So what is your purpose here? What am I doing? That's actually encouraging other girls together. Like am I inspiring anyone on my actions on tour inspiring? Doing these rising tide events at each tour stop really showed me just how many young girls there are and how much they love surfing I remember being a young girl and hanging out with my heroes and just Soaking in every single sentence that they said and learning so much from them girls. We're gonna get a group photo with everyone Today we did a little bit of yoga a bit of stretching and and now we're gonna paddle out with all the girls And there's actually some fun waves It's a really fun program because the girls get a lot out of it and and you know It's beneficial for not only the girls but for us too. Shortboard, why are you riding that board? That's so weird and I got excited about this challenge Can you go out there and make it happen on a board that you don't really know how to surf, right? It's just a challenge. This is fun It's a game the things that make you comfortable strip it all back and see if you can still perform Stephanie Gilmore really came to see how she performs without a world title in the back of her mind Will she have that motivation to go after the event title here? Maybe she'll just let me on the wall free My gosh I Was a great win I felt awesome that was definitely sweet revenge there against Caroline But I wanted to be Carissa the newly crowned champ She's driving and pumping and look at that sensitivity of the board under feet So responsive the minute the ankles and the feet styles that stands there and gets to enjoy it Finding a piece or calmness when you're surfing it's it's an amazing feeling It's just this almost meditative experience such an incredible sense of gratefulness and When you have that whilst you're competing it lets things kind of go your way Oh Beautiful opening maneuver and another searing forehand turn Drives up into that first section. I loved it You know, I didn't win the world title but it's still like an enjoyable year, it's still an enjoyable time to be on tour and Being around the events being around the girls surfing great waves That was really special amazing end to the year Masters if it is on my only motivations is trying in the top five and to do that I'll find you know, at least a quarters or semis Thank you, I came back home This is like the offseason time every world surfing champion that ever came from Australia has spent a chunk of their life here So many wonderful changes within our sport within the last few years. This is an amazing time finishing the year with a win I really want to get the top five whatever it takes to get the top five Locked in deep. Is he still rolling through this one?
