(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Darmstadt - Frankfurt
Very adept in the air.
Headed clear by Tim Skarka.
Only as far as Götze, who tees up Kunkku.
It's a big save from Schur in early doors.
Left isolated.
They've worked it now.
Down the wings.
Kalaidze is looking for the one-two.
That's a lovely return pass.
Junior, Dina Ibimbe in behind.
2-0 for in the middle.
It's going to come to Kunkku in the Hesse derby.
And it's Eintracht Frankfurt in front.
Two young Frenchmen.
Combining again.
Kalaidze now.
And it's turned in by Knauf.
2-0 to Frankfurt.
They extend their lead early in the second half.
And their match winner from last weekend
is once again on the score sheet.
Ansgar Knauf.
A lovely ball to break the lines there.
And well taken by Skarka.
Franjic now out wide.
To Jusfan.
Lovely ball into Pfeiffer.
Big save by Kevin Trapp.
Steals them of all momentum.
Now, though, promising moment.
Nürnberger, Pfeiffer, Pfeiffer.
And Trapp can't keep the second attempt out.
And on his Darmstadt debut,
Julian Jusfan
has reduced the arrears.
Julian Jusfan's
goal
was Darmstadt's
first here on home soil
at the Merckxstadion am Bullenfeldtor in 467 minutes.
Oh, the foul given when advantage probably could have been played,
but Aurelio Buta.
Corner for Darmstadt.
Goes long.
Bounces dangerously.
Hollands there!
And he sends it over.
They want to hand ball in the mix somewhere.
His first appearance as an over 40 year old.
That prestigious moment will have to wait for now.
Kemper in behind.
Oh, what a chance!
They've got the equaliser!
Deep into injury time.
And it's Christoph Klarer, the centre-back,
up as a striker.
Who has sprung the surprise for Darmstadt.
It's all over.
The Hesse derby ends with the spoil shared
after a stunning two goal comeback
from Thorsten Lieberknecht, Darmstadt's side.
