Life is full of these three things, and they are suffering.
My dear friends,
the state of mind,
which is joy,
anger,
sorrow,
hatred,
depression,
loss,
and depression,
are the seven emotions of a human being.
These seven emotions
are born out of happiness or suffering.
Happiness is when we achieve what we want,
like or desire.
Unhappiness or suffering is when we are caught up in delusions,
expectations,
or dreams that do not come true.
From there, the mind emanates
thoughts through many states,
such as negative thoughts,
laughter,
deep thoughts,
delusions.
In life,
no one is not experiencing
happiness,
sorrow,
depression.
No one
does not have joy
and suffering.
But joy and suffering
are also due to the mind,
and also due to the mind.
In the past,
in the process of movement and development,
people have always been careful to find ways
to overcome suffering.
In particular,
the ancients also described
the truth of life's depth
and meaning.
If life is still blinded by these things,
then we will not be able to escape suffering.
Let's experience it
through today's video.
First,
people often suffer
because they want everything to go their way.
They know that this is not right,
but we cannot change our desires
and control everything in our hands.
And when everything goes wrong,
we are often angry,
sad,
confused,
and upset.
And in the end,
we become a version
full of bad qualities.
An extroverted person,
his desire,
in addition to the physical body,
is also to satisfy his instincts,
to conquer,
to be greedy,
and to achieve the things
that he feels
in his wife
is lacking.
And to the lover
is the answer.
An extroverted woman,
in addition to satisfying her own goals,
can also create more
feelings of victory,
of pride,
when she fights for her husband.
And there are not few cases
that people call
the opposite of the official wife
of an extroverted man.
And the wife,
although she is a deceiver,
but she also has her own desires,
which are the possession,
the control of her husband,
the responsibility of a man,
the commitment
and the desire to take revenge on her.
And the most important thing
is to regain her self-respect
when she is hurt.
Therefore,
there have been many cases of jealousy,
a few slaps,
a few insults,
and even a kiss
that violates the law.
Here, it is not said who is right and who is wrong,
but to satisfy one's own feelings,
all three people in this story
are not really happy.
Therefore, the Buddha said
that everything should be natural,
should not depend on nature,
adapt to all circumstances
to make the mind beautiful.
People live in life,
precious in the place where there is virtue.
For money,
please do not bring it with you.
Do not bring it with you.
Do not pursue it,
but cling to it.
What is yours
will be yours.
If it is not yours,
even if there is a wish,
it is not possible.
I still remember an old story,
I heard my grandmother tell it
in my village.
From a long time ago,
everyone in my village
believed in the Buddha.
Every Tet holiday,
everyone made sticky rice cakes
to make the mind grow into the Buddha,
and to make offerings.
There was a very poor family.
Because they did not have money to buy sticky rice,
they could only use corn
to make cakes to express their mind.
When they finished the first cake,
he looked up at the altar and prayed.
I am so poor,
I have no money,
I can only use corn to make cakes to express my mind.
Please forgive me
and accept my heart.
He just finished his words,
then he heard a voice
coming from space.
He looked at me like that,
then I will help you.
The speech was just finished.
The poor man
saw eight gold coins on the table.
He shook himself and asked,
Dear God,
what should I do
to pay off my debt to you?
The God answered,
Please give me a name,
Dong Lai Vu.
The poor man
began to use these eight gold coins
to make a living.
Gradually,
his life became better.
One day,
he went out to work.
Just when it was raining heavily,
the sky was dark.
He went to a village
where there was no market,
so it was dark.
He found a house
far away,
so he went there to ask for help.
This is also a very poor family.
At midnight,
the wife of the landlord told him,
The husband had to go out to find his wife.
After the baby was born,
his wife said,
Your house is in the east.
It's raining again tonight.
Please give this boy a name,
Dong Lai Vu.
When he heard the name Dong Lai Vu,
he was shocked
and remembered the God's words.
He paid the man
Dong Lai Vu Nam Sua.
The next morning,
he took eight gold coins
and gave them to the landlord.
But the landlord refused
and said he didn't dare to accept anything.
