(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights GRANADA - ATLÉTICO MADRID

Which has earned them a quarterfinal against Sevilla on Thursday. But tonight, attention returns to La Liga EA Sports. Saúl, time to measure the cross. And he finds Morata. He tried to stoop and steer it home. Didn't quite do so. Gerard Gumbau goes for goal. And couldn't quite trouble Oblak. Chance there. Lino. It is awkward. Morata with the chance. And Batalla was able to recover just for a moment. It looked as if they might let Atleti in there. Three years ago. Saúl, chested down for Morata. Here is Lino. Samuel Lino! And Batalla stood firm. Good save from the Argentine. Oblak can score. Griezmann to Morata! And there's the goal. It's been coming. It's been a wonderful start to the second half. Chances at both end. Atleti have come out of the blocks very fast indeed since Simeone spoke to them. Griezmann the provider. And Morata is at it again. Oh, and there's another chance. And there's another goal. This time the flag does go up. Once again, the deliveries finish lacking in conviction. Loose uncharacteristically from Antoine Griezmann. Here is Arreso, who has hit the target at least. Baal appeals for handball. There's the effort. Cleared away by Axel Witzel. And driven goalwards by Gonzalo Villar, who slumps to the turf in disappointment. One of the best chances of the night for Granada. And they couldn't take it. Pressure from Lino. He won it back. Correa for Griezmann! Back off the post. Correa denied! The flag's gone up. Looks as if it wouldn't have counted. Well, he's not been even checked. But... And now at the other end, Atleti look to find their second goal. Correa unselfish. Griezmann! Flag is up. Granada's frustrations. Flag is up. Gijon delivers. There is a chance. Arreso! Somehow Atleti survive. A combination of Oblak and... ...is claimed. ...around Granada's box. In the end, some chances were coming at both ends. In the second half, Atleti scored the goal. They had a couple more very good chances.
