Cricut SECRETS We’ve Been DYING To Tell You!!

getting a cricket can be intimidating there's so many products out there that you never know do you really need or not in today's video we're going to walk you through the things you need to buy and we're going to let you know about the things that you could skip or share with you an alternative to save you the most money and get the most for your machine if you're brand new around here my name's recommend for you to skip the reason is the builtin ability for you to not have to cut with a mat actually hurts you more than it helps you it's way more affordable to use a Cricut mat and get something like the Cricut permanent vinyl which Cuts great then the Cricut smart vinyl when you're using Cricut smart vinyl you were actually just cutting with the backer and it cuts straight through your maker 3 or Explorer 3 machine but here's the thing it's harder to weed it's more expensive and it's not near as easy than using regular vinyl which is more affordable and a Cricut mat so we recommend you to skip it and just go ahead and get regular permanent vinyl from Cricut or Starcraft or other brand instead of going for smart vinyl thinking it's going to be easier to cut without a mat there's so many different Cricket tools out there that you could purchase but I want to share with you the three that are must haves for cricet Crafters starting with the true control knife this right here is one of my favorite tools crickets ever invented even including the machine this is a craft knife like never before they've thought about so many different things with this knife that previous ones had never considered like changing the blade without having to touch it making sure it doesn't roll off the table and having a really sharp blade every single time I love this and I use it for every single Cricut project next up we love the cricket weeding tools there's some really great Cricut weeding tools that you can pick up especially when they're on sale for a great price we like to have a couple of these on hand because they do tend to sometimes dull out and different things like that and then our last cricket tool that is a must is the Cricut Brer for some reason we have fell in love with the Cricut Breer to apply vinyl onto mats help us burnish in new ways and so much more I think you'll really enjoy the cricet Breer and you'll be like us using it way more than you ever expected no need to be purchasing Cricut mats that is something we're going definitely leave on the table but what we do recommend is upgrading yourself to getting a nicapa mat from Amazon those Matts are super affordable every single day you don't have to wait for them to go on sale and they have just as great adhesive comparable to your Cricut mats I literally use them interchangeably and I never can tell a difference but if you're wanting the best everyday price definitely go for the nicapa mats I'll link them right down below there's a lot of different alternatives to using Cricut pins but something we highly recommend buying is the actual Cricut pin we find it harder for you to work with other brands like Crayola or off Brands compared to working with just the Cricut brand pins they're worth the investment and they'll last you probably the entire lifespan of your Cricket as long as you take great care of them and put the lids on them and keep them stored flat the cricet paper trimmer is definitely something we pass on we actually recommend a fisers paper trimmer or just a nicer one we found that this is very economical and very inexpensive but as you become a better crafter you're going to start noticing that it could be you know a hair off you know the it's not going line up as well the line the cut lines are not as straight as some of the other paper trimmers for just a little bit more of an investment you're going to get a lot better return in the long run let's talk about the Cricut hat press this is something that we truly have found to not be a necessity the reason why is that there's other presses out there that can do do what this is intended for you to do without having to spend another over $100 into a new press if you're someone that's only making hats that might make sense for you but I'll have another alternative for you here coming up another one of crickets products that we actually recommend you to pass on is the Cricut mug press and the reason why is we've found that we prefer using a convection oven and shrink wrap in replace of using these types of presses when they first came out we were a big fan once we found the convection oven that is a lot cheaper you can do more tumblers at one time and it takes a lot less time there's kind of no reason to keep this in our craft room so I highly recommend if you're just getting started with sublimation if you're wanting to use infusible ink and so much more just consider getting an $80 convection oven from Walmart the mini easy press is something we try to talk every single Cricket user are into having if you're a beginner put away all the other heat presses on your wish list start with this one right here there is not a project too small or too large that this mini easy press cannot do I actually would prefer to use a mini easy press over the Hat press if I was go make a hat decal and put it onto a hat today I would go for the mini easy press before pulling out the Hat press which is why for such a great deal this is very versatile it's going to help you time and time again it doesn't take up a lot of space so if you're a CR crafter without a craft room this is going to be a no-brainer for you even if you want to make big sweatshirts I think this little guy can still handle it you would think the 6x7 easy press the 9 by9 easy press or the 9 by2 easy press or 10 X12 easy press would be a great addition for your craft room but let me tell you you will not use it near as much as you think We have replaced