The landlord told him,
After my wife was born,
to find a place to hide the baby,
he went behind the house,
climbed up the corner of the garden
and got a jar of gold.
So he didn't want to accept anything else.
The man told him
the story of his old god
and decided
to give the other family
eight gold coins.
There was no other way.
The landlord accepted
and made eight cakes.
Then he put eight gold coins in it
and gave it to the other man
to take away.
The man left the other family.
On the way,
he met a river trader
carrying a heavy bag.
He asked the river trader
if he wanted to buy the cakes.
The river trader answered,
I sell everything.
So the river trader
bought eight cakes
containing eight gold coins.
The river trader
was selling on the street,
when he came to the house of the family
who had just given birth.
The people in the house saw him selling the cakes
and immediately bought the other eight cakes.
When he looked closely,
he found out
that it was the eight cakes
that his family had made.
It seems that this is God's will.
So the family
took the gold from the eight cakes
and put it in the jar
in which the gold coins had been poured.
Then they discovered
that the sign on the eight gold coins
was the same as the other gold coins in the jar.
The high moral of the ancient people,
whether they were poor or rich,
they believed in the existence of the Buddha.
They were very sincere.
They understood that everything they did
was seen by the Buddha.
So they kept their moral values,
they did not covet anything.
They believed that everything
was well-organized and fair.
Whatever is yours,
it will be yours.
If it is not yours,
even if you beg,
it will not be as you wish.
In life,
you should never beg.
If everything is yours,
it will eventually come back to you.
Without love,
you still have friends.
Without selfish friends,
you still have a family.
Without a family,
you still have your own life.
Fate,
or destiny,
they all keep
something beautiful
and a little pity.
In life,
whatever is yours,
it will be yours forever.
And whatever is not yours,
in the end,
it will not be yours.
Everything is up to fate.
Whatever has passed,
let it pass.
We should also be calm,
and respect everything we have right now.
Only in this way can we live naturally
and with dignity.
If we try to keep it,
we will only live in despair
and our souls will be burdened.
Second,
when people are in pain,
they do not know how to respect themselves.
Many people,
because there are things that do not go as they wish,
they destroy themselves.
They even give up their precious life
in order to escape the pain.
It is really stupid.
Life is precious.
Every second of this short life
is also very precious.
How to live
so that every second
has value
for this whole life?
Do not let unexpected things
make you
suffer in the pain of retirement.
It is a waste of time,
a waste of life.
Let's listen to the following story.
In front of the temple every day,
there are many people who come to worship the Buddha.
The air is full of smoke.
On the tree in front of the temple,
there is a lotus leaf.
Every day, it is filled with smoke
and prayers.
The lotus leaf has a Buddha nature.
After thousands of years of practice,
the lotus leaf has become pure.
The Buddha stopped and asked the lotus leaf,
I met you,
it was fate.
I asked you a question,
see if the person who has practiced for a thousand years
is really pure.
Is it possible?
The lotus leaf met the Buddha very happily
and quickly agreed.
The Buddha asked,
What is the most precious thing in the world?
The lotus leaf looked and answered,
The most precious thing in the world
is what cannot be
and what has been lost.
The Buddha nodded and left.
Another thousand years passed.
The lotus leaf continued to practice on the lotus leaf
in front of the temple.
The Buddha's nature was stronger.
One day, the Buddha came to the temple and asked the lotus leaf,
Do you remember my question a thousand years ago?
Now you understand it better.
The lotus leaf said,
I still feel that the most precious thing in the world
is what cannot be and what has been lost.
The Buddha said,
Keep thinking,
I will find you again.
Another thousand years passed.
One day, a strong wind blew
a poisonous lotus seed on the lotus leaf.
The lotus leaf looked at the lotus seed
and saw it shining all the time.
It was so beautiful.
The lotus leaf liked it.
Every day, looking at the lotus seed,
the lotus leaf was happy.
It was the happiest day
in the past three thousand years.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew
the lotus seed again.
The lotus leaf felt lost,
cold, lonely, and painful.
At that time, the Buddha came and asked,
Have you thought about it a thousand years ago?
What is the most precious thing in the world?
The lotus leaf thought to the Buddha,
The most precious thing in the world
is what cannot be and what has been lost.
