(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights REAL SOCIEDAD - CÁDIZ CF

Something organised by La Liga this weekend, a campaign for the top two divisions in Spanish football. Every player for every team in every game this weekend will be walking out onto the pitch with this exact kick. As we are about to see the game kick off tonight. Back, Kouamou with a lovely touch here, gets the better of Thubelia. Kouamou is in the box now, tries to turn. Kouamou lays it off for Kouamou who can't get the shot away. And another effort for Itha Karthelin. And yet again, just wide of the goal. Kavith unable to get really a clear cut. Tamas is onside, the corner is cleared away. But now it's put in by Mika. Real Sociedad have the lead. And not even the Real Sociedad win. But there is a problem now here for the visitors as Maxi Gomez has gone down. Chris Ramos is warming up, this may be the end of the evening. Kavith not really causing any serious trouble for Ramiro despite that shot wide. There's a mistake here at the back though. It's Mikel Oyarzabal and he puts it wide. It leads to a corner. Kouamou turns it back into the danger area again. Back across on the overhead kick. And almost on the head of Kwame. Lays it to the penalty spot cleverly here. Traore goes down. Now to be mended to the back post. The header. And what a save that is from Ledesma. Mikel Merino. Safari has stayed on. As Chris Ramos gets to that ball. He's taken out by Thubelia. And the referee shows him a yellow card. There we see the lines drawn up for us. So it is indeed offside. Traore. Price does well to find Becker. And again it's Bryce Mendez. Lays it across to the back heel. Lovely ball. And what a that is from Real Sofiedad. Arsene Zagharian. With his first goal in Spanish football. It was going to be looked at. Here's Kamari Traore. And that's a brilliant save again. That should have been the Chury Urdin fan base. Finally see their side get back to winning ways at home. First win here since November. He hasn't scored tonight. But boy has he run the game in the middle of the park. Bryce Mendez is the winner.
