player of the game Dwight Howard with a monster game on those 90s bigs I can't believe it great game Jordan Jordan absolutely played terrible today absolutely played terrible day was shut down by the defense of the 2000s players Wow great game and congratulations to the 2000s team what an impressive victory over the 90s you have it right there man we just watched it man live in direct we had to we had the 2000s players versus the 90s players the depth I think I think when I recapped that game I think it was the depth of that 2000s team and constantly when they were able to go to the bench I mean you have a Chris Paul you have a Derek Rose I mean even when you look at some of those bigs the Dwight Howard comes out the game you can go to Giannis all right you can go to AD that length everywhere length and shooting everywhere and then when this game started out y'all when this game started you know remember what we saw the 90s could not find a three point shot this is one of the things that we talked about in our debates the 90s the 90s are not great three-point shooters and it showed today Drexler struggled from the field this team packed the paint with they you know with this with the zoned up look those driving lanes were not there so you couldn't see guys like Drexler and Jordan really attacked the rim like they're used to the length of bothered them and they continuously pressured the ball and you have guys like James Harden he can pressure the ball when he knows he has those towers behind them like Giannis like Dwight like AD to help him if these guys get to the rim it's a different game you know when I see the 90s play again and hopefully against the 80s or the next matchup that we're going to see later we're gonna see the 90s versus the 80s maybe in the 90s you know we'll have a better chance against the 80s but I want to see a better game plan and I really want to see Michael Jordan be a lot more aggressive because it's for whatever reason it looked as if the zoned up look by the 2000s team just completely took Michael Jordan out the game he couldn't find his rhythm it looked like he would have got off to a hot start with the dunk early but after that it was you know he couldn't find a shot he couldn't make a mid-range shot and those 2000s guys did a good job of smothering him whenever he caught the ball inside of the three-point line there you have it right there victory 2000s with an easy and the only reason I say easy and I know the 90s team made a few runs I say it was easy because every time this 90s team got close Harden with a big three Dwight Howard with an easy layup we saw Derek Rose come up with a big three we saw Chris Paul come up with a big three it was those threes that made the difference so when I see the 90s play the 80s I really want to see if they can take advantage of the three-point line now we know that the three-point line is a little bit farther back they're still trying to adjust to it you know maybe they're maybe they're used to shooting a little closer close towards the high school or college three-point line it's a little farther back so hopefully they can get into the lab and prove the pick and roll was ineffective because these two-thousand teams switched everything John Stockton now he did get to the basket a few times but it looked like they were gonna live with this 90s team making layups if they can make tough layups they live with it this 2000 team wanted to take away the three-point line they they absolutely did a great job of that I think the 90s team only made two threes the entire game struggle from the field and just just absolutely controlled the game by the 2000s team with Dwight Howard being the player of the game you know of all all the unlikely players you know Kobe Bryant Kobe Bryant set out this game he dealt with an ankle injury he sprained his he sprained his ankle in the practice leading up to this so he decided to sit out Kobe Bryant really wanted to get ready for the game against the 80s so we're gonna see Kobe Bryant back in the game against the 80s so even without Kobe Bryant this 2000s team was able to prevail that's big that's big so I can't wait to see the next matchup next matchup is gonna be the 90s versus the 80s and I really hope this 80s team can read these 90s team can redeem themselves because they have a tall task
