It's a great time to be an Arsenal fan. Following our 6-0 victory against West Ham,
we defeated Burnley 5-0 people. But Kyle Sack has gone back to basics with his hairstyle in
the last couple of weeks and he's getting better and better. 12 goals and 7 assists,
please don't talk on my staveway. You know, again, we ran riot. Plenty of goals and assists
shared out between the boys. We've arrested our issues. It was total domination. We had 16 shots,
7 on target and 5 goals beaten. In our last five games, you know, we've given up 1.7 expected goals.
Apparently, we're giving the lowest average xG in the Premier League, you know, for the statistics.
We're the only team with 100% record currently in 2024 in the Premier League. In our last two games,
as I said, complete domination. 11 goals scored, 0 conceded, 1 shot allowed on target and 37 shots
beaten. Against Burnley, we had 6 shots on target and scored 5 of those. So, we're finding that
cutting edge in the final third once again. Big up Declan Rice for being involved in the pre-build-up
play. Martinelli owes us a couple of goals, but he set up Martin Odegaard, the class
Ouijan. What a player he is, people. And he drew praise from Mikel Arteta after the game. Let's be
honest, for a while now, even before our form kind of took a turn for the better, Odegaard has been
cooking. It's nice to see the captain is finally getting his fare lauded. And again, it's a long
way to go before he's mentioned in several conversations with several Arsenal players.
But he is a top, top quality player with the potential, in my opinion, to be world-class.
And he is the closest thing we have to Ozil, Santi Cazorla or Cesc Fabregas in terms of being
majestic. You know, since 2022-23, most goals and assists, he's got 33. And he's actually taken this
season off in that regard, kind of. We know he's operating slightly deeper. In fact, he has now
been directly involved in 32 goals, 20 goals and 12 assists in the Premier League. Only six players
generally in this period can lay claim to Odegaard. What a player. And you can see why Mikel Arteta
made him the captain. And against Burnley, he was in fine form for chances, assists, distance and
passes in the final third. From one great left-footed player to another, for Kai Osaka, the star boy,
the boy wonder people. How dare they compare their wingers to him, right? 32 goals, 52 games,
15 goals and 13 assists delivering. And it seems like he's gone back to basics and found his goal
scoring touch. They compared him to Anthony Kulishevsky, Dicko Palmer, this guy, that guy in
the third. And they're good players, but none of them are talking to Bakaio Saka. They always move
the goalpost when it comes to our star boy. Maybe he wouldn't have scored a penalty if the goalpost
could move. And it was lovely to see him get a brace in as many weeks. You know, the hat-trick
is coming. Big up Odegaard for setting him up. What a finish it was. You know, Saka doesn't use
his right peg often, but when he does, it's top, top quality. The man's amazing. And the fact that
he came from Hay Lent, from our academy and cost nothing is scary, people. He has now scored more
Premier League goals than any other player this year with his six goals in five games. And you
look at what he's done for the last few seasons, people, in terms of goals and assists, and he's
only getting better and better. The fact that he's 22 is scary. He can't deal with the labels
and expectations placed on his shoulder, but so far he has put into bed any claims that this man
is not a quality player. 22 and we've barely even scratched the surface, people. And again,
no coincidence, our attackers have found their goal and assist boots and we're back, you know.
Kai Havertz even joined in in the party, people, you know. Shout out to Kai Havertz. Big up Kyrgios
as well, who also had a good game and had involvement. Maybe Bukayo Saka should tell
his teammate Kai Havertz to shoot with his right peg even more. I couldn't believe he'd not make
the Burnley lad and scored with his weaker peg. You know, maybe our fortunes really are changing
at Arsenal Football Club. And again, that's what you want to see, really. The most important thing
is three points and, you know, getting results on the board. We're doing what needs to be done.
Trosser, who I felt could have had a couple in the Burnley game, you know, managed to get on
the score sheet as well. I've always described him as the best finisher at the club. He now has
scored four goals in his last five Premier League matches, people. As I said, any coincidences,
our attackers have found their goal scoring boots and we're back. In the Premier League so far this
season, from 25 games played, we have 17 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses, people. We've scored 58 goals,
which is the second most in the Premier League. We've conceded 22 goals, which is the fewest in
the Premier League. And we've currently got the best goal difference in the Premier League of
plus 36. It just shows you that if we can marry this with a bit more and taking our game in all
aspects to higher levels, if we could marry more strength and options in terms of depth,
and obviously Pep Guardiola could follow Jurgen Klopp out of the Premier League,
we might be set for some certified trophies at this football club. As I said, it's great,
you know, since the winter break, we've beat Palace, beaten Nottingham Forest, Liverpool,
West Ham and Burnley. Long may it continue. We've got Porto to come. As you know, on Saturday,
we're playing Newcastle. Let's just keep it going. It's as simple as that. We sit second
in the Premier League. I don't look at the league table, that's what the report says.
