JEWELRY FOR BEAUTIFUL WOMEN
157 followers
Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you my fine jewelry collection. Some new pieces,
some that were passed down, and some vintage items as well as the stories behind some of
my favorite pieces. I wear fine jewelry. Fine jewelry meaning precious metals such as silver
and gold as well as precious or semi-precious gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, emeralds.
I choose to wear precious metals because my skin reacts better to it. I have very sensitive skin.
It will change colors as well as my ears. Even sometimes precious metals will make my ears react
negatively in my cartilage so it's a whole hassle but let's get into it. Let's start with what I'm
wearing. As for necklaces, I have layered them today. I got this small little choker and this
I think it's called like a snake link or some people call it herringbone necklace. You can see
on the back that it is a true herringbone from a place called Banter or also known as Piercing
Pagoda. These are my newest chains. I think they're so cute, so lovely and then this little
dainty emerald piece right here as well as this ring are both from Etsy. You will notice throughout
this video that a lot of the jewelry I get that's vintage or secondhand is from Etsy because they
have estate sales on Etsy which means that they're selling people's older jewelry, people that have
passed away and their family doesn't want to keep the jewelry. I also love Etsy because you can see
how many customers the person has had and you can look at all reviews which is a great way to find a
and I will link down below some of my favorite sellers and people that I shop from on Etsy for
fine jewelry. Moving on to rings, this emerald ring is 14 karat gold with emeralds and diamonds
and then this one is 14 karat gold and you will see the Chanel emblem on it. I'm not 100% sure
if this ever actually came from Chanel because as far as I know a lot of luxury pieces it's
costume jewelry it's not real gold so I don't know but I did get this from one of my favorite
consignment stores in San Diego. I'll go ahead and put that location down below but I love shopping
at consignment stores not just for jewelry but for old house pieces like you just find the coolest
things and this ring was one of them. Now let's get into some of my sapphire pieces. We are gonna
start with rings. So these beautiful sapphire rings are 14 karat gold and this one has diamonds
on it and they're both from Etsy however there is a story behind these rings. I was passed down
three sapphire rings from my great great grandmother and I lost all three of them. I was
absolutely terrified to tell my mom because she gave them to me because sapphires are my birthstone
and to this day I still don't know how I lost them. I don't know if I had set them down somewhere
and didn't pick them back up if I just misplaced them in my grandmother's old house. I don't know
but either way I decided I needed to replace those rings and so this one is pretty much an exact
replica of the ring that I lost however by the time that it was I was going to replace the second
one I had already told my mom and I got it out of the way and I just decided I still wanted three
sapphire rings however they didn't need to be exactly the same. I just needed to be more careful
with my jewelry but also it's just jewelry it's just an item and my mama still loves me even
though I lost some very sentimental pieces. All of my family just got home so if you hear some
noise that's what it is but I do want to show you guys my class ring. Now this is not a sapphire but
it is a blue gemstone so I'm going to put it in that category. I'm very proud of this ring I worked
hard for my degree in accounting graduated a year early 2021 and it's right next to my great
grandmother's ring we went to the same school our alma mater so that is just like it's very special
to me to be able to see the upgrade because it's an upgrade baby from her class ring to mine.
I really love that. This is my favorite necklace
probably because it's my gemstone with diamonds it's both yellow gold and white gold it was one
of the first expensive pieces I bought from Etsy. Here let me hold it up I know that I have so many
necklaces on already but I do want you to see like how it would look if it was on my neck.
