Good morning world! Welcome back to the channel.
The day has arrived. We are here and can you believe it? The sun is shining.
Are you ready to hit the road right around the world?
Yes.
Let's go. We're gonna go to the right first.
Here we go.
Don't drop it.
Okay, ready?
Yeah.
Goodbye Race Cafe. Goodbye London.
This is the first time that we'll have ridden this bike with absolutely everything on it.
Our little house is on the bike.
Everything is on this bike, even a ukulele.
Yes.
Finally getting out of London. Finally getting onto some bigger roads.
And that's nice because I was getting absolutely boiling hot sitting there in the traffic.
Looks like we've still got three of us riding together as well.
But soon enough we'll be just us and the road on the way.
Around the world.
Made it to the end of the first day but we actually just dropped it on the road
coming up to this hostel here.
So that is fall number five for the bike.
It was not really a big one, was it?
Not a big one. Not a big one.
But we're here. We've made it to the end of the first day. It's amazing.
What are we having for the first night in the hostel, Lavi?
Mashed potatoes!
So first scary turn on a hill.
So we have to reverse back and then park the bike facing downwards.
Let's see how that goes.
And I've got to be sort of just...
But I should be rolling backwards already. I don't really understand.
Yeah, I got the clutch in and the brake off.
Okay, should I just push you a little bit?
No, I don't... No, no, there's something wrong. It's stuck.
Okay.
Is it because the engine's not on?
No, it's stuck.
Straight again?
No, it's stuck. Hold on.
Okay, it's off now.
Okay.
Okay, very careful. Yeah, very slow and easy.
Oh, it's a big hill.
Very nice and easy. Very slow.
Yep, you can go back.
Yep, you can go still a little bit more.
Yeah, still a little bit more.
Okay, that's about it.
Look at this angle.
This is massive.
Okay.
Okay, I'm gonna just try and drive and park.
Oh, that's hard.
Okay, let's load up.
I'm just having some tortilla from Tesco's.
We're here in a town.
We're here in a town called Marlborough.
I'll just show you around.
We're just on the green.
It's actually called the green. It says on the sign.
Just driving now in through the town of Marlborough.
Yes.
That's a beautiful example of a market town here in Wiltshire.
It's lovely.
Wow. Stonehenge up ahead on the hill.
Still standing.
So what do you know about Stonehenge then?
Stonehenge was built by giants.
It was actually a small play area for the children.
The giant children.
Ready for the rain.
First time riding in the rain since we got Bumblebee.
It looks like it's going to be rain probably for the rest of the ride.
51 miles to go.
So I guess we'll just have to just let it hit us.
Push through.
Sunshine is over.
Yeah, the summer has not begun yet.
Has not begun.
They might even be closed.
They are closed so hopefully we'll be all right.
Yeah.
We are home.
It was a long ride.
Today it's very exciting because we will take the ferry from Dover to Calais.
So we will reach France this evening.
Yeah, goodbye England.
Goodbye England.
Bonjour!
First off the boat baby.
We've just noticed here in France we've just passed a couple of bikers
and they don't do the old English nod thing.
At first I thought they were like waving at us like this
but actually okay what I found now is they do like a sort of two fingers out to the bottom
kind of thing a bit like this.
And that's basically it.
That's what they do here and we have to get used to that.
Because you know I was the first couple of people I was doing the nod
and they were doing the arm and it was all messed up.
When the next one comes up I can't wait to practice that.
Oh it's going to be seamless.
Seamless.
Oh wait wait.
Oh chancellise.
I just wanted to come down that road so that I could sing this song.
Oh my god.
These guys are crazy.
There it is.
Arc de Triomphe.
Riding around the roundabout.
Nice.
Amazing.
Look at that.
I've never been to Paris before.
And now here we are.
Riding through the very centre.
Going around the roundabout.
Now I just need to find the right exit because there are so many exits here.
I think it is.
Not this one.
This one.
Yep that's it.
Wow wasn't that a crazy roundabout hey?
Oh my god.
There it is.
The Eiffel Tower.
300 meters tall.
This is crazy.
Wow.
Nice.
Look at that.
Beautiful.
Oh my god.
In some countries they have vending machines for snacks.
In France they have vending machines for baguettes.
Let's go get some lunch.
Oh look at that up there.
Wow magical.
Very pretty.
That looks so pretty.
Doesn't it just look awesome here?
Wow.
Yeah this is more like it.
Look at this river.
Oh my god.
That's a big river.
It's raining.
