In the 10th century, the Chinese road began to weaken. It was these political changes that made it possible for the people to stand up and win independence after more than 1,000 years of captivity.
Following the success of the two initiatives of the Confucius Institute and the Art School, Ngo Quyen led to the famous Battle of Bac Nang Giang in 1938, realizing the dream of independence for the lives of the Vietnamese.
In today's video, we will learn about Ngo Quyen, who ended 1,000 years of captivity and regained sovereignty for the Vietnamese.
The Vietnamese are good at the Vietnamese, they are the king of the Vietnamese.
According to the Ngo family, the former Ngo Vuong Ngo Quyen was born on March 12, 897 AD.
Some other documents record that he was born in the year of the rabbit, 898, in a wealthy family with a strong position in Chau Duong Lam.
This is Cam Lam village, Duong Lam commune, Western Hanoi province, a village rich in tradition of patriotism and has a lot of contributions to the history of the people in the battle against the King of the North.
According to the entire document recorded, Ngo Quyen was born into a family of nobles.
His father was Ngo Man, who once held the position of Chau Moc, Ban Chau, Duong Lam, and was favored by the local people.
His mother was Phung Thi Tinh Phong, Phung Hai's daughter, the granddaughter of King Phung Hung's father, who once rose up against the rule of the Duong family in 791 AD.
Born in a rural village, always full of fighting spirit, the family of both sides of the foreign side are those who have worked with the water, with the people.
From an early age, Ngo Quyen had the qualities of a southern emperor.
According to the entire document, when he was young, there was a strange light shining in the house, shining all over the place, pulling to the end.
His father thought it was strange, invited the general to come.
Instead of a judge, with a different look, there were three buttons on the back of the crown, which could be used as a crown.
His father heard it, so he named the child Ngo Quyen.
When Ngo Quyen lived in the countryside with his parents, with his father's education,
he soon learned about martial arts, the use of swords, as well as the secrets of the art of war.
When he grew up, Ngo Quyen seemed to be out of the woods, bright as a candle,
walking calmly like a tiger, with wisdom, the ability to raise the flag of the East.
Ngo Quyen's time grew up when the ruling system of the court was on the verge of collapse.
In the Central Plains, the status of the nobles who did not obey the Thien-Trieu, from the rebellion of An-Su, 755 to 763, to this stage, has reached a climax.
The road kings proved to be incompetent and could not stabilize the national order.
In the peak of the year 907, Chu Toan-Trung dispatched the king of the Aide-Dieu-Nguoi road,
the road of death, the beginning of the era of the Great Depression.
In parallel with the weakness of the central government, it is the fact that the feudal lords in An-Nam are more and more powerless
in controlling local forces as well as external forces.
The Nam Chieu people in Central Plains of China attacked and suppressed the Chau dynasty from 858 to 866.
The power of the tiger capital was distributed to small areas.
As a result, the powerful forces played an increasingly important role in the ruling system.
Taking advantage of the situation above, Khuc Thua Vu, Hong Chau governor of Binh Giang province,
established a self-governing regime in An-Nam quite easily in 1906.
In 1907, Khuc Thua Vu died and Khuc Hao was replaced.
In 1917, Khuc Hao died and Khuc Thua My was replaced.
At this time, the South Korean army took over Giaochi and captured Khuc Thua My.
By 1931, the Ho Chi Minh forces led by Duong Dinh Nghia in Thanh Hoa, Asia,
defeated the South Korean government and became the headquarters of the self-governing Vietnamese government.
Having followed Duong Dinh Nghia since he was a child,
Ngo Quyen immediately received the love of Duong Dinh Nghia.
He did not hesitate to give his daughter Duong Thi Vy to Ngo Quyen.
Ngo Quyen became the general and also the son of Duong Dinh Nghia,
who was entrusted by Tuyet Do Su to establish the Chau dynasty,
the basic land of the Duong family, in 1932.
Decisive moment
The sudden change came in 1937.
General Phong Chau was the former governor who killed Duong Dinh Nghia,
became the last Tuyet Do Su naval province during the self-governing period.
However, the governor had no place in the political arena.
His actions on power were opposed by many local forces,
and even the inside of Ho Chi Minh was widely divided.
Being isolated, the governor hurriedly rushed to the bridge to save the South Korean government.
When the news of Duong Dinh Nghia's death came out,
Ngo Quyen immediately pulled the army back to Dai La to suppress the former governor,
and set a plan for the political developments of the South Korean government against the country.
In 1938, after gathering the nobles in the country on his side,
Ngo Quyen led the army from Aichau to the north to fight Kyu Kong Tien.
