Right, so I've just made it to Barcelona Airport from England.
Welcome back to Danny's Point. Today's Danny's Point is a guide to Barcelona.
It's not a guide to all the sickest spots in Barcelona, but we will go to a few.
It's not a guide to all my hardest tricks in Barcelona, but I will do a few.
But it is a beginner's guide to Barcelona to get you started so you can then explore from this.
Yeah, so I'm at the airport. Arrow bus, let's find it, let's get on it and let's go into town and get this started.
And remember, this is a skate guide to Barcelona, so remember your skates.
Right, so I've made it to the Arrow bus and I'm now on my way to the first stop which is going to be Espanya.
Why Espanya? Because in Espanya you've got Montjuic and that has one of the best views of the whole entire city.
And I've been out of the city for a few days, it's one of the first places that I want to go.
All right, so this is MACFA, just behind me we've got the Museum of Contemporary Arts.
It's also one of the most famous skateboard spots in the whole of the world.
And my tip about this place is check it out in the evening, it really comes alive.
Right, so next spot, Parallel, let's go.
Right, so this is spot number two, this is Parallel.
It's one of the only places in the city where you can legally graffiti
and it's one of the best places to learn to slide on your wheels because of the surface of the floor.
And it's always a good place to have a good skate.
Awesome, so on to spot number three, we're off to the W Hotel next.
One of the most exclusive hotels in the whole of Barcelona
and a really, really nice place to catch some sun and have a good skate.
And I'm going to take one of my favourite routes there as well.
It's got a nice little jump onto the, yeah, onto the court.
Right.
Alright guys, so we're near Barcelona now.
I've just seen the giant wooden lobster and that's a good landmark to remind me
that Bodeby's, the salmon shop, Instagram link just here,
is just round the corner right next to the post office.
You can't miss it.
Food's great, cheap, lovely, keep you going all day.
Wicked.
Alright, so I've brought you guys to the W Hotel now.
That's the W Hotel behind me.
The reason why I brought you here, it's one of my favourite places to come and relax.
It's a little bit out of the way of the city.
So if you've got emails or phone calls you need to do, it's a good place to do them.
You've also got a wonderful view of the sea.
And there's so much sun here.
You just want to come and relax and chill and enjoy.
Alright, so I'm taking you guys now down to Forum.
We've just finished off at W.
This is one of my favourite stretches of beach to skate along.
It's where I do all my training, all my 10Ks and stuff like that.
And look, an absolutely glorious beach as well.
But do be careful, it is a nudist beach.
So like I was saying, this route's one of my favourite routes to skate.
Why? Because the floor is so smooth.
And one thing to remember as well, if you come here by yourself skating
and you're not with anyone else to skate, come to this spot.
You will see other rollerbladers to chat to, to skate with and to have fun with.
Trust me.
Right, so we've just arrived at Forum.
Forum is my favourite place to skate in Barcelona.
Not only has it got lovely floors, it's next to the sea,
but it's also got these crazy sea walls that are like giant ramps.
Check them out.
Right, so we've just finished off here at Forum.
I'm pretty tired.
I'm going to grab some water, some food, rest my feet for a little bit
and then we're going to move on to the Ruta at Roex.
So we'll see you there.
Alright, so we're here at the Ruta.
As you can see, there's probably a couple of hundred people on skates.
Mums, dads, sons, daughters, everyone gets involved in this.
It's definitely one of the things that you have to experience once in your life.
Come down to the Ruta. Check it out.
Let's do it.
Guys, I hope you enjoyed my beginner's guide to Barcelona.
A full link to all the places we went to and the routes we took
will be linked in the description below.
And remember, it's just a beginner's guide, so please do explore from this.
Guys, I hope you enjoyed it and enjoy Barcelona. Peace out.