We're just gonna wait here a minute and see if it stops.
Put our rain jackets on.
I have an important announcement to make as well.
And that is that we have reached 1000 miles.
So just 29 times more than we just did.
I would say quite easy hey?
Yep 29 times more and we're around the world.
Yes.
There we go.
So the Lascaux caves or Gort de Lascaux in French are a series of prehistoric caves
with more than 600 wall paintings from something like 17 000 years ago.
Look how sunny it is right now.
Oh my god.
It's like a different world to what we had this morning and definitely to what we had yesterday.
From the cold rain to sunburn in the same day the summer is back baby.
It's a little bit off-road for us isn't it?
But I'm just about managing and as long as there's no giant rocks like the last time
then I think we'll be okay.
So yeah the owners just told us that they're walking their dogs
and they're going to come down to where we're going to go now.
Oh that is quite a big rock.
Oh my god.
Yeah nice and slow.
It's just about all right.
Oh I can see some sort of tower here yes.
Ah okay here we go.
We found paradise.
Okay ready?
Hit the road.
Okay ready?
Hit the road.
It's okay it's okay okay.
It's okay it's okay.
I just do a little wheel spin.
I think I've had wheel spin on the back end so you might have to jump off for this bit.
Okay yeah in the mud yeah?
I was just in the mud.
Okay okay.
Okay I think you can come back on.
Looks like we're coming into the centre of Toulouse
and they call Toulouse the pink city
and you can see it's because of all of the pink bricks they've got everywhere
in contrast to a lot of the other cities we've been through
that were very much sandstone, very grey and sandy coloured.
Look at the colour of the city.
It's beautiful here.
It's really unique in France.
We are getting closer to the mountains.
The door of the Pyrenees.
Yeah that's what it said on the sign just back there.
It said the door to the Pyrenees.
La Porte de Pyrenees.
It looks lovely here.
Yeah this is beautiful.
We're beautiful.
Beautiful.
You have almost mounted 360 degrees around you.
Yeah the world is beautiful.
Welcome to Spain.
España.
Country number three.
Welcome to Aragon, Huesca.
Wow how lovely.
Yeah I love it.
It's a beautiful area really.
Yeah it's very beautiful and very wild.
Look at this.
Wow.
There we go.
Yeah that's incredible.
Some olive trees, the valley, apparently an abandoned hermitage.
Like probably like a farming hut or something like this.
I don't know but it looks totally abandoned.
It looks beautiful.
It's a great spot for camping.
This behind is the Parque Natural Bardenas Reales.
This natural park is actually a UNESCO recognized biosphere reserve.
So I'm not entirely sure what that means but I think that means that it has a very unique
set of wildlife here.
Set of flora and fauna.
It's really like a wild west landscape.
It's like almost like a mini monument valley.
Yes.
Wow.
Oh my god.
This is like a otherworldly landscape.
Look at that.
Wow.
Cool.
So we just asked the ladies that were hanging out over there by the front of the monastery
and they showed us around and we used like google translate and we asked them oh is it okay
if we pitch our tent just here in the monastery gardens just in front of the car park
and they said oh sin problema sin problema it's okay you know.
So that is awesome.
We found our camp for the night.
We just hit 2000 miles.
There's a deer family.
One, two, three.
Oh amazing.
There are even more hiding there.
Over there in the grass.
The camp is set up here.
Bumblebee.
Home.
Everything's ready.
Lavi's just gonna be starting on the dinner.
Oh okay.
We're going over.
It's okay.
Okay.
I think it's because here look I couldn't put my foot down.
That was the problem.
So it's because I put my foot in the dip.
Nice.
Yeah look at this beautiful valley.
Wow.
Yeah it's incredible.
Wow.
Yeah no houses.
Nothing here except mountains and forest.
That's very very cool.
You know this is what I think we're all about.
Trying to just get out in the beautiful landscapes.
And have a good day's ride.
With as little falling off as possible.
Yeah we're working on it.
This is an adventure bike.
This bike is ready to go on dirt roads.
It's ready to go off-road.
We just have to be ready to go with it.
Quite a big one.
Great wait wait wait.
Oh.
Sorry.
Ah what did I do wrong there?
Didn't keep going hey?
We have a little bit of a tear in our foot pedal bracket from this last fall.
Time to hit the road.
Let's go to Madrid.
Oh went the wrong way.
6.2 miles from the centre of Madrid.
And we are heading in.
Wow look at this.
Plaza de Toros.
Built in 1929 apparently.
