Rep. Dent speaks in support of I-2113. The citizen initiative would roll back restrictions on when police can engage in vehicle pursuits, restoring the “reasonable suspicion” standard.

Den thank you Mr
Speaker I grew up in somewhat of a
troubled
childhood and the folks that gave me
more help than anybody was our local law
enforcement as I've gone through life
I've made a lot of friends in law
enforcement and come to have tremendous
amount of respect for them as my good
friend from the 24th is one of those
understand their
challenges and since I've U joined this
body I've made it a point to do as many
ride alongs as I can with County
departments City departments State
Patrol and the last couple years I
worked closely with the aviation
division of the state
patrol which is a New
Perspective but these people
serve because they heart have a heart
for
service and they care about us the
citizens and if there's one thing I've
heard in the last couple of
years from these
friends please give us our tools back
