I mean, I'll defend.
I'm not gonna give up.

ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME?
People deluded, I'm back again.
Come on, Diego.
People deluded, I'm back again.
Unfortunately, it's February, the first new month.
New blessings to you lot tuned in.
I say unfortunately because Arsenal have signed
a grand total of nobody. I mean, our women's team have made some signings. In terms of
outgoings, it's primarily focused on the permanent transfer of Lino Sosa, and obviously a couple
of young players have been recalled from loan and gone elsewhere. But where I was concerned
in terms of signings, the very thing I wanted to avoid, you know, I knew it wasn't going
to be a strike or a winger. Relatively hopeful of a central midfielder, but kind of pessimistic.
I did think at least one defensive reinforcement in some capacity would arrive. And again,
I guess there's still time in the day to get things done. But where I was concerned, what
we've got is what we've got. As Mikel Arteta says, it's his job to find internal solutions
and maximise his existing players. And that's what he's going to have to do from now till May
in an attempt to salvage what is left of the Premier League. And if Arsenal are in that title
race and the Champions League is a whole nother entity in itself. Don't forget to smash the like
button and things. As I said, new month, new blessings. Let's see for the final time this
month. What actually concerns our football club? Arsenal working on triple deadline day deal as
Lino Sosa heads to Aston Villa. I mean, it's a bit of a bit of a clickbaity one, I guess, because,
you know, Charles Sago Jr. allegedly is of interest to Swansea. You know, it'd be a good
move for him to go and get some minutes in the Championship and link up with a fellow
haylender in Charlie Paterno. Bradley Ibrahim has joined her for Berlin and we wish them all
the best as they make the next steps in their careers. Allegedly, Lino Sosa is expected to
complete a move to Aston Villa on deadline day. He's due to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal
and he will also head on loan to the Championship and join Plymouth for Argyle people.
Apparently, he's one of a number of academy players who could leave the Gunners either
permanently or on loan before deadline day. I mean, I know Coles of Dewberry and Waters,
obviously, they're kind of, it's a bit of a political thing, in my opinion, because they've
got contracts on the table. But if I was them two, especially with, jumping ahead, Cedric
is saying, if I'm a defender, a young defender, I'm going to get some minutes elsewhere. If I'm
Coles of Dewberry, I'm trying to angle for a loan move because, you know, it's one thing not
flooding in young defenders. Young attackers surely in fear it should be easy or at least
make your debut. So I'm not criticising the manager. I'm just, if I'm them two, I'm being
very selfish and looking after my career. And I'm probably going to run down my contract and not be
in a rush to sign a new deal really. It would be nice if we were a bit more proactive in that
Big up Sego Jr because he is one player who has, under Mikel Arteta, made his debut. As you know,
he played against Brentford people in the Cat Yarabaugh Cup in September. Again, he'll be
linking up with Charlie Paterno for Swansea. Bradley Ibrahim, you know, actually was on the
bench against Burnley, I believe, in the Premier League. And yeah, he's departing the club.
Apparently two academy players who shouldn't be leaving Arsenal today are Mario Coles of Dewberry
and Waters. Like Solskjaer, they have six months on their contract, but Arsenal want them to stay.
So if there's six months left, the club might have sat there in Solskjaer's case and said,
you know what, you might have potential and things like that. Whether it's pennies or pounds,
we're trying to get some money in due to FFP. We've obviously got Zinchenko. Kyrgios can play
there. Timber went fit. Tommy Yasuo and I'm probably missing out and left back. They probably
said, you know what, let's keep it moving, even though it would have been nice to keep him.
You just never know. We've been linked with Marcus Rashford. Now, Rashford's always linked
with Arsenal, PSG and other clubs. Anytime there's something off the field where Manchester United
and him are concerned. I like Rashford. I like him as a person. I like what he does off the field.
I think he's a decent player. But I don't think it makes sense for Arsenal, purely because, again,
we've got to be wary of saying people got attitude problems or incidences. But he does love, you know,
this season there's been a number of incidental issues, really. The latest being in Belfast.
