Alisha and Remi Travel to Seoul: Korean Street Food, Night Markets, and More!!

Good morning guys, welcome back to the vlog. It is currently like ni- 9.30? 9.35. We ended up, we were able to change our flights. Last night we were supposed to leave at 2am and we moved it to 2pm today. So low-key excited about that, gotta sleep more, but today we're leaving Tokyo and I'm actually really sad because I love it here so much but I'm really excited to go to Korea because I've never been and I'm just so excited to go somewhere where I haven't been before. So we're headed there next but our flight's in a few hours so we're gonna go run upstairs to get some breakfast and head on over to the airport. So traveling to Korea for the first time, let's go! Oh my god, I've been obsessed with these hash browns every day. Have you had them yet? I did. You didn't like them? I didn't like it but I'm gonna try it again today. Okay. This is the cutest aircraft I've ever been on. It's so Remy-coded with the blue, it's so cute. The Care Bear makes me go, what?! Like, so unnecessary, but like, yes, I love it. Guys, we made it to the hotel. It honestly was like weirdly a long travel day, only because our flight was delayed. I think close to two hours, like it definitely wasn't two hours, but I would say at least, at least an hour and a half we just like sat on the plane. And then it was like a two and a half hour flight anyway, and then customs and all that kind of stuff. Oh my god. It's so good. That's so good! Literally, I've just had the hotel refreshments and I'm already like, wow! This is amazing! I feel like I'm geeking! I'm so excited! Almond berry, berry tea. It smells like cranberry juice. Cran-apple, to be exact. It's a white cran-splash. Yes! Mmm, that's good. Long travel day! Wasn't too, I mean, obviously, wow, can't talk. I said long travel day compared to like us traveling here originally, felt so short. It felt longer today, it did. It did, but we made it to the hotel, our view is so amazing, and I'm so excited to explore Korea! Rem's parents are coming up right now, they're staying at the same hotel. And I'm just so excited to be the adoptive child of the week! Of the week! It's weird, it's like 7, I think it's like 7.30 or 8, so it's like... I'm wiped. I'm down for anything. I forgot I had the seaweed until I saw you eating it. And I was like, oh my god, I've eaten 90% of this without the seaweed. So, it worked out, but it's so good. I can't wait for Korean barbecue. Also, don't put it in like a hot stone pot, so it gets crispy. I feel like you'll love that. Yeah, it's great. Korean air, amazing. So good! But, here's the room. We each have a bed. I don't know why I'm being so annoying and so geeky, but I'm genuinely so excited to be in a new place I've never been. Yesterday, we got in. Obviously, that was the last footage you saw. We met up with Rumi's parents, then we went to bed. I slept pretty good. I slept deep, that's for sure. I feel like when I woke up, I was coming out of a trance. I'm definitely trying to hurry and get ready because it's our first day and we're going to be exploring. I'm really excited. There's really nothing on my want list to do because I want to do everything, but it's so nice being here with Rumi's parents because, obviously, they're from here and they visit a lot, and I'm just happy to be here. Is there anything other than food, or is there a specific food thing you've seen on TikTok or something that you want to do, or anything like that, Rumi? If your parents weren't here, where would we go? Honestly, I've done zero research. I just want to eat street food, and that's it. Literally, on the taxi ride over to the hotel, we were both watching TikToks of things to do in Seoul. Things to do. I want to just wander, and I want to just go into random places. I'm curious. Are there shops with K-pop things? I assume so. I know. I feel like in Japan, I didn't really get any cutesy things. I'd love to find little hair clips or just cutesy things. Skincare. Oh my god. That's the best I've ever had in my life. And we're at a food court. We haven't even made it to the market. We haven't made it to Alicia before we came. She's like, we're going to go to the Korean market. And I was like, every market there is a Korean market. I just spit, sorry. Every market is the Korean market. Every market here. We have to get fruit too because your mom kept saying how good that was. Ooh, okay. Update. Very fun and successful. shopping trip. We're now headed back to our hotel. Where are we going tonight?
