We are at Taiyuan Museum today and the Shanxi Bronzeware Museum.
This is a very unique design building looks like the packaging box of the instant noodles.
This building really stands out for its beautiful and very special design.
It's a beautiful museum with a huge collection of Chinese bronzeware over 2,500 years old.
Bronzeware originally in Chinese called Jijin which means lucky gold auspicious gold
because it's bronze so originally it's all golden color like this one.
Today we only see them in green because it's oxidized.
A base for a Chinese drum.
Horse chariot fittings from 2,500 years ago. This is the chart. It's very complicated.
Can't believe they put all this on horse chariot. 2,500 years ago they did all this stuff
even with a bell.
Horse bell. Weapons mostly in form of swords. This is all bronze sword.
The head of the arrow was bronzeware.
Pretty. Pretty setting.
This section bronzeware was used as the food utensils.
This particular shape is called Ding mostly used to cook meat.
Name of this utensil is Fu. We don't know what it's used for
but it's beautiful. It's almost like a fancy Chinese architecture.
Definitely it's a plate almost like a bowl with a lid on top but a very special design.
Never seen anything like this before. It almost looks like a building a pavilion building.
The thing on the right used to pour water so the plate on the left used to catch water so
this shows us how Chinese washed their hands 2,500 years ago. How could you know that?
Because this painting it's clear someone is pouring water for him and someone else is
catching water for him. A lot of times there are inscriptions on the bronzeware.
This is very important for research. Popular patterns beast patterns on the bronzeware.