Arteta's not going to want that. He's going to want top, top wages. You know, if I'm him,
I'm looking at what Kai Havert gets at Arsenal and saying, I want something on parity.
And we're not going to get a return on our development. Obviously, he'd give us another
option on the left-hand side. He's relatively, you know, mid-age in his prime, you know,
can play in a couple of positions, but finds himself on the left-hand side. I just don't
think it makes sense in theory. You know, United are going to want an important fee.
He's going to want big wages. It's not my money. I don't care. But there's not going to be a return
on investment. And you just don't think Marcus Rashford, obviously he's a very good player,
can score some finishes, has had some strong goal-scoring returns. But for me, I don't think
his footballing IQ has significantly developed. I think he's quite wasteful. I think he's a bit of
a project in itself. And we've already got that. We've taken an expensive gamble with Kai Havert.
You know, if none of these things mattered, I'm having Marcus Rashford. But I don't think
it makes sense, especially if we're going to make big, big investments. Obviously,
he's an England international. He's a Premier League household name. There's marketability
there. And if Arteta can get a tune out of him, it's great. But there's too much volatility.
But for what it's worth, Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Marcus Rashford's situation at
Manchester United ahead of a potential move in the summer, sources have told Football Insider.
If we're going to make a big-money addition, it has to be up front. Rashford technically can play
up front, but he finds himself on the left-hand side, really and truly, because he does strike
you as a bit of a one-trick pony. Whether he has a lot of goals in the Premier League or none,
you don't get the sense that his footballing IQ has improved dramatically. So it is what it is.
And to be honest with you, Man United probably are trying to think about a future without Marcus
Rashford, in my opinion, as much as I believe they wanted to stay. But if you're Jadon Sancho
who's gone to Dortmund, if you're Marcus Rashford, if you're any player that's been alienated under
Eric ten Haag, is it a guarantee that this time next year he'll be Manchester United manager?
I'm not saying yes. I'm not saying no. For what it's worth, though, the Gunners had been interested
in a move for the England international two years ago, with Football Insider revealing they had set
aside £45 million to sign him in the summer of 2022. It's believed they could reignite their
interest in Rashford following fresh doubts over his future at Old Trafford. Ten Haag's side would
demand a fee well above, apologies, £45 million that Arsenal maybe could have paid in 2022. As
you know, he's been fined two weeks' wages after the whole other stuff he's doing, really.
He's a left winger. He can play on the right, but he's a bit one-dimensional. Up front,
I don't think his footballing IQ is there to be playing up front, even though he's got the
physical qualities to play there. And he finds himself on the left-hand side. He always turns
up against Arsenal. I wouldn't be against it. It's not the best signing, worst signing we can
make, but it's not necessarily the best. In terms of departures, Omer Ekic, who you know was at Wigan
Athletic for the first half of the season, returned to Arsenal Football Club and he's headed to
Switzerland to play for Sevette on loan for the rest of the season, people. He made 14 appearances
for Wigan in this time, kept six clean sheets and was part of seven victories. So, yeah.
Marquinhos, apparently one minute is Corinthians, then it's Fluminense. Apparently he's close to
joining on loan with an option to buy. So, it's fair to say Marquinhos didn't work.
Now, Lokonga seems to be making positive inroads at Luton after his injury scares. I don't know if
he'll make it at Arsenal, but I'd say the biggest thing with Lokonga, it has been a lack of confidence.
So, hopefully he can get that. I'm sure you all saw the assist against Brighton. You'd imagine
Jorginho, El Nene, Partey, one to all three of them could leave. Could Lokonga be an internal
solution or could we just hope that he performs for Luton? They stay in the division and he's
either sold there permanently or he's put himself in the shop window to depart. It's an important
season for him. I don't think he goes off to the Euros with Belgium, but to have any chance,
you've got to keep putting in performances and he's still only 24. Romano has said,
Lokonga is starting to impress a lot in his loan spot at Luton and my understanding is that
Arsenal believe they made the right choice with this move. It hasn't always been easy for Lokonga
since moving to England as he struggled in the Arsenal first team and also failed to make much
of an impact in a previous loan spot palace. Still, it's been seen as a smart one by Edu,
who wanted Lokonga to stay in the Premier League and play on a regular basis. In the summer,
Arsenal reassessed the situation before making a decision. Now they just want him to focus on
the second half of the season at Luton, rightly so. But, you know, Lokonga, Tavares, don't like
putting him in the same bracket, but Chiarantini, speculation over these guys' futures will remain
and won't go anytime soon. Not going to bother reading this to you lot because we've heard it
a lot. As you know, Arsenal are in talks to get Tommy Yasu and Benjamin White new deals.
