thank you Mr Speaker uh we had some linemen with us here today and it's a pleasure to honor them uh from Louisville Gas and Electric Travis Garrison from Kentucky Utilities Mike White from Duke Energy Ryan Lewis Billy Bird Eric Brockman and from Kentucky Power Levi Howard and Johnny Lawson and Mr Speaker I wanted to take a moment for this body to express our deepest appreciation for the vital work they do as utility linemen their dedication and bravery and ensuring the UN uninterrupted flow of electricity to our homes and businesses does not go unnoticed every day linemen around our great Commonwealth face challenging conditions and risks to keep our communities powered and safe whether it's battling adverse weather working at Great Heights or responding to emergencies their commitment to Excellence shines through their hard work not only lights up our lives but also serves as a Beacon of Hope during a time of Crisis their Swift response and restoring power after storms and other disruptions is nothing short of heroic and it speaks volumes about their professionalism professionalism and compassion please know that your efforts are deeply valued and appreciated by all of us who rely on the service you provide your dedication to your craft inspires us all and we are grateful for the sacrifices you make to keep our lights on and our lives running smoothly Mr Speaker I ask the body honor the linemen across our great Commonwealth today with a round of applause about
