Highlights: Fulham - Newcastle | Emirates FA Cup 2023/2024

Great start by Newcastle here. Isak from the Gordon Pass, still going, clear the way. He doesn't have a chance to counter. Oh that's sloppy, they could over-read. It comes in and Murphy! And the shot was straight at Roddick. A little bit rusty Murphy. First game in a long while after injury. It was gifted him but he didn't take it. Seifert should be with the call. It comes across a little bit of angle. Schaer, good save. Little flick on by Schaer. Smart goalkeeping, he had to react very very quickly and Fulham have given it away again. Here's Gordon. Tracked it wide. Fulham very nearly the orchestrators of their own downfall. Good save by Roddick but when they failed to get it away again Fulham gave Gordon a chance. Harrison Reid on his birthday. Here's Wilson. Little chance and very well executed and nearly taken as well. Smart skills here, the improvised shot by Munoz on the half turn. Wilson, now Robinson. Munoz! Good effort, just deflected off Botman I think and that was going in. This is a lovely turn by the youngster. Botman did just enough. Shabir with the cross in, Burns headed down. Newcastle league. Fulham are appealing for handball. Oh that's hit him from close range, that's not handball. VAR will check it. Swept in brilliantly by Longstaff. Goal given, Newcastle league. Isak. Gordon's on the outside. Isak. Smart goalkeeping. Didn't have to move too much to make the save but he's been sound tonight, Marek Roddick. Newcastle pressing for a second. Should be his corner. Botman free header, save in! That was offside. Loves this football. Loves getting the occasional goal. Relishes that one, Newcastle lead 2-0. Free header Botman, bad defending. Keep it good and hold it. Bang and it went. They could over read. It comes through to Willian, should be his head and away. From Robinson, Sillard sums up Fulham's night. They haven't had enough in either penalty area. Same shot, comfortable for the keeper. Toss it. Said so. That was their chance to get back in it. Rose so well but couldn't get over the ball and over it went. Here's Ream. Couldn't Fulham yet make a game of this as the minutes ticked down. Tete, looking at him and he's got something on it and wide it goes from Robinson who had to stretch. They can see another knockout cup competition drifting away. Knocked out of the Carabao Cup semi-finals in the week. They're heading out here now Fulham. They need a miracle. Wide it goes and Fulham are heading out. Newcastle through.