I am in love with this necklace. I don't know if my camera will focus on it as I get closer
but it is 14 karat gold. My neighbors I promise you all of my neighbors have decided to do their
yard work all at once so I'm just about ready to give up but this is my pride and joy this is
probably my favorite piece in my jewelry collection the day I can't wait for when I can pass it down
to my daughters or if I don't have kids pass it down to my nieces because out of all my siblings
somebody gonna have some kids and I just think it's so beautiful. This little baby right here
I actually think this was my first sapphire piece so this is a real sapphire however it is plated
in gold so um take that as you will but this was my first piece of jewelry that I remember my mom
getting me and it went on this super super thin dainty chain that I have since gotten rid of that
chain that chain was made of I don't even know what but I still keep it just as sentimental value
and I do have other gold chains I'm going to show you that I think it would go really cutely like
it might even be really cute on this choker. These are the final pieces in my sapphire collection
it's these very very gorgeous sapphire earrings with silver the way that they sparkle and I love
that they're shaped like a moon that reminds me I need to show you my earring set for the day but
these are so gorgeous I think I got these from either Kay's Jewelers or Zales but they were
having a sale and it was my opportunity. Dude I almost forgot the largest sapphire piece that I
own um right here so this is from Sam's Club I think these are lab created sapphires with silver
nothing too crazy not really that expensive but I like it you can see right here
that it just it glistens it glows so I'm not gonna put it on but you can kind of see
how it would sit and it does have multiple links so I can click it into either one I definitely
think it's only supposed to go on that top part but if I want it to be a different length or I
want it to sit shorter I do just go ahead and clip it into a different hole. Fun little tidbit my
mom's name is Tiffany and my name is Kay so I'm giving you like all of my family's information but
growing up I'd be like oh Tiffany's is for you and Kay is for me because you know there's Tiffany
and Co and Kay's Jewelers so that might have been where my love of jewelry started just the fact
that both me and my mom have names that correspond to certain jewelers. I want to show you some of
my emerald pieces I know you've already seen a few such as my ring and my necklace however
here are all of my emerald earrings I hope it focuses so I have this emerald and I don't know
if they're diamonds or just crystal but these little hoops I tend to prefer smaller hoops like
huggies or anything as large as this size but larger is just too much for me
and then I have these clusters and I believe the shape of the emerald is known as marquise
I really love jewelry from that period of time where everything was done in this shape so
this is one of my favorites however it's huge and I generally want to put this on like
my cartilage this is like so hard to show you um like it would go up there but it's just so big
that I don't know if that works out too well so also to show you my current ear stack I just have
this little ruby stud with this chain diamond cut gold um it's not diamonds it's just diamond cut
and then a little huggy as well as these twisted hoops that I got from QVC
those were actually my first set of hoops that I wore in my ears because I told you guys my ears
are really sensitive so from the age of like 7 to 17 I believe I just didn't wear earrings at all
it didn't matter what it was my ear crest up I didn't know what was going on to this day I still
don't know but it's not like I was consecutively trying to wear them once I had such a bad reaction
I just gave up for a while so but now your girl has all the earrings and sorry I'm out of breath
talking so much but I have lost some of my piercings because of how sensitive my ears are
I think on this side I lost one oh and I lost my date and I lost two more so
earrings for me are special just because I never know how long my ears will tolerate them
the last set of earrings that are emerald are going to be these dangly ones with stars on the
bottom the backs to these are kind of loose so I gotta be careful when I wear them but these come
out every holiday season because emerald is just that girl she's that girl for the Christmas time
so I really like these okay we are halfway through so I'm gonna show you my garnet slash
ruby jewelry so let's start with this beautiful ring right here I actually don't know if this is
garnet um or rubies or what it is I'm assuming it's garnet I have only a few ruby slash garnet
pieces and I knew I wanted a ring so I was looking on Etsy and my mom was like hold up your grandma
had some ruby pieces and so I was like oh okay and she had a few rings but this is the one that I
liked the most and I'm not sure what that clear stone is I know it's not a diamond because those
would be some big diamonds and um granny couldn't afford all that but it might be some sort of
crystal or diamonique I don't really know but it still shines it's not cloudy and this is quite an
old ring so I just think it's gorgeous and then you already saw the oh it's the other ear but the
ruby earring and I do have the other stud to go with it as well as so this little stud I believe
was from Macy's or JCPenney's but this one this deep garnet beautiful stud was from Etsy and it's
has like crushed diamonds it's so beautiful only thing about this earring is this one actually does
irritate my ears so I don't know what it is but I can only keep it on for up to like eight hours
anything after eight hours I just really want to take these out I think it might have to do with
