Hey, how good a pros you think
Katelyn Clark and Angel Reese would be in the WNBA?
I think that it'd be easier for Katelyn
than it would be for Angel. Angel doesn't
have, he plays hard, he doesn't
have a skill yet. Right? If you look at her in
them games and she tries to make layups, she don't
have the fundamentals. She'd be out of control.
She plays like a girl.
She's going to need to develop
a go-to move and a secondary move
within the next 30 days to be some type of effective offensively
in the W. Just being a big body, she'll be fine.
She's going to be more of like a rebounder type.
Early, you know, try to play defense. Rebounding her before
she can really start demanding that ball. Katelyn, she's a guard.
Right? You know, have them big girls out there come pick and roll.
She'd run around. Remember, she can shoot the
ball fast. You know, like Steph, shooters
like that, no one is like, you watch MMA and you
watch boxing.
Defense is more like MMA style.
They play defense with their hands down.
They're like this. They're playing like this.
By the time she shoots and releases, let me just put my goddamn backpack on.
They play defense like this.
Well, by the time she takes that shot, you're
reacting late. Right? That's MMA.
Boxers usually keep their hands up. Defense is the
MMA of basketball. They want to guard for the
crossover. You know, that's where their hands are. So, she
coming down and then deciding to pull is always going to be
a late reaction to her shot. So, she's going
to get her shot off. That's not going to be the issue. People who can
shoot, they're going to find a way especially like her **** is always loaded.
So, I think she's going to be fine and then if I'm the fever,
my offense is designed just for her.
I'm going to have a whole bunch of Draymond Greens in this ****.
Set, picks, give it to her, rolls, re-give it to her.
30 shots a game. We just said that. 30 a game.
The fans are going to be there to see her.
Yeah, she doubled the ticket price. I don't give a **** about the people that's in here. I can trade y'all.
No, I'm serious.
It's business though. It's business. It's a business.
Y'all was here no matter how good y'all were.
They didn't come to see you. The thought of her doubled the prices
which means the game, our style is for
her. Yup. So, whoever she don't like,
y'all are getting the **** out of here.
First one. Hey, first player to look her off.
Get the **** out of here.
But what I'm saying is we're not even setting the tone.
Okay, this is a true story. Y'all remember that clip where it's going
viral a little bit where Kobe Shaq said
he did something to Kobe one time and the FBI
was after him. Yeah, I remember. I seen that.
It wasn't the real FBI, right?
It was the upper manager. Yeah, what happened is
something happened where he pranked Kobe. Kobe didn't like him.
Right? This is Kobe as a rookie.
And Kobe didn't like it. And Kobe was like, hey, I don't
want to play with him. Can y'all trade me? That freaked them the **** out.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Relax, Kobe. Relax. The **** who
air-balling, the **** who's coming off the bench,
everybody had to go to sit down with Shaq and say, hold on. You cannot touch
him. You cannot do nothing to him. We don't even want you talking to him
like that because they already knew he was the future.
He was basically, he was protected from the first
day he got there. Why you think they got rid of Eddie Jones? Eddie Jones is an all-star.
Hey, we're going to have to move you out. He's almost ready.
He's almost ready to take on this role.
That's how it is. I don't have room if I'm fever
to have these girls not liking
my future. It's my future. And that'll be the
conversation from the beginning. Hey, this is her team. Whoever don't like it,
let me know where you don't want to go so I can send you there.
And to be honest here, the WNBA can't miss this
opportunity though. They got to capitalize because they dropped the ball on a lot
of the good players that they could have pushed, elevated the league
in the past. So, they got to take advantage of the Caitlin Clark situation.
If they don't, I think the league will be over with.
They don't know how to take advantage of it because
they still think that we
should watch them for their talent.
As long as they still think, watch us for our
talent, they're going to always be exactly where they are
because the male audience, we have a certain way
that we want to see things. If we think you're sexy, we're going to watch
just because you're sexy. If you don't want us to watch for that,
then we won't watch. I'm sorry.
As long as you're sexy, you can miss 15 layups in a row.
We don't care.
If you want us to evaluate you for your talent,
you're missing 15 layups. Get the **** on off the court.
Get your sorry ass off the court.
I got to get into this little event.
It was nice talking to y'all boys.
