With @BOOSTCAMPlive in Marmaris and some days to #explore the #muğla region in @GoTurkiye, we had a proper mixed terrain #adventure.
#racing , exploring, meeting loads of cool riders and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of the Turkish people.
Equipped with 2 @ridley_bikes Kanzo Fast's, an all new Ridley Grifn and some nifty @TailfinCycling racks, we went off the grid and soaked up all the vibes.
Shoutout to our Basque amigo's of @Etxeondocycling for the swag!

We traveled to Turkey for some next level gravel adventures.
Oh the wind in the back is really nice and sailing despite the 23% gradient.
Living a life on a yard, eating fresh kebab.
But let's start at the beginning. How did we end up here?
Last year in October, Luke and Ruben went to Cappadocia in Turkey to shoot a photo
and video campaign for Bruce Camp and for Go Turkey.
At the airport in Barcelona and it feels quite shady because this is my hand luggage.
I just know my mind is from like the all-inclusive resorts
but that's the same point of view I had on Cyprus.
Yeah I think it's just going to be cool to meet Luke and Jeffrey again.
When Luke returned from his adventure in Cappadocia,
he was super excited about all the people he met.
So Jeffrey and I couldn't wait to meet all the guys and girls that Luke told us about.
Hey nice to meet you. Jeffrey.
Hello, how are you?
Hi guys. Cheers.
Awesome boys and good luck this week.
How do you say cheers in Turkish?
Good morning.
As you can see I'm running and if you're asking Luke why would you be running?
I found out that I forgot to pack my internal seat clamp.
An absolutely essential item when you want to ride your bike.
After feeling miserable for about two or three good minutes,
I started trying to find some solutions.
Eventually leading me to Velo Maris and try to create a solution
even by 3D printing a new internal seat clamp to get the bike ready on event day.
So today is the first real day of Bruce Camp Marmaris.
But the program only starts at like 11 o'clock.
So we just had three courses of breakfast.
Now we're going to do a little dip in the sea to wake up.
And then it's time for five, six days of pleasure.
So Jeffrey is here to cover it all with video and we are here to have fun.
So we're creating a lot of videos, photography,
socials and that kind of stuff for the event and for Go Turkey.
It's hard work but it's also...
But we also got our friend Luke here.
So we had this super vibrant time at Bruce Camp Marmaris
and met a lot of super nice people.
But now it's time for the real deal, the bikepack.
It's Sunday the, I think, 4th of April and Bruce Camp has come to an end.
So it was some pretty beautiful days.
But now it's time to pack our bikes again and our bags because we go bikepacking.
We made an overnighter trip.
So just one night, two days of riding, quite some gravel.
Getting the gear ready, getting the bike ready.
Just had our final all-inclusive breakfast so that was really nice.
And now it's time for real adventure.
So how about this start line vibes?
Start line vibes are ready.
The organization did everything they can to prepare us for a two-day gravel bikepack.
Super excited.
Ready to rumble 120 kilometers in two days time.
So it's really going to be an enjoyment bikepacking.
We're going to explore some routes.
We've booked a very cheap accommodation on Airbnb.
But it's all about the scenery and about enjoying the different places.
Thank you very much.
You're so lovely here in Turkey.
What's the plan, Jof?
Ride our bikes.
Yeah.
Enjoy the coastline.
Enjoy life.
Man of many words.
Thanks for taking the 100 euros for us.
So we are real famous in Turkey.
Everyone wants to take pictures of us.
We were leaving 30 minutes ago.
Yeah, we were supposed to leave 30 minutes ago but yeah.
Such a great environment.
It's all about the fans, right?
How do you feel?
Motivated.
Really looking forward to the trip.
Just enjoying the miles and enjoying the scenery.
Amazing, man.
So as you can see in my sunglasses, we're in full explorer mode.
We've escaped the race mode from boost camp and heading into the mountains.
You got a pump over there so I think we don't get sick.
The water comes straight to the mountain.
You got a generator over there so I think he just pumps it up.
So for us the scenery here might look pretty cool and epic and all.
But it's actually so that not too long ago there was a huge natural fire here.
And it burned just almost the whole region.
And it was an absolute disaster for local municipalities.
And for people and everyone had to flee.
Because all these hills that we're seeing here, they used to be green.
So everywhere that we look used to be green.
Can you imagine that?
The longest climb so far, 11 kilometers.
And we were going to the Marmaris National Park.
I think it's about coffee time, right?
Yeah, hungry?
And I think coffee time was already three hours ago.
Lunch it is.
Let's go to where we're going actually.
So we're all about gravel adventure.
But silently deep in his DNA, Noel's always been a racer.
Look at this, 13% incline.
What is the guy doing?
Tour of Flanders, mate.
Holy weekend.
Hello, something to drink?
Yes, coffee.
Sir, can I ask you something?
Can you make a vegetable omelette?
Omelette, come on up.
Yeah, okay.
Look at that.
Trees, boats, the harbor, full holiday experience.
Wow.
That's pad number three.
Powerful look.
I'm with my familiar fashion.
And the lads, they're wearing their Xtendo Windfest.
And Jeffrey is going all the way because he's wearing his party boots.
With my dad's shoes.
He got some big plans tonight.
Seems closed, this opening for us.
Thank you so much.
So, that is all new haircut.
Nothing really changed, but I just needed some contouring.
Big pump, you have is really good advice.
Go, go, go.
It's quarter to seven.
Bob Moll is placing some extra repairments on his tire after it slid.
Jeff and I are going to meet up with the sunrise.
It's going to be right over there.
And we have a beautiful road along the coast to chase it.
And we're not running late, but we are going to go.
So, let's get on the bike and head over there.
Holy shit, it was a massive session.
18% uphill.
Hope to find some coffee in the next village.
The wind in the back is really nice.
I'm sailing despite the 23% gradient.
This is one of the most beautiful things of what we do, what we get to do.
Well, I'm climbing through gravel because I'm filming and going off-road.
What I wanted to say was the feeling to be alive.
Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo.
Catchy Eddie surviving again.
Good climbs, man.
Sunny terrace.
I had two things when I came to Turkey.
One, I wanted to get a real Turkish cut.
And two, I wanted a Derham donut.
We're finished.
We can go home.
How do you know it has to go uphill?
Life of a bikepacker.
Can you see what time it is?
Kebab o'clock.
Oh, it smells so nice.
Living a life on a yacht, eating fresh kebab.
Oh, wow.
You, brother.
All right.
Tough.
We're almost there.
So, I think it's a nice way to finish off Turkey.
So, we just turned away from the route because we think we may have found an improvement
of the route that we made.
So, it's quite straight to the hotel on Komoot.
But you never know, of course.
So, it's a real adventure.
Off the grid, just following the direction of the sun.
There should be roads somewhere.
The last day of a whole month of being on the bike.
We got the last descent right here.
There is the hotel.
What a month.
So, we had the biggest river crossing of today.
Up until this moment, we still don't know to which channel.