The Buddha said,
Well, if you have realized that,
I will give you a chance to live in the human world.
And so, Nhat was born into a noble family
and became the Prime Minister.
His parents named him Chau Nhi.
In the end of the month, Chau Nhi was 16 years old
and became a beautiful and graceful girl.
On that day, the King decided to hold a wedding
in the garden of Nguyen.
Many beautiful people came to the wedding,
including Chau Nhi and Princess Truong Phong.
Chau Nhi was very talented in singing and dancing.
Many talents made all the girls in the party satisfied.
But Chau Nhi did not stop worrying and was not jealous.
Because she knew that Chau Nhi was a fate
that the Buddha had given to her.
After a few days, Chau Nhi accompanied her to the temple of the Buddha.
At that time, Cam Loc took her to the temple.
After the Buddha's ceremony,
the two models sat down to talk.
Chau Nhi and Cam Loc came to the temple to talk.
Chau Nhi was very happy.
Finally, she could stay with her lover.
But Cam Loc seemed to be very surprised.
Chau Nhi told Cam Loc,
I still remember the incident of 16 years ago
of Nhat at the temple of the Buddha.
Cam Loc was shocked and asked,
Chau Nhi is a beautiful girl.
Everyone admires her.
So your image is a bit too much.
Chau Nhi said,
I will go with my mother.
Chau Nhi went home.
I think the Buddha has arranged this relationship.
Why don't you let me remember the old story?
Cam Loc, why don't you have any feelings for me?
A few days later,
the Buddha gave the wish to Cam Loc
to be in love with Princess Truong Phong.
Chau Nhi was in love with the crown prince, Chi Thu.
The love was like a wave in the sky.
She did not understand why
the object was so cruel to her.
Chau Nhi left the meal,
lying dry, closing her eyes, thinking of the pain.
A few days later,
her soul was about to escape from the body.
The crown prince, Chi Thu, knew the news.
He hurried to the bed and told her.
That day, among the girls,
in the middle of the party,
I just met you and fell in love with you.
I begged the Buddha
to allow me to marry you.
If you die,
what do I live for?
She cut the thread and committed suicide.
At that moment,
the Buddha appeared.
The Buddha said to Chau Nhi's soul,
Nhat, the one who thought
that Cam Loc's body
was brought by someone else,
was the wind that Truong Phong brought.
Then the wind took it away.
Cam Loc belonged to Princess Truong Phong.
He was just a piece of music
added to her life.
And the crown prince, Chi Thu,
was a small tree in front of Quan Yin Temple.
He had been watching you for 3,000 years,
loved you for 3,000 years,
but you never came to see him.
Nhat, I come to ask you,
in this world,
what is the most precious thing?
Nhat heard the truth,
and said to the Buddha,
in this world,
the most precious thing is not
what you can't have and lost,
but the happiness that is now.
After saying that,
the Buddha left.
Chau Nhi's soul returned to her body,
opened her eyes,
and saw the crown prince, Chi Thu,
who was going to commit suicide,
hurriedly took the sword.
The person concluded,
when you are displeased,
don't be too sad,
because being sad will weaken your heart.
When your heart is weak,
you will be discouraged.
When you can't get up,
it means you don't respect your life.
In life,
if you want to achieve happiness,
you must know how to respect yourself.
Because the moment we look down on ourselves,
it is also the moment
we open the door for the pain to come.
The third story.
People often find it hard
because they are harsh,
harsh to others.
There was a monk
in a lotus pot on the mountain.
One evening,
when he was going back,
he saw a monk
trying to find his lotus pot,
but he couldn't find anything.
Next to him was a shirt
that the monk was wearing
and he stood outside
waiting for the monk to come out
because he was afraid
to alarm the monk.
When the monk came out,
he met the monk.
While the monk was in a hurry,
the monk immediately said,
My friend,
don't go far away
to visit me on the mountain.
I don't have the heart
to let you go back empty-handed.
At night,
he took off his shirt
and went back.
The next day,
he took his shirt
and put it on the monk's body.
The monk was embarrassed
and ran straight down the mountain
without looking back.
The monk looked at the monk
and said,
How pitiful!
