REAL BETIS 1 - 1 GETAFE CF | RESUMEN LALIGA EA SPORTS | J23 | 2023-2024

Who tonight has made two changes in defence. Two coming in midfield and one coming up front. The likes of Jordi Martín, Diego Rico coming in with Yelu Santiago in midfield. The only one who is available as the ball is now playing in behind for Isco. He's got space here, gets around Evitzoria, plays it back! It's just kept off the line and the second effort almost drops for Altimira. There's a factor here for the side from the capital. So Mayoral rested this evening as now Mason Greenwood finds space inside the box. He goes down and that leads to an early penalty. Even Marroca for Betis. It's Mason Greenwood and he rolls it in. Rui Silva sent the wrong way and Greenwood did what he had to do there. And a shot there for a penalty for Betis. The referee says no. Johnny Cardoso is the man who's gone down. Look at the screen. He's made up his mind and the decision is to put them back on level terms. And he does it superbly. Sends Evitzoria the wrong way. And just like that from two spot kicks. It's 1-1 and Fakir. It's Navil Fakir! Just wide of the goal. Had the right pace. But as we said earlier in the first half, he has only had one training session since joining Betis. As the set piece comes in! And Pezzilla heads it in but the offside flag is raised. What a booking! Loud ovation as a consequence of that. Collided with the advertising board and I think pulls up as well with Kramp. He's asked for the change. Not because of the FAR as well. Make no mistake about that. It's Greenwood once more who cuts onto his right then onto his left. Now inside the box. Goes down in the penalty area. And another chance as well. Falls for Jordi Martín. Ball here. Drops nicely! For the shot from Alderete. Just gets a touch in it but it's dealt with again. The ball may drop here now for a chance in the box for Mayoral! But it's offside for Getafe. He has been denied. But he does find Abde here. Who gets round Carmona. Abde's in the box now. Tries to play it back. It drops for Nabil Fekir! And it's deflected out for... That's opportunity to bring this game to a close at the Benito Villamarín. Jose Bordalas and Manuel Pellegrini shake hands at the end of the game. Isco had to go off with injury. He will be hoping it's not too serious.