Apparently, Arsenal are very optimistic about agreeing deals for both. Once again,
Bradley Ibrahim has joined Hertha Berlin on a permanent transfer. We wish the 19-year-old
the best of luck for his future. Arsenal have been linked with West Ham target and FC Leuchland
attacker Ibrahim Osman. I don't really buy this. I mean, he can play out wide as well as up front.
He's in his early, you know, he's a young man, 19, approaching his early 20s. It makes sense
but all we've heard is FFP issues and whatnot. And obviously, we tie into what we're doing with
the young players and whatnot, but it doesn't make sense. Romano also said Arsenal are focused
on looking to bring in a full-back during the January transfer window despite their lack of
activity in the market so far. But at the moment, there's nothing really convincing from the club,
so it's fair to say that we're not bringing in anyone. Romano has also confirmed that Swansea
have agreed a deal to sign Charles Sago Jr. on loan until the end of the season,
and we hope he's able to have a great loan spell towards what Charlie Paterno's doing.
I'm a big fan of Chiesa. You know, he's being linked with a move away from Juventus if he
doesn't sign a new deal. I mean, you'd imagine Vlahovic, in fact, the same language is around
Vlahovic, so you'd probably see Arsenal-Vlahovic rumours. I'm having Chiesa. There's no need for
me to really have that here with you lot. Smash the like button if you haven't. We all know that
and we know a host of clubs in England and abroad are looking at the individual people,
so make of that what you will. The best news, I'm lying. The worst is apparently,
for all the talk about Galatasaray, Besiktas, this club, that club and the other,
Cedric Suarez will stay at Arsenal until his contract expires this summer,
says Chris Wheatley. Several Turkish teams showed interest in the January window,
but a move evidently didn't come to anything. Ryan Chirky, again, his form and his consistency
are a bit up and down and I think that's why he finds himself in this situation,
but Fulham are set to sign him for €35 million. I think he'd be a great option to have in our
attacking ranks, so if we could find some pennies, let's get that done. For me, it's very
disappointing that we've got no reinforcements. I would have loved a striker or a winger. We know
these are typically summer additions. I do think we need to bring in a central midfielder. It has
not happened. Defensively, when Tommy Assu is back, obviously in timber, we've got decent
options there, but as you see in closing out games against Nottingham Forest, as good as
Nchenko played in that game, you sign up for certain things. I did think one versatile attack
defender would arrive. It hasn't. As I said, Arteta's got to find internal solutions. He's
got to maximise the squad. In an ideal world, not a single Premier League manager or any manager
wants to move in January. They would have done the business in the summer, but we all know
January is a by-product of obviously players not happy about first team football, contract stuff,
lack of playing time, obviously not doing what you need to do in the summer, etc, etc.
So yeah, let me know your thoughts on how you're feeling about Arsenal moving forward. Do you think
we're in the right to make no sign-ins if we can't find quality? Do you think we need to find
someone regardless? How do you feel about the players that have been recalled or the players
on loan? Because in the summer, we're going to have to deal with Marquinhos. Obviously,
you've got Chirutini over there. You've got Tavares. Lokonga's doing all right at Luton,
but I don't know if they'll stay in the division, let alone pay whatever Arsenal's asking for.
So yeah, people, let me know your thoughts on everything. I think we've discussed,
most importantly, new month, new blessings. I hope you lot are doing well and safe. And I
hope this month is great to you and your loved ones. And I hope that you lot remain in great
health. If you haven't liked the video or hit the subscribe button, then what are you doing?
Make sure you leave a comment. And yeah, God bless you all, man. Peace.