all of those practically with this one mini easy press so we even recommend passing on some of these other ones that work really well but again we just find ourselves gravitating to the mini easy press here at Maker's going to learn we have not even purchased a Cricut Auto press because we can't justify the price is such a solid investment instead what we have went for is this HTV rot Auto press it's a lot more affordable you can get close to the same results and it's it's still an amazing quality press so if you're considering an auto press of any sorts I want to put you on to the HTV Ron one because it is less than 1/4 of the price of a Cricut Auto press so we're leaving the auto press and we're saying yes to the uh HTV rot Auto press here's the secrets Cricket would never want you to know in today's video we're breaking down everything you need to know about Cricut espe especially the things that they would not want you to know about some of their services or products and we're going to break it all down in that people are always shocked about is that you don't actually need Cricut access now props to Cricut because they make it seem like you must have cricet access to use a Cricut Machine and there's other machines and software out there that that is true but with cricet it is actually not true what I mean by this is you do not have to have Cricut access to use Cricut design space I want you to start looking at these two things as separate entities many of our makers going to learn members once they join actually cancel Cricut access because they find that they're making makers going to learn projects using makers going to learn fonts and so much more so you do not need to pay for makers going to learn and create access because you really just may decide that you only need makers going to learn if you love the Cricut access images fonts and projects that is awesome that is what Cricut access is for as well as they give I think a discount if you shop cricut.com so that is some real big perks of Cricut access and why they have so many members but if you find yourself not using their images or not shopping from cricut.com things like that you're probably not going to find it as valuable many of us think that you have to have access though to use design space notice that design space is free with your machine so you're not actually having to pay for it to use the functions of upload and cut files basic shapes working with files fonts sizing and all the different things you can do inside of design space there are a few few unique things like a background remover buil in for Access members and just a few other things but here at the channel we teach you how to do that for free as well for most of those hacks next up is something that I actually didn't even know for many years when I first got a Cricut I only used Cricut brand supplies tools and material but guess what you don't have to only use Cricut brand supplies of material and I would even go further to say that some other brands are actually actually better I found better material than just Cricut vinyl like Starcraft or I found better tools like the pin pin tool that are not Cricut brand but they work better than some of the tools that cricet have created so I want to encourage you especially if you're a cricket beginner to not just look at Cricket only there are other options out there and as Cricket has grew other companies have been able to develop amazing supplies tools different things like that to support your Cricket Journey for a better price better quality and so much more I want to encourage you to look outside of just Cricut brand when you're looking to master your Cricket most people do not know this but did you know you can actually try out Cricut design space before you even purchase a machine you can go ahead and get the software with our membership and master the software before your machine even comes maybe you're waiting for a Black Friday deal a great discount a gift things like that people learn their machine because you can create an account for free learn the software and then by the time you get the machine you've already mastered the software I think that's something people do not do enough and it helps set you apart and get a head start on mastering that machine of yours another thing that they will not tell you is that criced access is exactly what the name is as soon as you cancel you lose access it's just like Netflix so if you have used some of their art pieces anything like that and you cancel you'll no longer be able to cut that design with it and different things like that so you really want to be careful and understand it is very much like Netflix you cancel you lose access whereas our maker going to learn membership any cut file you download while you're a member you get forever we're one of the few memberships that you will actually have something to show for if for some reason you need to to leave the membership for your you know maybe your crafting changed maybe you don't have as much time to dedicate or you just need to Simply take a break did you know that anyone can do the Cricut beta software so if you're wanting to stay up to dat if you're wanting to try out new features before they're available to everyone you can actually put your Cricut into beta um for free like it's super simple anyone can turn on beta on this back end of their software to be able to try out new functions new things as they are kind of working through them the cool thing is you can turn that off too so if something is glitching you just simply turn it off and it's just as easy as you turned it on last but not least you can actually make a lot of money with your Cricut Machine people do not talk about it enough but there is so much money to be able to be made thanks to your Cricut Machine so if you haven't went ahead and started to sell your projects what are you waiting for have
