well the Northeast large-scale terrain show is taking place this weekend at the eastern states Exposition in West Springfield 22 news reporter Kaye cins stop by for the day for one of the festivities all aboard the Northeast largescale Train show train enthusiasts of all ages visited the Young Building at the eastern states Exposition on Saturday for displays Hands-On activities and more they said we have nothing in New England that does large scale trains so we said let's try it let's do it because we already do the January show which is the largest show in the country so let let's try to do this need this Niche that seems to be growing it especially seems to be peing the interest of young people a group of 15 children registered for a train building clinic at the show using assorted materials to bring Creations to life you know one of the things that we have noticed in the last few years is that most of the garden rers are up 5 plus maybe but anyway what we wanted to do is get the young ones involved I think it's a lifelong connection I think once you're hooked you're you're in it for life so if we could get the young kids away from computers away from their phones and actually get their hands on and do some things uh that would make me real happy it's estimated that between, 1500 and 2,000 people will attend the show which continues on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 400 p.m. working for you in West Springfield Kaye Collins 22 News
