Highlights: Freiburg - West Ham | Round Of 16 | Europa League 23/24

Here come Freiburg, now this is lifted forward, and an opportunity for a shot that's driven straight at the goalkeeper Fabianski, who makes a relatively comfortable save. I think that's Manuel Gould who's burst forward and got that shot away, and Fabianski actually dealt with it quite comfortably. Mohamed Kudus is running at the edge of the Freiburg penalty area, he's into the box now, they're queuing up for it, Bowen brings it down and shoots it at the ground, couldn't control it as he wanted, and he looks distressed at having failed to find the target. That was Kudus' best moment, facing players on the edge of the box, and what has Jared Bowen managed then? Freiburg are coming forward down the left, Weishaupt running at the edge of the penalty area, thinks about crossing, then plays it down the channel, cut back to the edge of the box, here's Salah, he shoots and it's touched into the net by Grzegorz, the substitute, and Freiburg are in front with 10 minutes to go. West Ham gave it away on the halfway line and they have been punished ruthlessly, the shot from Salah took a deflection and it dropped to Grzegorz, who touches in the opening goal. Sent back into the mix once more, oh has that struck a hand? It's going to drop, is it to Bowen? It might come for Mavropanos who volleys it into the stratosphere, and they might check a handball, or has he stopped the game? Are they going to check that for handball in the 5th minute of stoppage time? There will be a discussion about who's taking this, and now the referee's been called over, it's taken them 3 minutes. It's either handball or it isn't. I really don't know, I've never seen this before, a handball. No penalty after all that? No, he's not given it. Wait, well he's got a blowgun and it's all over.