It's so nice designed.
Wow.
A nice nice machine.
Beautiful.
Suzuki.
Nice.
I have a BMW car.
No motorbike.
But I love motorbike you know.
Next time I'm gonna do it with you guys to North Africa.
Yeah.
We've set up our camp here in the forest.
Oh yes camping again.
I love it.
Nice.
Where are you headed pretty lady?
We are heading down into the Garafi desert area.
It looks absolutely epic landscape from up here.
We don't know if this is a good idea.
But this is the entrance into the area that we're looking to camp.
So I think Levi's jumped off.
And I think I'm gonna give it a go.
Okay nice and straight.
Nice and smooth.
There we go.
That's how you do it.
Yes.
I mean here.
Oh yep.
Yeah that looks.
It looks quite nice no?
Yeah it looks like a nice flat bed yeah.
Okay I just have a little bit of off-road maneuvering to do before we get there.
So I'm gonna attempt to do it right now.
Have a look where we managed to set up camp for tonight.
Here's the camp.
Bike.
And look at this view.
Wow.
Look at that in front.
Nice views yes.
Oh my god.
A little snack break.
With a view like that.
That can't give you any restaurant in the world.
And it cost us only 160 and one euro.
We're leaving the Gorafe area.
And we're heading to try and find a wild camping spot in the Tabernas Desert.
From one desert to the next.
Let's go.
What a view.
Wow.
Okay let's um.
Let's check it out.
Stop and check it out shall we?
Yeah.
Some place to camp hey.
That's nice hey.
Look at that.
It's awesome.
Good morning bumblebee.
Sunrise in the desert.
The ocean.
Yes.
I love the ocean.
Nice.
That is nice.
Wow.
Yeah the ocean looks awesome.
Look here's even a little beach.
Yeah playa.
Nice.
Here you can see.
This massive producing area of fruit, vegetables, produce.
And look it's just a powerhouse of of production here.
Yeah I mean it's so big you can see it from space.
Like the whole area.
It's like we looked it up it's about 12 500 farms here.
Oh my god yes.
And it's all in in these like uh white tents.
And it's all sort of indoor farming right.
And it's just an absolute monster of an area.
Ready for the road.
The Vstrom team.
Got a nice breakfast here.
Got some cheese and tomato.
Cheese and ham.
Wow look ahead.
Oh my god.
We are getting higher and higher.
No way look at that.
Oh my god.
It feels like that we can ride up to the peak here.
I think we're really getting close to the top hey.
Back in the snowy mountains all the way in South Spain.
Unbelievable.
Look at that there's snow right there.
Look at that.
Oh my god we could actually ride our bike on snow if we went up there.
Look at that.
Are you in Antarctica?
No.
Nice.
Oh oh oh oh oh my god.
Oh my god.
Oh he made it out.
Nothing like a nice view and a windy road.
Spain is a motorcycle paradise.
Wow look at them.
Nice like a mountain goats.
Nice.
Chris the legend without a diagram.
Without without a picture without a diagram.
Managed to fit us a new one.
So this is the new part here that we fixed.
So it doesn't have a big fracture in it anymore.
And the foot pedal actually sticks out straight now.
Which is nice-ish straight-ish.
A cutie little doggy Kanya.
Hello Kanya.
Hello.
It's so beautiful here in Granada and in Maracena where we are now.
The fact that you've always got this vista behind you.
And the good thing is if you're really really hot.
You have just to make your way up the mountain to cool down.
Look at this water color.
Wow.
I'm walking without shoes.
It's so nice inside the water here.
So refreshing.
Be safe here and happy and everything.
Love you.
Bye.
Okay let's hit the road.
Morocco.
We are prepared and we are coming.
Maybe go to these guys and ask them there.
Normally pitching a tent is not allowed.
But we just asked some guys around here and they say no worry for one night.
Just pitch up a tent.
Leave tomorrow.
It's not a big deal.
It's not a big problem.
So we're just going to do this.
Do you need help?
Hold it with this foot.
Swing it over.
Ready to go around the world?
Good.
Yeah because he's always like.
Wow look at that.
We can see Morocco so clearly from here.
Wow.
This is all the Moroccan coast all the way along.
Magica.
Just literally a stone's throw from the Spanish side.
That's insane.
I can't believe how close they are.
Okay let's go.
Okay.
Here?
Okay.
Very good.
Thank you so much.
My country is very good.
Morocco is good.
So we do need the passport.
I just get our passport.
Yeah.
Welcome to Tangier.