Kyu Kong Tien was seen by her not having enough strength to resist,
so he was quickly defeated.
Kyu Kong Tien was killed.
At that time, the South Korean army had not yet entered the border.
On the South Korean side,
as soon as the army of Kyu Kong Tien arrived,
the South Korean king was now Lu Kung,
who was the son of Lu Hwang Thao, the head of the navy of Tiet Do Su.
The king's son was Giao Vuong,
who brought two troops to Kyu Kong Tien.
When Lu Kung asked Kyu Ik,
Ik advised that
it was raining for several weeks,
the sea was dangerous,
Ngo Quyen was a person who could not be discouraged.
The army should be careful,
and many leaders should go later.
However, the king of South Korea wanted to march quickly
to fight back the navy province,
so he did not listen to the suggestion of Kyu Ik.
Hwang Thao brought a warship along the Bach Dang River.
Lu Kung became a general himself,
locked in Hai Mon, near the port of Quang Ninh today,
to be a governor.
The Bach Dang River is an important road
from the northeast to the Vietnamese soil.
According to the 5-mile road to Bach Dang,
the enemy can turn around and go to the city of La
or the city of Dai La, completely along the river.
On the Ngo Quyen side,
when he learned that the enemy's vanguard was Hwang Thao,
he told his generals that
Hwang Thao was a young, stupid boy,
brought the army from afar,
the soldiers were still tired,
and when they heard the news of death,
there was no one to respond,
it was too late.
His army was still strong,
the enemy was tired of the army,
which means it was destroyed.
But they had an advantage in the battle.
We did not defend first,
so we lost, we did not know what to do.
If the wrong person brought a large pole,
the head was crushed,
the bag was packed in front of the sea door,
their ship followed the tide up,
into the pole,
then we easily stopped,
did not let any ship escape.
After many observations,
he chose the Bach Dang River
near the Trang Ken mountain,
in the town of Minh Duc, Thuyen Nguyen district,
20 km from the center of Hai Phong city
to the northeast,
is the decisive place.
The Bach Dang River in particular
and the North Bay in general,
has an unmatched tidal point.
The tide rises from midnight to dawn,
the sea door is wide,
the water spreads to both sides of the shore,
up to more than 2 km.
By noon, the tide pulls strongly,
runs very fast,
everything happens evenly once a day.
According to the law of the North,
the authority gave the order to the soldiers
to tie a bag of iron to the bottom of the Bach Dang River.
When the tide rises,
the pole is not exposed.
The authority intends to keep the enemy troops
in this area when the tide rises
and wait for the tide to fall
for the enemy ships with large sizes,
obstacles to the battle.
The way to tie the pole is still a mystery.
However, there is a legend that
the ancients used the following way,
tie the pole,
put the pole down first,
the pole will sink to a certain level,
use a rope to tie 2 clouds,
pull through the top of the pole,
stick each stone into the basket
until it is deep enough to press the pole down.
When the pole reaches a high level,
move the stone out of the basket
and twist the pole.
Now at the end of 1938,
it rains heavily for many days,
the army and people are overwhelmed by the rain,
they still carry wood and build poles at night.
Thousands of limestone,
slag,
chips and iron bags
are brought back to be buried
into solid long columns.
The pole is pointed to the source.
After more than a month,
everything is completed.
According to the plan,
Duong Tam Kha,
the son of Duong Dinh Nghe,
will command the army at Ta Ngang.
Ngo Xuan Ngoc,
the son of Ngo Quyen,
along with Do Canh Thac,
will command at Huu Ngang
and be ready to cooperate with the troops
if the enemy jumps to the shore.
From the sea gate, not far away,
the strongest navy
is led by Ngo Quyen,
ready to fight the enemy
as soon as the sun sets.

The Legend of Bach Dang, 1938
The ground battle was just over,
when the South Korean navy arrived.
At the sea gate and downstream,
when the tide rose,
a whole fleet of navy
led by Hoang Thao
crossed the sea and entered the gate of Bach Dang.
The troops at Yi Kei
led the navy out of the river to fight
and then pretended to run away.
The South Korean army saw Ngo Quyen's troops,
only a few light ships,
thought they could eat the waves
and rush in.
Ngo Quyen ordered the troops to run to the upstream,
Hoang Thao, of course, was blind.
He urged the troops to sail the ship,
trying to get through the gate,
go deep into the river.
When they arrived at the position
that had been arranged before,
the troops began to counterattack
to seal the enemy ship.
When the tide came down,
the ship sank to the water.
