Hi snowboarders, JG here. I'm at Ski Essentials here in Vermont and today I'm talking about some
of the Arbor snowboards that we had in our 2024 on snow test last spring. Today I'm talking about
the Arbor Brian Agucci Pro model. This board comes in a variety of sizes from 153 up to 169 wide.
This happens to be the 58 wide model here. The wide models are generally geared for riders that
use boots like size 11 and up 12, 13, 14, 15. Obviously the longer lengths are for bigger
riders, heavier riders, and people who like riding longer boards. This board is a directional
shaped board, full camber. You can see the camber. Seems like it's got quite a bit of camber. I'm
going to depress it right there. Slight taper, two millimeters of taper in the tail, setback stance.
Originally Brian designed this board to ride powder with his kids in the trees in Jackson
Hole. He wanted something a little bit shorter, wider, a little bit more maneuverable to ride,
you know, not as steep a terrain in deep snow with his kids. It's a really good looking board,
unique shape, unique tail shape here, and nose shape as well. Arbor's been making boards for
28 years and they're really into using sustainable materials and practices. They
make a really solid board. We had one of our testers, Jamie, rode this board and he gave it
a scale of one to ten. He rated stability at a seven, playfulness at a five, but gave it an
overall rating of a six, which is pretty standard from a lot of the boards that we see that were in
our tests and a lot of testers, you know, six is a good rating for an overall for sure. So be sure
to look at all the specs, the waist widths, the lengths, match it up to your boot size, your
riding ability, and where you're going to be riding. And this could be your everyday board
for sure. I wouldn't say it's a full-on powder board because it doesn't have a lot of taper,
but it's just like could be an everyday board that can ride powder, I would say. So the Arbor
Brian Agucci Pro Model. Take a look and if you have any questions, give us a call here at Ski Essentials.
