Hi this is Shortha and welcome to my YouTube channel. I hope you have watched my previous
vlog where I showed what all I did in Taipei city and now I'm going to explore the natural
beauty of Taiwan. My next destination is Taroko National Park. To reach Taroko I took a train
from Taipei to Hualien. You better not sleep then you will miss the beautiful view outside.
I will suggest pre-book your train ticket at least one to two weeks beforehand because
mostly it gets sold out. The train journey was super smooth and I reached Hualien station within
two and a half hours. Just two minutes walking from the station I reached the visitor center
from where I took a tour bus to Taroko National Park. So there are multiple trails in Taroko.
You can get down from the bus at each stop, explore and wait for the next bus to come.
I decided to explore three easy trails as it was raining since morning.
So first I stopped at Boluwan trail. Okay I'm back from the Edas trail. I thought it's gonna
end in the river but it ended on a road. So now I'm back to the suspension bridge.
I would suggest avoid the Edas trail if you don't have much time. Now that's my destination.
There's also a small museum where you can see the lifestyle of the native tribes.
Here I had some food and also did some souvenir shopping for my mom.
Then again I took the bus and arrived at Tien Shan which is also the last stop of Taroko.
This place is really beautiful and up there you can see the beautiful temple.
I was not feeling well so I decided to not finish the trail and decided to go
mistake. I missed the last bus that returns to Hualien but I met some really nice local people
and they gave me a lift to the station. Like I said in my previous video also Taiwanese people
are so nice. Then I checked into my hotel in Hualien and next morning I booked a cab to explore
the east coast of Taiwan. Okay yesterday I went to the mountain side. Today I booked a cab which
is going to be showing me the places in the east coast of Taiwan. Right now I'm in this beautiful
viewpoint like this is also on the top of the mountain but it's like next to the sea. It's
really nice. Okay so my driver dropped me at Dashibi hill and now I'm going to this track
and end at the beach. I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday like physically and mentally.
Yesterday I was like really excited about exploring the Taroko national park but I
couldn't really. One of the reason maybe I don't have the appropriate trekking shoe.
I forgot to wear that and I don't even have time to buy a new one so that was one of the reason
but today it is like even better because Taroko national park was kind of like
to such beautiful viewpoints you have to trek a lot but this one is not at all that difficult
to reach and the view is like amazing. I don't think the camera can show how beautiful the place is.
Okay so we arrived in this cave kind of structure.
So crazy beautiful.
This is something you should definitely not miss if you are in Taiwan. This ride is really
beautiful. After such a beautiful day trip I asked my driver to take me to a sandy beach
but he said there's not many sandy beaches available. Public beaches are mostly like
black sand and pebbles. So I went to this beach and I collected some nice pebbles that I'm going
to take home and we ended the trip with visiting a small temple of earth god.
He also gave me this sesame seed bun which is famous in Taiwan. Then I took my train back to Taipei
and then my flight to India.
