Nhà sư trẻ vừa đăng ký nơi ở cho Lục Thanh, vừa khen ngợi Lục Thanh có Phật tính, tuổi còn trẻ thế mà đã có tâm cầu Pháp, có Phật tính tốt, đồng thời chúc mừng Lục Thanh đã tới chùa đúng lúc, phương trượng ngôi chùa này, là vị phật sống nổi danh của Hoàng giáo nơi đất người Hán, thượng sư Thanh Định, vừa hay mới từ Tây Tạng trở về, Lục Thanh vừa đúng thể quy y theo thượng sư, tu hành Phật Pháp thật tốt, tương lai nhất định sẽ đắc chính quả.
Lục Thanh vui mừng khôn xiết, mừng thầm vì được trời thương xót, cuối cùng cũng đã được kết duyên với Phật Pháp.
Theo chân nhà sư đón khách đến nơi ở dành cho cư sĩ, Lục Thanh cảm thấy bất ngờ khi lại có thể gặp nhiều người trẻ tuổi đến vậy cũng đến đây cầu Pháp tầm Đạo, núi Nam biển Bắc, năm sông bốn biển, tất cả đều là vì ngưỡng mộ thanh danh của thượng sư Thanh Định nên đã đến chùa Chiêu Giác, mong nguyện được quy y theo thượng sư, tu hành Phật Pháp. Tâm tình Lục Thanh trong chốc lát bỗng trở nên phấn khởi, đúng là hữu duyên thiên lý năng tương ngộ, vô duyên đối diện bất tương phùng, ở cùng một chỗ với những người trẻ tuổi cùng chí hướng này, lời qua chuyện lại nói cũng không hết. Lục Thanh khi ở đây cũng hiểu được rất nhiều điều liên quan đến Phật giáo và những tri thức về Mật tông, quả là mở mang tầm mắt.
Lục Thanh tại ban hậu cần pháp vật của chùa Chiêu Giác đã thỉnh được một bức pháp chiếu của đại hòa thượng Thanh Định, trên bức hình thật khiến người ta ngạc nhiên chính là một bức tượng Pháp thân của Địa Tạng Vương Bồ Tát, đỉnh đầu là vòng hào quang, tay trái cầm minh châu, tay phải nắm tích trượng, tọa trên đài sen, pháp tướng nghiêm trang. Các nhà sư trong chùa kể rằng, đó là vào năm trước khi đại hòa thượng Thanh Định trong lúc khai quang cho thánh tượng Quán Thế Âm ngàn tay ngàn mắt đặt ở Viên Thông Điện, có vị cư sĩ đã chụp ảnh thượng sư Thanh Định, kết quả sau rửa ảnh thì thấy trong hình là một pho tượng Pháp thân của Địa Tạng Bồ Tát, mọi người liền xôn xao không ngớt, liền cho rằng thượng sư Thanh Định là hóa thân của Địa Tạng Bồ Tát. Sự việc này bỗng chốc được lan truyền khắp miền Tứ Xuyên, thậm chí còn lan truyền khắp toàn giới Phật giáo. Mỗi ngày Chiêu Giác tự đều đón tiếp vô số thiện nam tín nữ từ khắp cả nước đến thăm bái thượng sư Thanh Định liên miên không ngớt, còn những người đến xin bái làm đệ tử tục gia của Thanh Định lên tới con số hàng vạn. Lục Thanh đối với câu chuyện này đương nhiên cũng hết sức kinh sợ, tôn sùng thượng sư Thanh Định như Thần. Bốn giờ sáng hôm sau, tiếng chuông chùa Chiêu Giác khoan thai từ xa vọng đến, đánh thức các tăng nhân, cư sĩ và thiện nam tín nữ trong chùa, đây là giờ niệm kinh sáng của các tăng nhân Hoàng giáo, tất cả mọi người đến chánh điện cử hành pháp sự, cùng tụng niệm “Thượng sư tụng” và các kinh điển phổ biến của Hoàng giáo, công khóa này không có hạn chế, đều mở rộng cửa cho hết thảy người từ xa đến bái phỏng cùng tham dự, nói rằng đây là để kết thiện duyên cùng chúng sinh. Lục Thanh cũng tham gia khóa niệm kinh sáng cùng các tín đồ khác, mắt thấy thượng sư đầu đội pháp quan, cà sa che thân, ngồi ngay ngắn ở trung tâm pháp tọa, dẫn dắt mọi người tụng kinh, tăng nhân cùng tín chúng cung kính đồng thanh hòa ứng, tiếng tụng niệm kinh điển âm vang như sóng biển, khi trầm khi bổng trong làn hương khói càng lộ rõ sự linh thiêng thần thánh và thần bí của Mật giáo.
Vào giờ nghỉ khi kết thúc buổi tảo khóa sáng sớm, Lục Thanh và mọi người lần lượt tiến đến pháp tọa của thượng sư Thanh Định, khấu đầu hành lễ, lễ bái phật sống, dâng lên tài vật làm lễ cúng dường, phật sống cũng sẽ làm mô đỉnh gia trì cho họ.