I want to give you a lotus pot
to light your way down the mountain.
A few days later,
the monk opened his eyes
and saw the light.
He saw the shirt
that the monk had put on
the monk's body
and put it in front of the gate.
The monk happily said,
Finally,
I have given him
the lotus pot.
There is another similar story.
In the temple of the monk
there was a monk
who was very greedy.
He did not want to leave
the peaceful and quiet
of the temple.
In the evening,
the monk often went to the wall
behind the temple
and put a chair
to climb over the wall
to the outside of the temple.
After the monk knew this,
he did not tell anyone.
One day,
the monk climbed over the wall
and ran away.
The monk followed him
and brought a chair
to the other side
and sat there
waiting for the monk to return.
At night,
the monk returned.
He did not know
that the chair had been moved
so he climbed over the wall
and put his feet
on the chair
and put it in the temple.
When the monk put his feet
on the chair,
he felt that the chair
was strange and soft.
He looked down
and saw that he was
standing on the monk's shoulder.
Immediately,
the monk flew down
and said nothing.
The monk helped the monk
to stand up and said
at night,
be careful,
it's cold,
go to your room and rest.
When the monk returned,
the monk
was worried
and did not sleep at night.
He was afraid
that the monk would punish him
in front of everyone.
However,
the day passed
and the monk did not mention
or tell anyone.
The young monk felt
very sad
and did not dare
to go out
and decided to study.
In the end,
he became a famous monk.
If you were a monk,
how would you deal
with such a thing?
I think in the first story,
normal people
would shout loudly
or shout loudly
In the second story,
for normal people,
the monk would
speak in front of everyone
and then punish
the monk in his own way.
If so,
what would the result be?
I think this could happen.
In the first story,
the monk would
beat the injured
or kill the monk.
Or maybe the monk
would beat the injured monk
and the monk would
avenge the monk
in the next day.
In the second story,
after the monk punished
the monk in front of everyone,
he felt ashamed
and became a normal person
in the end.
He could give up his life.
These two monks
did not look like
normal people like us
but they used their
great wisdom and wisdom
to change a word
to a new meaning.
Humans are not gods
so of course there are mistakes.
For those who are against it,
we should have a great attitude
of tolerance, silence
and more than shouting
This is the best way of education.
Tolerance is a good moral quality.
Tolerance is forgiving
The Monk Thich Nhat Hanh
when he was alive
used to share the pain
and the role of pain
in our life.
I would like to reiterate
to give you a deeper view
of the suffering in life.
Suffering is a normal thing
but there are many ways to suffer.
Suffering is a part of life.
It is important
whether we know how to suffer or not.
If we know how to suffer,
we will suffer less
and we can use our suffering
to create happiness
just like mud and lotus.
If we know how to use mud,
we can plant
beautiful lotus flowers.
Therefore,
those who do not know how to suffer,
they suffer a lot.
They are immersed in their pain.
Meanwhile,
those who know how to suffer
will suffer less.
We can use the pain of suffering
to create happiness.
Everyone is suffering,
even the mud,
even the monk.
But those who collect like us
will know how to suffer.
Therefore,
we do not complain.
Suffering helps us understand
and feel more.
Because suffering
also has many benefits like mud.
Mud is not useless.
It is very beneficial
because we can plant
lotus flowers from mud.
Therefore,
if you are suffering,
you should ask yourself
what benefits
you can get from suffering.
These knowledges
can make us feel better
and less suffering.
Therefore,
practice is to bring
more understanding and compassion.
Once understanding and compassion
are present,
we will suffer less.
And then,
we can help those around us
to suffer less.
If we know how to live
in a cool, light, happy and happy way,
if we know how to smile
and rejoice in difficult times,
we can help
all adults.
This is something you need to learn.
If suffering
completely disappears,
happiness will not exist.
It is like mud.
If we find a way
to get rid of mud
from this world,
lotus flowers will never appear again.
Suffering and pain
are the same.
Anyway,
we need suffering.
That is why
we come here
to learn how to embrace
and deal with our suffering,
learn how to reduce suffering
and learn how to
make use of suffering
to create
happy flowers.
