VALENCIA CF 0 - 0 SEVILLA FC | RESUMEN LALIGA EA SPORTS | J25 | 2023-2024

Opportunity could be on for Valencia and it's skied from the edge of the area by Fran Pérez. Around the Alicante region. There's a chance from distance, sent through the traffic. Sergi Canos again getting involved. He has favour, he's got a throw rather than a corner, that's what he was protesting. Into the box, it's a good move here for Valencia, takes a deflection on the way out maybe. Sergi Canos again. Cross incoming from Gaillard, comes to the back post, it's nearly turned across the line. Nyland manages to scramble it away. That is the closest we've come to a goal so far and it might lead to a break. Canos to Gaillard. Gaillard plays in, whips one to the back post, too high for Fran Pérez. Volkia goes down, off a push in the back from Romero and nothing is given by the referee. It's said to square up to Gaillard. It's headed up by Ramos, he'll try and win the second header. There's the follow-up. Nyland saves from Sergi Canos. Swinging from Pepe Lu, headed to the back post, come up for Gaillard. Gaillard delivers it back in softly. Header there, wide of the mark. Ugo Toro trying to open the scoring just three minutes after the restart. From Ramos, Jaramchuk gets in front of him, the angle has been narrowed by Nyland and the goalkeeper makes a save. It could maybe have been... Pele leaves that for Gaillard, it's over to the back post, too close to Nyland, he punches out. There's Peter Federico, through the traffic and centimetres wide. Peter Federico going for glory. He managed to score a goal for Valencia at the end of last season against Celta Vigo. It's a mix, but they collect. He's also looking for the cross, sends it in first time, there's the header down, it goes wide. No goals in this one. The Lions' share of the chances were for Los Che, but it ends. Valencia nil, Sevilla nil.
