Johnny Lightning 2005 Ford GT - #55 from 2006 Release

hey everyone in today's video we're going to be looking at this Johnny Lightning 2005 Ford GT this was released in 2006 and it comes with plastic Wheels which roll super smoothly which I'll show you a better a better demonstration of later on really nice Classic paint you know that blue and the white racing stripes going across we got some engine detail here really happy I got this it's an older casting like I say from 2006 that's nearly what 18 years now but um you know still holds up really really well and for those who are collectors of diecast I don't see I don't really see a lot of paint rash like you might get with a kosho or um Tomica uh it's looking you know as fresh as it was when it was released so it's lasted really really well which I like so there we go if you're into diecast take a look at this all the packaging from Johnny Lightning we've got the same logo here got this muscle cars USA this style is quite old bonus we got the window cling which is just here and I'll show you that soon got a few notes here just diecast metal body and Chassis authentic factory colors great so it matches the real car and detailed engine and interior so there we go and it's great that we've got the licensed product here on the back it says here adult supervision required using a hobby knife cut along list but I'm going to just completely just yeah put this in the bin after I don't keep packages once I open them and I don't care about collecting them in packages okay look at this old school marketing copy leading the pack once again the fastest growing creator of collectible dcos models introduces the Innovative resalable package the first of its kind in the collectible Market and we've got collect all four in release 10 it's got the Ford GT Ford Mustang GT Buick GN and the Pontiac GT oh so there we go we got some information I quite like all the stuff about the brand and I wish that the other ones would do it too um I've got the website here as well but yeah Johnny Lightning getting into these more and more now with Auto World part of the round two company and it's good to see real wheel series exclusive license it's good to see all this stuff here so um let's get this opened let's get a good look at this Johnny Lightning up close so this is looking really slick really nice um got these five spoke shiny chrome wheels here let's see how well it spin it still spins considerable oh that's really smooth so the back wheel it it is bigger than the front wheel but the way it spins really slick and smooth um and plastic should go this should go really well on a track I mean it is an older model I think it's in 2006 of the 2005 Ford GT so guess that's what uh 18 years old at this point it's holding up really well uh looks really nice some people I think complain that it looks a bit squished here like the proportion should be a bit uh higher I guess but I think overall the shape is really nicely done um and let's have a look at this in detail so from the front we've got here um painted headlights and you can see there's a red spot and a silver spot here got the Ford logo at the front and we got this white racing stripe across this um I wouldn't say dark blue but it's heading that way kind of like strong medium blue not quite Navy I think but um it depends what light is and then we've also got here uh you know the front the lower section of the front it's a bit of texture but I have to zoom in on that really really fine okay and then the stripe goes all the way down here looking back love that shape really really nice uh and then from the side got indicator light here U got some further details so we got this other stripe going across the body on the side got the fuel I think right there got these really cool like the Contours of the hoods like these vents over here uh and yeah just see these like wheel arches this rear one's really nicely done and on the side part here we've got this Contour really nice refle reflecting the real vehicle uh and then going around to the back we' got painted headlights [Music] again Ford GT license plate not bad at all and again this racing stripe this time on this Grill area here and in the back we do get to see through the plastic back wind screen um parts of the engine there maybe like part of a cage there so yeah pretty pretty cool detail as well I love that silhouette super nice uh I've got a Ford GT 40 uh by Auto World and I have got a 2017 Ford GT by Mini GT so maybe in the future on my Instagram I'll take a picture of those together I haven't reviewed the Mini GT one yet but that's on my list of things to do so yeah and then on the base look at that pretty plain um Johnny lightning part of the playing mantis group but no longer it's part of round two now with Alo World under the same umbrella and is that Johnny yeah rc2 Johnny lightning and these wheels as well as we saw on the packaging they're like real Wheels with like a copyright and trademark so yeah super super nice okay that's just your class Classic Ford in the blue and the White Stripes lovely superb model right here can really appreciate all the details and just the design of the body workor it just looks super cool it's got features of the old the GT40 but it's also modernized it looks great really smooth roller as well really smooth so let me know what you think in the comments below um
