Walk With Me: CityPlace Dan Leckie Way Walk in Toronto 🍁

hello sorry hello this is Amed D today I'll have another episode of Tron live video and walking walking along the Dan licki way street and this is in City Place downtown Toronto so you can see that uh there's a new gangcha which seems to be a drink store uh probably like in a tea uh I think they're Asian uh I remember seeing them in uh Manila Philippines but I haven't uh tried their stuff yet so you know we would like you to go and try out one day and then there's some stores here and then we have uh the TD Bank so I just went to the TD Bank to withdraw some cash and we are going to close to the Waterfront taking the D lcky way all the way and you can see that we have some beautiful skyscrapers uh these are huge Towers in City Place toron and looks like it's a beautiful sky uh sunny weather and the temperatur is hovering around 23 24° in that range uh but it doesn't feel warm at all not bad weather and you can see that a lot of people are out enjoying the short lived summer in Canada so the highway you're looking at is a guardian expressway so we just going to go underneath it and then walk on dle way and we have some kind of artwork right here and see here's some open space uh but I don't see anything happening here this it's just like you know decoration kind of stuff so wondering if these are made of plastic actually yeah they are they are made of plastic so you can see that it has hollow sound so they're made of plastic but has beautiful decoration and we have San Tower sneaking out which is right there and that street you're looking at is dcky way so this is kind of in the middle of City Place in downtown Toronto so it's like in a a chick place in the heart of downtown and you can see the tower has two buildings attached it looks like like an Bridge or looks like a SLE and actually those are condos or unit so they're like you know two floors on top of each other but if you look at them from outside it looks like they're just connected via a bridge so house Street which is the small street here and this is the street I just took so let's keep walking on Dan ly way and we're going close to the water and actually if you just look up ahead you can view the water and I'm seeing something I'm not sure if that's a ferry or something else but we're going to go close and check check it out what is that so the street coming up is lecture Boulevard West so you can see some rush hour traffic people are returning home after work in downtown t so this is the CN tower kind of sneaking out behind those buildings and waiting for the walk light fistle wind is just picking up a little bit not too much and let's take a look at this way okay so you got the walk sign so instead of going here straight this way this way I'm just going to go right there and come across this building okay we don't have walk sign yet okay so you got the walk sign here so this condo you're looking at this is actually one of the older condos and you can tell by looking at the building but it still looks beautiful so we're just going around this building you can see the tree leaves are very green and vibrant they're full and looks like the trees on the left they haven't recovered yet from the winter so during winter all the trees they die and they reborn in the beginning of Summer so looks like we have a nice Garden area right here uh I have a feeling this is made for the people in these condos but we can still take this path so it looks like like in a garden between this place and very quiet and you can see that it's lots of shadow and I can hear some birds Ching too and these look like Canadian geese made of wires and the garden seems to be beautiful here here and if you look at the pattern of the condos balcony they're slightly different than usual they're kind of wavy and I see some stores here actually I can hear I can smell cooking so most likely people are cooking after returning home and we are going to go again to Danley way and make a LIF turn so looks like we have another private Garden right here and if you look at the balconies it's same like the other one I was showing you they're like a bit wavy kind of pattern and you can hear the jet because we are close to the Billy Bishop airport in downtown Toronto which is a small airport and we have a Japanese Restaurant iruka Sushi so I don't see anyone inside looks like it's empty most likely it's to and you can see here Japanese regular and spicy see Nagasaki Ran So let's continue to gy way I just got got the walk sign so we have about 10 seconds to cross which should be good enough so this is a bike trail people bike and Jog and run on this Trail so we can go ahead and cross I don't see any bikes coming so you can see this is the end point of Dan Lake e way and another view of CN Tower and a lot of people walking their dogs and you see some boats or cruise boats these go for cruise so this is the marina we are not going this way today and right over there is a music Garden uh we'll go there another day today I'm not going that way but there's a nice Garden right there where you can hang out and sometimes they play music hence the name the music Garden so I can see the guy cleaning the boat looks like one plane just [Music] landed and there's another Bo just left it looks like to me a rental so we can rent some boats from here so this these boats I didn't see them uh last year so I think these are new this year so let's go and check it out so it feels like the one just picked up a little bit and you can see lots of Park boats in here I can hear some bars are very noisy okay so here I can see the posters of these boats so you have to scan to buy tickets and esap the host ship so they don't say they don't have prices on it so you have to kind of scan or go to their website to get the prices and we have another sign here this dog is open to all come soak up in soak up the sun but stay off the boats they are private not for everyone okay so these boats actually look like they're private I thought they're rental okay why don't you just step on it uh they just made this uh dock because last time I was here like a week or so I saw them making it so looks like they're done and here's we have one boat and actually I I can uh still smell the wood because I think this is just done so the still it has still the fresh good scent then we have a we have a few boats here and then here there chairs you can sit very nice place to just sit and do nothing and here you can see some boats and you have a small room for maintenance right here and there are more chairs here so these chairs look nice and we have more boats [Music] he so this one actually looks like a taxi kind of boat and here this one actually looks like a ship you can see that this is kind of a nice big ship so these are probably for rentals you can Cruise them and this is the end of the dock right here and so you have a full view of the CN tower uh I think this is the co coolest looking ship or boat it kind of looks like the old day pirate ship and I can see some planes are landing there so lots of waves and the dock is a little bit shaking and there's another entrance right here so they have two entrances you can see that they're still they haven't finished making it yet I see some Woods here and there hello ntin thank you for your comment so yes we have a view of the CN Tower and this is in downtown Toronto close to the marina the end of Dan Ley way which is right there and you can see that uh they're painting something is it 6 o00 yeah it's almost nothing no we're done s for uh it's actually probably k um but but kid is busy yeah yeah and also teaching the uh a so let's see if we can get a view of the CN Tower from here catching both this boat and cant Tower okay it doesn't come that good this is the best VI you I can get okay so I'm just going to go the other side and see if I can get a nice view of the boat okay actually it looks a little
