FOUR IN A ROW: Manchester City lift the Premier League trophy again 🏆🏆🏆🏆

No club has ever won four top-flight English titles in a row. Four in a row for the formidable Manchester City! Others gave it their best shot, but nobody could keep the pace all the way to the finish line like Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. What we've seen from this team in recent Premier League campaigns, it feels like nothing can knock a very special squad off their stride. It has all been there. The mentality, the belief, the focus when needed, the strength and the skill, all in abundance for Manchester City. It certainly is. I've seen it before, Conor. I've seen it with the great Liverpool sides, 70s and 80s, and then, of course, Sir Alex's brilliant Manchester United teams. We've seen others, Chelsea, have their moments in Premier League football. Of course, Arsenal under Arsene Wenger. But this team get better the more I watch them. And just when you think, perhaps, that they're standing still, all of a sudden, the coach comes up with something else to make them a different proposition and just make them a little bit more difficult to beat. They are the ultimate Premier League team. The champions finish on 91 points. And when the history books are written, the name of Pep Guardiola will be lauded as one of the all-time greats. And this achievement, this first gaining of four titles in a row, never achieved before. And who knows, we may never see the likes of this again. No, we won't. We might not. It's very true, but, as you can see, every single one of them absolutely enjoyed it. And it's so deserved, it really is. This campaign has been so brilliant to watch. Liverpool, up to a month ago, were right in there. Arsenal, brilliant, right up to the last. But you've got to come up with something almost superhuman to top this team. There has got to be a big party at Manchester tonight. Manchester City getting used to that sweet taste of success. The manager, he has now won the title in 12 of those campaigns. A remarkable run of consistency for a man who understands the game like few others. 33 trophies across all competitions. Pep Guardiola continues to be one step ahead of the rest. Yeah, he lays down the ultimate challenge to any coach in the Premier League. You've got to try and come up with something very, very special. Unique to top this guy. Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have been brilliant in recent seasons to run them very close every time. But he still reigns supreme above everybody else. He is still the most difficult coach to conquer and one of the very best I think I've ever seen. I don't think I've ever seen a team play the type of football that his do. The extremely high standards set by Manchester City and yet such are the high standards of the Premier League that even this superior team was brought right down to the last day. And even given a little scare with that bicycle kick from Mohamed Kudus just after Arsenal had equalised. It will all be consigned to the history books now. The winners, the winners hold a smile. These images which will be broadcast right across the world and very much savoured later in their careers by these players who of course have more trophies on their mind already. The success garnered by this Manchester City team who at times make it look very easy but of course it absolutely never is. The celebrations for now. Manchester City top of the pile once again. As we say goodbye to the 23-24 campaign. But the 2024-25 season kicks off on August 17. That is 90 days from now. We will see you then. Did you enjoy that?
