welcome to a wallp purpose woman.com I'm
Elizabeth and today I'm going to show
you how to make these beautiful angel
heart ornaments and if you purchased a
kit you'll have everything you need to
get started if not then just follow
along with the video and I'll show you
exactly how to make this beautiful Trio
of angels now to get started I'm going
to take the pink yarn so if you have the
kit go ahead and start with your pink
yarn it doesn't really matter which
color you use but if you want to follow
along then grab the pink yarn and we are
going to to take a book that is 6 in in
length so you could use a piece of
cardboard or you could use um anything
really that's 6 in and that you can wrap
your yarn around and you're just going
to start wrapping the yarn and I
apologize for the camera being kind of
close here but just take the yarn and
wrap it 30 times around your 6 in book
or piece of cardboard or whatever you're
using so I'm just going to speed it up
here here quick and do it 30
times and I did a couple extra
Evolutions there but around 30 is a good
number to get a nice thick tassel and
then we're just going to cut off the
center of
those yarn strings and then cut off one
of the ends and just try to make those
ends a little more even then I'm going
to take my yarn and I'm going to select
about 24 in of the yarn and just cut
that off and this is going to be what we
use to hang our ornament so I'm going to
fold that 24 in and make a knot about 5
to 6 in down from the top of the yarn
and just knot it three or four times so
that that when we put the Angel's head
on or the bead it will stay um below the
portion that we're going to use to hang
the angel so I made about four or five
knots with my yarn and then an easy way
to feed this bead through your yarn is
just to grab a bobby pin and use that to
go through the center of your wooden
bead so just feed both ends of the yarn
through the bobby pin and then feed that
through the wooden bead and that makes
it super easy to attach the bead and
then this is going to be our Angel's
head now we have our bead in between two
knots we have about 5 to six inches to
hold the knot and we have two ends of
our yarn and we're just going to take
those two ends of the yarn and wrap it
around these 30 strands of yarn that we
have on the table right in the center of
that yarn we're going going to take the
ends and tie a
knot so again you're probably going to
have longer yarn than I did I had a cut
it off because I made a knot that wasn't
where it was supposed to be so once you
tie that knot then you will have a
tassel hanging down from your bead and
then you're going to take about 18 20 in
of a different piece of yarn and you're
going to wrap that
around your tassel about a half inch
from the top and you're going to start
by forming a knot and
just take both of the ends then and just
wrap so um you're probably going to have
two different ends so you're just going
to start wrapping one of those ends
around and then just continue doing it
however many times you can and then once
you've wrapped the yarn around the
tassel you're just going to tie off the
ends again so find both of your ends and
tie them
off now you have the base of your angel
and you're just going to take your
scissors trim off any uneven ends of the
yarn so that you have a nice even Edge
for your Angel's dress and then the last
step is going to be to attach her wings
and her heart for her bodice um if you
have the kit everything should be
included in there and you won't have to
do the next step which is just to stain
our hearts but we're going to just take
some antiquing wax and stain our hearts
um you could leave them with the raw
wood colored I thought the darker wood
added a little bit more variety and
variation to my angel so I just tinted
them with some antiquing wax and then
hot glued the front the heart to the
front of her body and then the gold
Angel golden angel wings to the back and
if you're looking for for these angel
wings they are also included in the kit
so you can just order the kit if you
want all the supplies included but
either way the last step is just to hot
glue our angel wings onto the back of
our Angel so whether you're making your
own or using wings like this from your
kit just go ahead and glue that on to
the body of your angel and that's pretty
much it to making these beautiful angel
ornaments you'll of course repeat these
steps for the other two Yarns that are
in your kit to make your beautiful treat
collection of heart angel ornaments I

day
