(Laliga 2023/2024): Highlights GETAFE - REAL SOCIEDAD

In the sights in particular of Real Sociedad, making sure they are in European competition again next season. Getafe now nine points adrift of Bordelas who has reached 250 games in charge of Getafe. What a great Javi Galán was brought in as a corner is played in, travels a long way from Zakarian before I think John Pacheco got the final touch. Miquel Merino is down again he suffered early on. Lunoman finds Zakarian on to Becker, nice pass into his stride. Geraldo Becker's cross is a good one to the far post and there's the opener by the flying header from Baron Echea. A swift move from Real Sociedad. Every pass delivered with precision down to the last one. The cross from Becker to surprise more Reds than anyone else. Here's Diego Rico sending in a decent looking cross and the header is well saved by Ramiro. Oscar has it cleared off the line by Ramiro. A double save brilliant from the Real Sociedad keeper. Another cross now and La Tazza this time scores. If at first you don't succeed try and try again. Getafe did try again and at the third time of asking La Tazza with the powerful header gets the equaliser. Genet with the header poor though too. Zakarian lovely touch straight at Soria. There was one last chance and it was a really good one. Well but I can't imagine he'll get close to taking this one. It's Oscar Rodriguez who fires it off the post. Deflection off the line incredible sequence. Getafe exactly as they were for Oscar's strike in the first half for appealing that it went over the line. We will see my initial reaction was that it didn't that it hit the post. Ball falls loose for Greenwood and that's a nice flip looking for Mata. Still might fall for him. Mata into the area not sure if he was on side but it doesn't matter for Mata. Athletic club certainly don't want Lareal getting closer to them. There's Kubo did he keep it in he cuts it back for Sadiq who shoots over the bar on the turn. I'm not convinced Take Kubo kept that in. It was a lightning burst from him operating down the left. Nicely on from El Estondo and a good turn here from Beignat and a powerful shot as well that's tipped over the top by David Soria further away from the chasing pack in sixth place. Getafe just keep things moving in the middle of the table although they are now realistically out of their hopes for a