The South Korean ship was hit by a shell,
and they fought against each other.
Now, Ngo Quyen led the total force to fight.
The South Korean army was in chaos,
10 people died,
or were killed by the troops to 6-7 people.
General Luu Hoang Thao was killed in the battle.
According to the secretary of the General Staff,
the South Korean army was holding the troops
and blocking the border.
Two ships of the navy lost the battle
but did not have time to counterattack.
In addition, Hoang Thao was killed in the battle.
Luu Cung was terrified,
he only managed to cry out loud
that his name was a bad name,
so that led to this situation.
There was nothing else he could do.
Luu Cung now only knew
to mourn the loss of the remaining troops
and retreated.
It only happened in less than a day.
The Battle of Bach Dang not only destroyed
Luu Hoang Thao's 100,000 troops,
but also the eternal joy,
ambition, and ambition of the South Korean army.
According to many military experts,
the Battle of Bach Dang was a leap
in the military art of Vietnam's war.
In addition to demonstrating the elements of national unity
to carry out civil war,
taking advantage of the climatic terrain
to choose the location for the battle.
This battle also showed the ability to coordinate
the battle between the two naval forces,
with the navy at this time
being a relatively young force.
More importantly,
this battle officially ended
1,000 years of capture.
The Great Vietnamese Secretary-General wrote that
Tien Ngo Vuong could have taken
the new army of Vietnam,
which destroyed Luu Hoang Thao's 100,000 troops,
opened the water of Xuan Vuong,
so that the Northerners
did not dare to come back.
It can be said that it was an anger
that appeased the people,
well-armed,
but also good at fighting.
Although Xuan Vuong
had not yet ascended to the throne,
but the tradition of Vietnam
was almost restored.
The knight
said in the book
Viet Su Tieu An as follows,
Luu Nghiem
is a sharp knife.
From the time Dinh Nghie was just gone,
he was sure that he could fight a battle
to destroy Ngo Quyen.
If there was not a big battle
to lower Luu Nghiem's morale,
the situation would gradually improve.
Therefore, the battle in Bach Dang
was the basis for restoring the country.
Later, Dinh, Le, Ly, Tran
had to rely on him.
The King of the Vietnamese Kings
After the victory of the South Korean army,
Ngo Quyen ascended to the throne
on January 10, the year of Kinh Hoi,
that is, on January 21, 1939,
he established the throne as the queen,
set up the throne,
established the capital Triều Nghi Phong Phuc,
Do in the old La Thanh.
The reason for Ngo Quyen's
not choosing Dai La Song Ut
and the many centuries-old tradition
as the political center before,
experts believe that there are two reasons,
the national self-esteem
and the awareness of protecting the sovereignty
of the country from the old experience.
The awakening of the ethnic consciousness
to connect the old kingdom of Eurasia
back to the ancient kingdom of Eurasia,
showing the will to unite with Dai La
by the North.
In addition, at that time,
there were still many Chinese living in Dai La,
with not small forces,
so this force was easy to carry out
as a response when the Northern army returned.
The main reason was the failure of the US
and the capture of South Korea.
In terms of territory,
Taoist scholar Duy Anh said that
the first great dynasties to rule the eight provinces
Giao, Luch, Phong, Truong, Ai, Dien, Hoang, Phuc, Loc
are on the land of the old provinces.
Ngo Quyen only has power in the provinces
where the residents are the descendants of the Vietnamese,
that is, the Central Plain and the North East Plain,
the Thanh Nghệ area.
As for the Plain of Thuong Du and the provinces
governed by the captains holding the independence,
the relatives,
generals and local governors
have been subjugated by the Ngo Phong Tuoc
such as Phạm Lệnh Công, Lê Lương, Đình Công Trứ.
Ngô Quyền died on January 18,
the year of Giac Thình, 944,
Hưởng Dương, 47 years old.
He has no name and title.
This book is only called Ngo Vuong.
The book Thien Nguyễn Tập Anh
The story of the Vietnamese archbishop
mentioned Ngô Thuận Đế.
After his death,
his body was taken to the grave in the hometown of Đường Lâm.
After Ngo Quyền passed away,
both his sons, Ngo Xuân Ngập and Ngo Xuân Văn,
were not strong enough
to solve the conflicts between the Vietnamese military forces.
In addition, Ngô Quyền's mistake was that
before he died,
he handed over the ambassador
to a ambitious wife,
Duong Tam Kha.
As a result, the 1944 Revolution broke out,
adding to the conflicts that had not been resolved before,
causing a total of 12 rebellions,
and Dinh Bo Linh was the one who put an end to it later.
