc and I just have decided
they're not super super necessary for me
to be part of so there's a partner in
retrospect where we did the big low lows
during the chorus and I used to have a
doubler in this so I kick it on and it
would put some reverb in like a doubler
on the voice so it would sound like
multiple voices saying that that whoa
whoa lines
that I don't use anymore but we kept it
on the board I'm actually good to you
know this is a this is a gear invaders
exclusive use this anymore
we just got this tour - we just picked
up these lights cheveux DJ 2 meters you
did awesome they're super
lightweight they're not crazy expensive
they're about 600 bucks a mover I think
or 400 bucks a mover so that sounds
expensive but to a band with anybody
kind of budget that's looking to put
their money back into their show lights
are like the first thing you
need to do the it's just an easy
way to make your show I don't know
so she we don't like to move the liner
you're tired quickly it's really
distracting for the fans they don't pay
attention you must have to these strobes
one left and one right and then those
are all run from the computer as well
we're using qlc and little DMX unit it
sends all the mini to the to all lights
so all the lights are controlled with
like basically hit spacebar and all the
lights start to move and they're matched
for the song kind of like MIDI drums or
many keyboard something but instead it's
inside DMX signal to their lights this
is my baby
Ernie Ball stingray 24 it's pretty cool
I initially went all black one I like
the stealth black but Tim from Ernie
bolt gave that one - Josh from a day to
remember so I have this one I'm just
kidding I actually he sent me
this and I was like yo yes that's the
one because I don't know if you
can see but it has like a sparkle to it
and I really like the zebra wood and I
like the stain I really like the color
way I've been super super hyped on this
base
since I got it here and I are animal
artists as Fluffy's as well for Strings
liebe flowing the ball endorsements will
be only news Ernie ball so they hook it
up real big I used to use a five string
so it's the lowest one thirty and I
think I go to like 60 or something it's
put there pretty heavy I keep all of my
EQ at midnight so in these basses
there's actually like a as you turn it
there's like a little click you can feel
it like stop I keep them all right there
so they're basically it's zero it's all
I do all my dialing on a head and this
is the windup excuse me where's a
procedure on this it up this
divine up and I just pin that well so
that's my base man that's the one I use
you probably won't see any other bases
hopefully if you see another base that
means this one's broken sorry if you see
me playing another base come up and give
me your condolences and donate some
money to me so I can buy another one of
these bad boys expensive to replace oh
yeah man that's my rig thanks for
hanging out
you
