around for almost 50 years Since last year, Brabus has not only built cars for Mercedes-Benz but also for Porsche and Rolls-Royce Also last year, a very special thing that Brabus decided to do is to launch their first motorbike which is the Brabus 1300R Brabus didn't choose the development path from the beginning but decided to cooperate with KTM to do that This motorbike was developed on the basis of KTM 1290 Duck Evo which is a very long name KTM 1290 Duck Evo is one of the best motorbikes in KTM's series It's famous for its fast acceleration and has been around for a long time In addition, the light weight is a very characteristic feature of this motorbike That's why Brabus decided to choose this motorbike to develop their first motorbike One of the things that make this motorbike valuable is not only its special equipment but also its limited number of motorbikes There are only 77 black models in the world and 77 red models In total, there are 154 motorbikes In Vietnam, there are only 2 motorbikes The red one is already available And here I have the black version When Brabus announced this motorbike and started selling it on the market In just 2 minutes, they sold out all the Brabus 1300R The first thing I want to share about this motorbike is its power Brabus 1300R is equipped with a Lc8 V-twin engine inherited from the 1290 Duck Evo And this 1301cc cylinder engine will provide a maximum output of 180 horsepower at 9,500 rpm while the maximum torque is 140 Nm at only 8,000 rpm This motorbike can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 3.2 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 270 km per hour This is a huge number for a motorbike like this In terms of numbers, we will not see the difference between this Brabus 1300R and its predecessor the original KTM Superduke 1290 However, there are some differences which can be described as this cylinder Basically, Brabus said that the engine of this KTM is too perfect so they just want to focus on developing other components such as having better equipment and better engine performance The cylinder system can directly affect the performance of the engine Although the number at the beginning is still the same as the original KTM Superduke 1290 R Evo However, I think when operating in reality this cylinder system also brings certain differences in terms of operation In addition, the sound is very exciting Now I will turn up the volume for you to hear Next, let's take a look at the appearance of this motorbike The design of the Brabus 1300R is almost completely different from the original KTM Superduke 1290 The body of the motorbike is very aggressive and a little bit of that we can see the classic of this motorbike Looking at the front, the first impression can be said to be the light system of the motorbike We will have a round headlight with a very large size and outside it also has a round LED indicator and inside is the word Brabus and it will be separated above and below is the headlight and the headlight As far as I can see, this design is quite similar to modern Husqvarna and Husqvarna has also developed the 1300cc line but it's just a test run they haven't really launched that line So if you can imagine you can fly a little further we can see that this round headlight is very similar to the light system of the new-generation G-class Around the light system of the motorbike we can see two quite large speakers and there is also a small speaker below On the KTM Superduke 1290 the windshield is placed in the middle separating the two sides but for the design of the round headlight the windpipe has been redone In terms of theory, these windshields in general, its concept is called RAM-E The RAM-E system is a design of air intake using air pressure due to the movement of the motorbike to increase the air pressure inside the intake when it enters the engine which helps increase the power of the engine The pressure of the engine means that the air pressure is formed when the air or liquid is in a state of stagnation At the same time, the air pressure will create a moving liquid It sounds a bit unreasonable but basically, this RAM-E is operated by reducing the air pressure and combustion by increasing the area of the air intake The air pressure decreases, the air pressure moves down and the air pressure increases which helps the engine to operate more efficiently In addition, this air intake system also helps the air flow directly and has a better direction than other air intake systems We know that the air has oxygen and when the air pressure increases we will have more oxygen and when a mixture of fire and oxygen works inside the engine the combustion effect will be better In the end, we have an engine that works with the most effective power On both sides of the front of the bike there is a Cignal light system and it has a fairly small design It has a running effect On the top of the headlight we will see a very smooth pattern and this is the carbon material We will see this material all over the bike Carbon and Carbon Besides the carbon details all over the bike this bike also has some changes For example, we will have a fan arm and a fan oil tank and the details such as the bar or the rearview mirror We will have a platinum frame made by Brabus and the frame of the bike is also made with a very special red leather These details are modified by Brabus and it makes the bike more suitable for the purpose of the bike manufacturer from Germany These details not only make the bike more beautiful and different but also more valuable and of course it also brings the calculation of the weight The weight of the bike will be reduced to 6 kg compared to the Superduke 1290 and here we have a bike with a weight of 194 kg The height of the bike is 845 mm Now I will try to sit up and see my sitting position As you can see, I have to struggle to stand this bike I only have a height of 1.68 m Although KTM is a brand that focuses on maximizing the volume of the bike to maximize the power on the weight However, I see that KTM bikes usually have a fairly large height and for heavy bikes like this For people like me who have a slightly lower position may not feel very confident when sitting on this bike When sitting up, I feel that the movement is a bit low, so the riding position is very sporty and I'm a little bit round lying on both sides of the bike we will see that the two windshields are also covered with carbon and the details of the windshield help maximize the aerodynamics of the bike In addition, when the bike reaches a high speed it also creates a lot of downforce to maintain the grip of the bike on the road to help the bike run at a higher speed Next, I will share about the technology as well as the suspension system of the bike First of all, let's talk about the technology We will have a torque control system which helps the grip of the two wheels to maintain the speed because this is a very powerful bike so it needs such a safe system We will have a quick shifter system and this engine also has a clutch to prevent the rear wheel from slipping when entering an emergency or slip-clutch We will have ABS in the front and rear wheels and ABS in the rear wheels In addition, KTM bikes have a supermoto ABS which allows us to turn off the ABS in the rear wheels to perform slides depending on our needs In addition, the bike also has a cruise control similar to other high-end motorcycles or on low-end bikes Now let's talk about the other technical details on the bike which is the clock The speedometer of the bike is a TFT screen which is quite large I think it's about 4-5 inches Instead of having a white or black light this bike has a red screen which looks very cool We will see the rev counter and the speedometer In addition, when adjusting the speedometer it will show a lot of other information that we can adjust while riding
