It was expensive, I'll tell you that.
How much did 16 scoops set you back in New York?
I'm sure it was about 300 and somewhat quid, you know.
Oh my goodness.
Jack, how are you getting on?
Tonight I've actually got a DJ lesson.
You know what I mean?
Jack, you've achieved a lot in your footballing career.
What keeps you going? What keeps you striving for more?
And what do you want to accomplish?
Well, obviously, you know, since I've been in the kitchen,
I've always just loved football.
It's more difficult now than it was, you know,
when I was a child playing, you know, playing for Man City,
you know, and England on the biggest stage every week.
The way you can make, you know, people around you happy
by playing well, you know, family members and stuff like that.
So I think that's what keeps me going.
Yeah, man, nice.
Panya from Twitter wants to know,
who's your biggest inspiration?
You know, family mean the world to me
and, you know, my two little sisters and my brothers
and my mum and my dad are so important to me.
You know, they've all been there, you know,
just a feeling that I can, well, that I give myself,
you know, when I make them proud is something that,
you know, I'll never forget and it's scary sometimes
because you think, when I stop playing football,
like, how am I going to, you know what I mean?
How am I going to make them happy or make them proud of me?
Mate, I'm sure you'll always make them proud.
Xiao from Twitter wants to know,
who's the funniest player in the Man City dressing room?
You can say yourself.
The funniest player?
Yeah, we've got a few.
Do you know what?
We have the best dressing room, the best banter
and everyone just absolutely hammers each other
and probably Bernardo because I just,
he just makes me laugh, man.
I can imagine him being quite funny.
He's so cheeky, man, and just, like,
some of the stuff he comes out with,
he's the best guy, man.
I love him.
Jack, I know you're into music,
but if you had to listen to one artist on repeat forever,
who would it be?
We've got a few, to be fair.
Ed Sheeran or Robbie Williams,
Al and John.
I obviously love house music,
but to listen to that forever, you know,
it would be, after a bit here,
I'd be like, nah, come on.
I just love all types of music
and I love them three.
How much attention do you pay to statistics
and all that sort of stuff
and how does it influence your performances?
I think sometimes people just, nowadays especially,
they care about them too much.
I don't know.
For me, for example,
I had a great second half of last season,
but I think I only scored, like,
maybe four goals, I think,
in that second half of the season
and got about five assists.
I created, like, the most chances, I think,
anyone's created or an English player
since, like, 2008 in the Champions League last year.
But I only got, like, one assist, I think, or two.
But, like, so what do you make from that?
I know you're a big Home Alone fan,
but what other movies do you love
and who do you think would play you
in a film about your life?
Leonardo DiCaprio.
You were in there quick there.
Yeah, I've been asked this loads,
so, yeah, him.
I'd love him to play me.
Home Alone still one of your favourite films?
I'd only watch it at Christmas time.
I watched Home Alone at the cinema, actually,
the other week.
Got me the popcorn and that.
Rumour has it that when you went to New York,
you did the 16 scoops of ice cream,
which they do in Home Alone, right?
Was it all the same flavour,
or did you have 16 different flavours?
I can't actually remember.
I don't know what all the flavours were.
It was expensive, I'll tell you that.
How much did 16 scoops set you back in New York?
I'm sure it was about 300 and some odd quid, you know.
Oh, my goodness.
Or maybe 400.
Citizen from Twitter wants to know,
who was your bromance in the team before Erling joined?
I actually love everyone in the team
and I get on so well with them.
There's probably a few in there
that you probably wouldn't expect me to get on well with.
Not not get on well with,
but not be close with people like Bernardo, for example,
Ruben.
Yeah, we have a great team.
So, before Erling, I don't know.
I'm not really sure.
Yeah, just everyone, yeah.
And what are your plans for this evening?
What are you up to tonight?
Tonight, I've actually got a DJ lesson.
Nice. How's it going?
Yeah, I'm enjoying it.
It's difficult because I'm not actually a good learner.
Like, I can't learn.
I don't have the concentration to do it for that long.
So, I'm trying really hard at the moment.
I want to do other stuff
because I don't really watch a lot of films and series and stuff.
So, I wanted to start doing something else that I'm enjoying.
So, that's where the DJ comes from.
So, I just need to hang in there and try and get better.
Yeah, man. Nice one.
Thank you for the interview.
No worries. Thank you, bro.
Take care. Thank you.
