When a ball's coming at you at 130 miles an hour,
you better be efficient, you better have good technique,
and you better know what you're doing.
My goal for you is to make this game
as simple and efficient as it can be.
I've been working hard, I've been doing everything right,
and I was just kind of staying at the same level,
and within three months,
ended up winning seven matches in a row,
and my UTR went from a 12.5 to a 13.6,
which is a crazy jump.
When you see the pros do this,
a lot of times it's so quick, you might not pick it up.
In the end, the backhand's the hardest shot to learn,
but the forehand's the hardest shot to master.
I really wanted to do this course
because I really think I have very different experiences
that I would love to share.
He's got a great turn, which involves the hip,
he's got great shoulders, he's got the whole body involved.
He's gonna have maximum power, maximum spin.
And I think my journey is very different
than other people's journey.
Peter Smith has been the head coach for 16 years now,
and over the last nine years, has won five national titles.
I mean, this is an unprecedented run.
Clearly, he's the best coach in American college tennis.
Good players are steady, they're one-dimensional,
they make the opponent miss.
Great players take the game to the opponent
by coming to net, cutting off balls,
and putting pressure on people to make decisions
that they don't necessarily wanna make.
You have to have the right technique
to be able to break that bad habit,
to propel yourself forward.
You have a lot of tools in your chest.
Develop those tools, use those tools,
and then go win with those tools.
