The Chinese Communist Party, or CCP's General Secretary, Xi Jinping, will visit three EU
countries between May 5th and October.

Hungary and Serbia are also close European friends of Beijing.
Taiwanese researchers believe Xi wants to use this visit to cause division between the
Lai Rongwei, CEO of the Taiwan Inspirational Association, or TIA, told the Epoch Times,
the CCP wants to create so-called non-cooperation and disunity among European countries, and
even wants to cause discord between Europe and the United States, then use this to break
the containment of China by the United States.
He added that Xi intends to resort to his old trick again, economic cooperation, to
achieve his goal.
Lai believes that Beijing's tricks can be neutralized because the U.S. will help any
country coerced by the CCP using economic pressure.
A few years ago, Lithuania, because it supported Taiwan, was pressured economically by the
Chinese.
The Philippines has also been in a similar situation.
Both of these countries have received active support from the U.S.
Lai added, it can be seen from this series of actions that the United States and European
countries have actually noticed the CCP using economic means to create oppression.
There are only a few countries in Europe that are economically weak, that need the economic
exchanges with China.
Wang Guochun, an assistant researcher at the Tsinghua Institution for Economic Research,
said, the overall picture of Europe and the United States is probably very clear, that
is, from the original unilateral confrontation between the United States and China, it is
now slowly expanding to the EU and Japan to jointly counter mainland China's, CCP's, economic
coercion.
From traditional tariff wars to technology ban and now rising to the level of economic
security.