So yeah, big up you lot for tuning in and making it to this part of the video. Don't forget to
comment your own thoughts on the game or anything, Castle, as well as smashing the like button and
all of those good things. Now, for me, simply put, there was 15 points on the table with the
five games we played, obviously, in the Premier League. And to take 15 from 15 available points
from these five games, what can you say? It doesn't matter how you do it. All that matters
now is points on the board as we're into that sort of business end of the season. I'm happy
to see this turnaround. And do I think Arsenal are going to win the Premier League? I don't.
Unfortunately, you've got the big, bad bullies in Manchester City, currently Liverpool are top
of the tree, whatever people have to say. They have two losses this season, so almost third in
a three-horse race. But what we can do is control the controllables. And what I mean by that is, A,
winning games. And one does imagine, wow, there's many twists and turns, bumps and bruises. And
I think one good thing that has generally been the case this season, and obviously,
in these last five games, highlighted in the last two against Berlin-West Ham,
is injuries and thin depth. When Mikel Arteta says we need to be a team that scores 100 goals,
we're scoring the goals to show that that can be done. But could we do with reinforcements,
which isn't here? When he says we've got one of the thinnest squads, can you afford to have that?
Where a team like Manchester City, with their wealth and strength and depth and a generational
culture in Mikel Arteta's big homie Pep Guardiola, I'm not sure. But what you can do is control
your controllables, which is winning games, putting in the best performances, beating teams
that are in poor form, which take nothing away from what we did. It shows our ruthlessness
without necessarily our strongest squad. Berlin's form has been on the floor this season. West Ham,
when we played them the last time they actually won, was against us at the Emirates,
a bit of revenge there. So we've been winning the games. If we can marry how we play against
the top six, where we could have done better against Spurs and Chelsea, with winning games
that we need to win, which should have been Aston Villa regardless of their form, Newcastle away
regardless of their form, definitely West Ham at the Emirates. The two games against Fulham,
home in a way, big up Fulham for taking four points of us, kind of shows us that at times we
make it harder for ourselves. And that's what I mean. It's them kind of things. If we can eradicate
those things from our game and just get even more points on the board, where you've got City and
Liverpool, everything counts, that's great. Us winning the game at the weekend, there's not going
to be too many times a team like Manchester City, as you lot know, are going to drop points this
season. And I won't go as far as to say the Chelsea boys did us a favour, but you are at that stage
where you want City to lose and if they can't lose, draw. You know, City, everybody knows they're
going to keep going. So when you take points, you leave it up for discussion. I think it's a big
art, you know, it's a big art. I personally don't feel there's too many times this season we can
drop points. I feel this is the most pivotal point in our season. We might look back at December and
say that's where things were won and lost. But I personally feel against Newcastle, Brentford,
you know, we've got Chelsea and there's probably a couple of other games, Sheffield United away.
We need to take maximum points going into the City game at the Etihad, where it'd be great to come
away with three points. Last time we did that, Sante Cazorla and Francis Cochrane were our
midfield partnership. If you can't win, don't lose. I do think we're into that scenario where
it comes to fighting for a league title that is a bit out of our hands. I do think we've given
ourselves a lot to do. But, you know, we have kind of changed the sentiment around our club,
you know, from August towards that, you know, the end of the year where it kind of went sour,
we was ticking along, we was in the conversation. Then it became all doom and gloom, we're out of
it, blah, blah, blah. And I'm not saying we in or aren't out of a title race and things,
but with five wins out of five and in the fashion we've done it against West Ham and Burnley,
the narrative starts to change. Fans become a bit more optimistic and crucially Mikel Arteta
and the boys. As I said, I don't think we can win the league, but all we've got to play for
is the champs, which I'm more optimistic on winning the Premier League than the champs.
So that tells you everything. We only have those two competitions. Let's put our best foot forward
and give it a real fight, forgive ourselves for what's gone wrong, pat ourselves on the back for
what we did well and just keep going. Like Arsene Wenger said, the past brings regret, the future
brings uncertainty. There is no time like the present and that's all we can do. Of course,
it's lovely to see, you know, us playing well and whatnot, goals being shared around showing
the collective quality of our attackers. Imagine me marrying a striker and even without Gabriel
Zeus, not that he's prolific in front of goal, you know, we've shown we can score goals. Obviously,
players that are bit part or players that fans aren't universally sold or convinced on
are doing what they can and playing well and generally we're doing all right.
I hope the celebration police are okay with Mikel Arteta's performance in the last two games
because he's barely even celebrated any of the goals really. You know, we all know our manager,
you know, if he celebrates, he's overexcited. If he doesn't celebrate, he's lacking passion,
you know, then all the connotations that are connected with Arsenal Football Club
aren't necessarily the same consistencies with clubs all around the league really and truly.
Just look at Jurgen Klopp celebrating after beating Burnley, take nothing away because you
should be able to do these things. But it is what it is. On that note though, please let me know
