(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights RCD MALLORCA - REAL BETIS

...didn't work out quite how they ought to, but it was to Majorca's advantage. They have gone through to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, where they will face Real Sociedad. Real Betis previously... ...advantage, but there were a couple of late goals. Here's Larin, he tries to strike. He was looking to lift that over the goalkeeper. ...with all of the departures. ...these wholesale changes. Here's a low strike, which tests Raikovic. He has to push the ball out. Very dangerous as well for Betis. The ball comes in, the header down is nearly met at the back. Lata takes on Bellerin, makes some space for himself, tries to feed his teammate. It's off the crossbar. There's the follow-up, and it's into the stands at Saint-Moch. Sergi Darber rushing in. And this will be his 15th league game of the season. Gio Gonzalez pulls that back. It's taken on by Dada. Dada's shot is blocked. And it's out for a set-piece from... ...Molanis. Gio Gonzalez is making a diagonal run. Instead, it's a shot over the top. But Gio Gonzalez had even backed up in order to make that... ...has got it again. Altamira! It's found its way in. The goalkeeper got a touch on him. But it was not enough. As Altamira scores for Real Betis. In stoppage time at the end of the first half. A powerful strike from the midfielder. Who's entrusted with a big task in the centre of the midfield. Claps. Marici is applauded on. Again, Mallorca reset. They've not been able to capitalise on any of these breaks. It's a left-footed shot on here. Too much lift on it. As it flies over the top. Dani Rodriguez. Headed towards the back post. Headed over. Dani Rodriguez. Had to cut that one in. It's come for Lato. Lato with one touch to control. Puts it onto his right foot. Tries to bend that into the top corner. Pedat Marici saying to his teammates. Lift your heads up. Try and find me in the centre. To the area. A ball headed on. It's headed just wide. Abdom Prats. Unable to work his magic. From the outskirts of the six-yard box. Mallorca remain five points above the relegation zone. With Cadiz, Sevilla and Celta Vigo still to play on matchday 22. Unable to transform.