the way that the back is set because it's kind of broken I did mess it up so maybe if I go get that
fix it'll stop irritating my ears I want to show you the rest of the gold pieces all at once before
we move over to silver these are the final necklaces that I have this necklace is very thin
dainty it's so gorgeous it is from piercing pagoda or banter and then this pearl one this was the
first gold necklace that I bought myself I bought this necklace from QVC the chain did break at one
point in time so I had to go get it fixed I would always recommend knowing who you can go to to fix
your chains I don't pay for those protections and warranties for if my item breaks because
if it's something like a chain it's so affordable to go get it fixed so this little bangle right
here is from Pandora I actually this is my second one I lost the first one on the beach at La Jolla
Shores or no it was at Windensee and I was just like oh my gosh I can't believe that and I went
back and I no longer worked at the mall at the time but they still gave me a mall discount because
the girl in the Pandora thought that I still worked there so that was cool and I think I just
had some left on a gift card but I wear this bangle all the time it's one of the few bracelets that
look at my little claw hand but it's one of the few bracelets that I commonly wear because
bracelets are my least favorite type of jewelry each of these earrings has a set but I'm just
showing you one this I used to wear at the top of my ear for cartilage this is just a little hoop
and this right here I don't know if you would call it a huggy let me show you the back
the way that this opens is like that so it's very secure these gold earrings just two little
huggies and a stud this is not a diamond I think this is just like a crystal but the back is gold
these are the last gold earrings that I have they're these cute little spirals and all the
earrings I just showed you are all from piercing pagoda for these final gold ones but these are so
cute my final gold pieces are going to be these two rings from piercing pagoda or banter
and I think these are just 10 karat gold they're very simple they bend really easy
this pinky one actually has a dent in it but I would like more pinky rings in the future
all right so excuse me I don't have too many silver pieces so this should be quite
easy to show you guys we'll start with my hair is getting caught on the tree
that's how you know it's ready to take this style out but let's start with rings so I love the story
behind all these you already know this is my grandmother's class ring however I bought this
ring from a consignment store the same consignment store that I got that Chanel one from and then
my mom was showing me my great grandmother and I know when I say grandmothers it can get confusing
because I have great grandmothers great great grandmother and just grandmother but this was my
great grandmothers and I was like wait hold up that looks so similar to a ring that I already own
and when I went and looked at it I looked underneath because underneath it says something
about the brand and it's from the exact same brand and it's the same style it's just a different
I don't know is that opal not too sure what that is um I don't even think that's a stone at all I'm
not too sure I know this is silver though I was like wow who would have thought that me and my
great grandmother have well I would have thought she was a very classy stylish woman but we have
the same style in rings and now I have something that's hers and something that's mine but like it
comes together and it makes one and I just I don't know I really like that I think it's cool
that it worked out that way as for earrings you already saw the sapphire ones that I had
and these are just silver with I'm not sure if it's aquamarine or if it's topaz I have a feeling
it's topaz because I remember my grandmother I think one of her favorite stones was aquamarine
might have even been her birthstone but just because I don't know what birthstone her month
is I know what her birthday is it's in March but um I think it's topaz because I remember wanting
to get aquamarine and I was like wait they don't have it or it just didn't look as nice but this
still reminds me of her because it's something I got to remember her after she passed away
now we have these little babies right here my camera's struggling to focus because it's
sparkly but these are not real diamonds um I don't even know what these are and I actually
don't love these earrings I got them from amazon I wanted to have some cute simple earrings because
this was during a time where all the youtubers I was watching um they were like the classy woman
the woman that didn't have a trillion and one piercings the way that I do um they would just
have one simple lobe and they dress like neutral and nice and I was I was feeling the energy that's
not who I am but I really enjoyed that so that's when I got these so that is all of my fine jewelry
I do have some costume jewelry pieces when I travel such as when I went to Mexico I got this
handcrafted um citrine citrine citron I will put the word on the screen but I got that necklace and
it's really gorgeous I also have this glass ring that I got while I was in either Murano or Barano
it's one of the islands that's near Venice in Italy so I do keep some costume jewelry just
for sentimental reasons or like jewelry my friends have made me but I'm not going to include that in
this video if you do want to know a little bit about my costume jewelry pieces just let me know
down below I'll do a separate video on that but I hope that you enjoyed watching please consider
subscribing and liking my video and until the next holiday video that was a little bit extra but
it's okay I'm extra
