This is the southern end of Kamigamo Shrine, where the large torii gate is located.

At Kamigamo Shrine, Kamigamo Horse Racing (Kurabe Uma) is held on May 5th.
It is a horse racing competition originated from the Imperial court, held in the birthplace of horse racing.
The horse is walking!
