Hey crafters, welcome back to Handiworks. Today we're getting fancy with a project
that combines beautiful embroidered flowers with stunning hardanger details.
We won't be covering the drawn thread embroidery for the border in this video,
but fear not, there's a link in the end screen that takes you to a full tutorial
In this project, we'll not only create beautiful embroidered designs,
but also find solace in the calming rhythm of stitching. Take a moment to relax, breathe,
and let your creativity flow as we embark on this soothing journey. Happy stitching!
Now let's get flowery. We'll use different embroidery stitches to create five unique blooms.
Embroidering five colorful flowers in each square. For the first flower,
we'll use the petal stitch for the petals and the fly and lazy daisy stitches for the leaves.
This one's a classic. We'll use fly stitch and lazy daisy for some awesome leaves,
stem stitch for the stem, and petal stitch to bring the flower to life.
Designed to free your hands and provide a relaxed embroidery experience,
this stand is perfect for individuals of all ages, especially those who may experience wrist
or shoulder pain. If you're in need of a hands-free solution for your embroidery projects,
this stand might just be what you're looking for. Check it out at handistore.shop and see
if it's the right fit for your crafting setup. Moving on to the second flower,
we'll stick with the petal stitch for the flowers and add lazy daisy stitches for the leaves,
along with the intricate braid stitch. The third flower will feature the woven picot
stitch with cast-on stitch, accompanied by fishbone and lazy daisy stitches for the leaves.
All about dimension, raised close herringbone stitch for the leaves,
boasting a detached buttonhole with a cast-on stitch for a captivating flower center.
Our showstopper, combining lazy daisy with french knots, bullion knots,
and even a woven picot stitch for a truly dazzling bloom.
This video focuses on all the fun with these five amazing flowers we just stitched together.
