“Act 2: Cowboy Carter” will be the Grammy-winning musician’s first album influenced entirely by country music.
Back now with Beyoncé fans buckling up for the release of her new album, it drops at midnight tonight.
Alex Perez is here with what we need to know about collaborations from Dolly to Willie Nelson
and the news overnight that fans are already buzzing about. Great to have you in the studio here with us.
You know, all you have to tell me is that we're talking Beyoncé and I'm right here inside the room, guys.
Good morning to you. That's right, tonight is the night to lay your cards on down, down, down.
At midnight, Beyoncé is releasing her much-anticipated new album, Act 2, Cowboy Carter.
This will be her first album influenced entirely by country music.
She's teasing possible collaborations with country superstars Willie Nelson, Linda Martel, and of course, the one and only Dolly Parton.
The 32-time Grammy winner broke the internet when she dropped the album's lean singles during the Super Bowl,
the reflective 16 carriages, and of course, the song that makes you want to get up and two-step, Texas Hold'em.
But that's not all for the Beehive to look forward to.
Stay tuned for a potential partnership with Uber, who check this out,
perfectly teased with Got Some News alongside this galloping horse in three emojis, guys, featuring a crown, a bee, and a cowboy.
Okay, so, okay, it's obvious you're a member of the Beehive, it's very obvious.
But what does all this mean? What do you think?
Well, that's a very good question. We have some clues, but could that mean that it's time to park your Lexus,
throw your keys up, and Uber your way to a new Beyoncé world tour coming this summer?
Well, we're going to find out more at two o'clock today, guys.
I'm still on cloud nine from the Renaissance tour, so I'm not sure I'm ready.
I need to, like, reset and do this all over again if we're going to have another summer of great concerts.
We've got to have you in the studio more.
We're talking Beyoncé, I'm here, bring me in.
We're singing commercial breaks, you're actually singing it.
Thank you so much, Alex. Really great to see you.
