The Beauty Cat Once upon a time, there was a cat named Minou who belonged to a poor peasant. Minou was an ordinary cat, but he was very clever and determined to change their fate. He knew that the peasant could never offer a luxurious life to him and his family. So he decided to take things in hand. One day, he went to see the king wearing shiny leather boots and introducing himself as a noble cat capable of protecting him from danger. Minou introduced himself. Hello, Mr. King. I am Minou, a cat belonging to a poor peasant. The king replied. Hello, Minou. What can I do for you? Minou said. I came to offer you my bodyguard services. I am very clever and determined to change our fate. The king, a little hesitant, said. Really? And what makes you so special? Minou said.
