So before the test, I just reviewed all my reading passages.
Fortunately, I didn't face any adversity or troubles during the test.
And besides, the speaking examiner was very friendly to me as well.
Hello, can you introduce yourself?
My name is Hoang Nga Thien Tam.
I studied at Hoang Du Trinh High School in Da Nang.
I passed the IELTS exam and got a score of 7.0.
Which class did you study in?
I studied in 4 classes.
3 IELTS, IELTS 1, IELTS 2 and IELTS B.
Now, let's share with the audience about your experience in the IELTS exam.
So how did you prepare before the test?
So before the test, I didn't try to learn more and more knowledge
or study more vocabularies.
I just reviewed all my reading passages I had done
or read again all of my essays I had written.
And for the speaking, I did one or two mock tests with my fellow friends
just to warm up before the test.
How did you feel during the test?
At first, I was a little bit nervous.
But I was so fast, easily.
Cameras fell down.
So I could stay focused for the test.
And one thing I want to remind all of my friends who are about to take the test.
Don't forget, the night before the test,
remember to sleep early to stay alert in the next morning
and have a proper breakfast too.
I agree.
How did you face any difficulties during the test?
Fortunately, I didn't face any adversity or troubles during the test
because the facilities like computers or keyboards were very modern.
And besides, the speaking examiner was very friendly to me as well.
He didn't hardly interrupt me at all.
So I was really motivated to complete my speaking test.
Okay.
In terms of your listening and reading skills,
I can see that you have a high level of listening and reading.
Now, can you share with us your experience of listening and reading?
Before I started to study abroad,
I only tried to study the topic.
So I was very weak in these two skills.
But after studying abroad,
I have improved a lot in terms of reading, listening and reading.
Especially in English, which I can speak very well.
So what about your writing and speaking skills?
For speaking, I think we should pay more attention on our pronunciation as well as the intonation.
Because I've seen many of my friends,
they only pay attention to the vocabulary or the grammar.
But for the writing,
I think the only way to improve our writing skills
is to read as much as possible some sample essays
and try to pick out vocabularies as well as sentences structures
to apply on our own essays.
There are two methods in your school,
which are the six-step learning method and the self-learning method.
How do you feel about these two methods?
I think these two methods are very helpful
when I am taught how to use them.
Because the way I learn and listen
makes me better at memorizing words and listening
compared to the skills I have now.
Especially the six-step learning method
helps me memorize a lot of words
or gives me a lot of experience.
Now that you have an IELTS and a very high score,
what are your plans for the future?
My plan is to go to school after completing my master's degree in Vietnam.
So studying abroad is a big advantage for me.
So the last question,
do you have any tips or advice you want to give to the audience
who are probably learning the IELTS exam or preparing for the exam?
So for all my friends and people who are about to take the IELTS test,
you should remember that IELTS is not as easy as you think.
You should pay more attention and effort
to achieve your personal aim score.
And most importantly, if you have a chance,
you should take the computer-based test instead of the paper-based
because the result will be given quickly
after only three or five days
and it will be much easier for you to do the right test.
Thank you very much for joining us today.
Thank you.
