RAYO VALLECANO 2 - 1 CA OSASUNA | RESUMEN LALIGA EA SPORTS

1-0 defeat to Valencia, which we will remember for all times for that Budimir penalty miss and the get well soon to Ante Budimir who cracked three ribs in that game and will not play again for his club. This season the two sets of players out on the pitch and very shortly will go through the... Nice ball over the top from Miranda looking for Ruben Garcia. His first touch is brilliant, his second touch is not bad but it's gone wide. Real chance for Osasuna. Opportunity for Ruben Garcia to add a third goal. Does well to play that inside to Moy Gomez. Ruben Garcia with a little bit of space. Ruben Garcia with the shot. Comfortably held by Dimitrovski. A set-piece taker but often it's Lejeune who steps up in these situations and he often goes for goal. And he did there, he bounces out. It's headed away by Munoz. Pablo Ibanez sends it out to Ruben Garcia. Long ball forward. Away by Valentin. Moy Gomez gets it back from Raul Garcia. The chance here for Moy Gomez to put Osasuna ahead. Stretching off the post and into the back of the net and Osasuna have the lead. And it's Moy Gomez with the goal, his third of the season. It's an assist for Raul Garcia as well. It's slightly against the run of play. But just before the half-hour mark, it's Rayo Vallecano near Osasuna 1. Moomin. Drops nicely for De Frutos. And there's almost an immediate response from Rayo. It's Cameo coming on to it. Oscar Valentin back to Issy Palazón. Comes out to Unai Lopez. Pushed away by Sergio Herrera. Away by De Frutos. Trejo with the cross. Can't get it past Herrando. It comes out to Issy Palazón who strikes it. Hard and low but can't beat. In swing to the near post and it was... Driven through the crowd and Rayo are left. And it's Pep Chavarria who's got the goal. Well, the Pepe effect if you like because he did take the corner. But it's Pep Chavarria who scores his first goal of the season for Rayo Vallecano. And they are on terms with... Nicely done by Issy Palazón. Raul de Tomas makes the run. Still Issy Palazón. Gets the shots away. And what a goal that is. They've turned the game around completely in the space of just three minutes. Issy Palazón gets the goal. It's Rayo Vallecano 2. Osasuna 1. And just look at the celebrations. It's the way you celebrate when you know you've achieved safety. Well, they haven't done it mathematically. But they've taken a huge step towards remaining in this division. They are now nine points clear of the drop ahead of Calle Sanchez.
