Ladies and gentlemen, there is a special moment,
although it is short,
but it can show all the secrets and secrets of a person's life.
That is the moment of communion.
And it may be the time when the whole life of a saint burns out for the last time.
It can also be a wake-up call for those who are still alive.
Thanks to the Lord,
there is a saying,
the dead are left behind,
the dead are left behind.
Therefore, human beings, especially the great saints who rule the world,
all retain their names when they are gone.
And today, Nguyen Ngoc, I invite you to listen to the story
about the moments of communion of Vietnamese saints,
such as Lý Nhân Tông, the longest-ruling king in Vietnamese history,
or Hương Đạo Đại Vương, Tô Hiến Thành,
with the saints who have gone down in history.
Please listen.
Lý Nhân Tông
Lý Nhân Tông was 56 years old.
He was 62 years old.
He was the longest-ruling king in Vietnam's history.
He lived with his surname, Nhân.
Lý Nhân Tông was actually a gentleman,
a kind-hearted man who ruled the world.
This was clearly shown through his life before his death.
Please listen to the following two parts.
Until his death,
he made the people wear the clothes of a beggar,
crying early and late at night,
eating and drinking less,
and giving up the world.
He made our sins heavier.
The world will tell us who we are.
We have to take care of our fate,
our childhood.
We have to tie the knot on the throne.
We are always afraid.
For 56 years,
Lý Nhân Tông ruled the world.
He ruled the people.
He was wise and kind-hearted.
He loved the people like his own children.
Thanks to him,
the country flourished.
Despite many battles,
the country remained strong and prosperous.
Therefore,
Lý Nhân Tông did not have to
build a temple,
nor did he have to build a huge tomb.
Lý Nhân Tông had a great heart
and a lifetime of hard work.
His hard work
has made him
an integral part
of the history of the people
for thousands of years.
He came with empty hands,
so he had to leave
empty-handed
so that he could
enter the void
of the vast universe.
Trần Hưng Đạo
August, 1950
Hưng Đạo Đại Vương Trần Quốc Tuấn
was 70 years old.
He was an excellent politician,
a talented military man,
and a great cultural figure
of the people.
His age and career
are always associated with books.
Before he died,
he left behind
golden words
that were inscribed
by the book
as follows.
Before,
Quốc Tuấn was sick.
The king, Trần Nhân Tông,
came to his house
to visit him.
The king asked him
that if something bad happened,
that is,
if Trần Quốc Tuấn died,
and the army returned to Sâm Lấn,
how could he contest the election?
Quốc Tuấn replied,
The day before,
Trịu Võ was Trịu Đà,
the ruler of the country.
The king of Hán
sent his army to fight.
Now, the people have destroyed
all the flowers in the field,
the army has retreated.
They used the rear troops
to destroy Châu Khâm,
Châu Liêm, and Châu Trường Sa.
It was a period
when the Dinh and Lê dynasties
were in their heyday.
At that time, the south was strong,
the north was weak.
The people did not have the heart
to disperse.
It was also a period
when Lý built a business,
the people of Sâm Lấn.
At that time,
Lý Thường Kiệt
beat Châu Khâm, Châu Liêm,
many fans beat
Mai Lĩnh.
He was powerful.
Just now, Tuà Đô,
Ôm Á Nhì,
four sides beat Bao Vầy.
At that time,
Tuà Đô,
Bùa Tùi Đồng Lòng,
Hòa Thuận,
the whole country was exhausted,
so Giặc had to give up.
That was the will of heaven.
Giặc's army entered the battlefield.
We fought in the rear troops.
Bringing the rear troops
to fight the battlefield
is a common practice in France.
But you have to be careful.
If Giặc's army is as strong
as the wind and fire,
he can win.
If Giặc's army is as strong
as a Vietnamese,
not as good as Vietnamese,
then you have to use your mind
to see the situation
as the player.
It depends on the right response.
How to attract the troops
like father and son,
then you can win.
You have to be patient
and the people's efforts to make a deep foundation, that is the best, nothing more.
The king replied to the statement of the King of Tuan is right.
The speech
People often praise the majestic military of Nha Tran
as a result of the brilliant leadership and the diligence of the General and the Nha Tran army.
But in fact, to get that result, there are many more important factors
that people do not know or deliberately do not mention.
It is the protection of the Buddha
for the countries to have many people who are true to the Dharma,
free from the illusion of delusion.
It is the ruler from top to bottom,
taking himself as a mirror,
conducting brilliant politics,
so the people's hearts are boundless.
It is the great general holding the army like the king,
always keeping the sincerity,
when the general and the king
make the top and the bottom,
with all their might,
and destroy the weak.
Tran Hung Dao is protected by the people,
not because of his military,
but because of his great heart,
morality all his life,
and loyalty to the country and the people,
never fade away,
even at the end of his life.
Tran Minh Tong
As the longest-ruling ruler of Tran,
Tran Minh Tong is famous for his wisdom
and the ability to govern the country.
Even when the land is far away,
his wisdom is still as bright as ever,
and leaves many interesting lines.
In the book of the Great Vietnamese Secretary-General,
Article 7, Article 20-AB and Article 21-A,
it is written that
when Tran Minh Tong was not well,
he passed the disease to his son, Tran Dung Tong,
in an effort to find a way to cure Tran Minh Tong.
Now, the Empress Dowager
has given birth to a variety of plants
to pray for Tran Minh Tong's recovery.
Tran Minh Tong said,
I can't get a pig or a goat.
When Tran Minh Tong was seriously ill,
he called the doctors Chau Canh,
Vuong Dinh, Pham The Thuong, and Coi Mach.
Chau Canh said,
It's Mach who's sick.
Minh Tong came to read a poem
for Chau Canh.
Coi Mach said,
Chau Canh should take the medicine.
If you keep telling sad stories,
it will only make things worse.
At that time, because Chau Canh often went to the same palace,
he still used different life sentences,
words of consolation
to comfort Tran Dung Tong.
So Tran Minh Tong hated it,
and lent him a poem to comfort him.
When the medicine increased,
Minh Tong said,
How many sufferings in life!
If I can get out of this suffering,
I will meet another suffering tomorrow.
He said he didn't want to take the medicine.
When he was seriously ill,
he called Nguyen Van Vong
to burn the poem.
Van Vong was still angry,
so Minh Tong said,
What a pity!
I can't keep it.
Keep what?
The princes stood by
and waited to hear the last words.
Minh Tong told them,
Children, just look at what people used to do.
Follow what is good,
and ignore what is bad.
What do you need to listen to me?
The words, the word Minh,
include the Japanese and the Vietnamese alphabet,
the two brightest lights in the world,
and are always seen as the source of life of mankind.
It is also the source of creativity,
inspiration, research,
and creative writing,
as well as the study of scientists and mathematicians.
Perhaps that is why
the 40-year life of Tran Minh Tong
has left many lessons for later generations.
When he was about to die,
his words and thoughts
became more and more profound
and very similar
to those of a wise man.
It was also the time when he rose up
one last time
to shed the light of wisdom for the next life.
Tô Hiến Thành
Tô Hiến Thành died in June,
in the year 1179,
many years after he built the fort
to defend his country.
This was a great loss
for the stability of Sa Tắc
when King Lý Cao Tông,
who was only 8 years old,
was not in power.
The Empress always
wanted to replace him
with her son Lòng Sường,
the daughter of King Lý Cao Tông.
The Empress Dowager,
the mother of King Lý Cao Tông,
was very worried
about Tô Hiến Thành's illness,
so she came to visit him
to write a long book.
The book is called
Đại Việt Sử Lược
Quyền 3, Tờ 10A.
Previously,
when Tô Hiến Thành was in the hospital,
he only visited the official
Vũ Thán Đường
who stayed by his side
and took care of him.
The Empress Dowager
was very worried
about Tô Hiến Thành's illness,
so she came to visit him
to write a long book.
When Tô Hiến Thành was in the hospital,
the Empress Dowager
asked Tô Hiến Thành
if there was anyone
who could replace him.
Tô Hiến Thành replied
that the only one
who could replace him
was Tô Hiến Thành.
Tô Hiến Thành replied
that the only one
who could replace him
was Tô Hiến Thành.
If the Empress Dowager
asked the one who raised him,
who else could it be?
The Empress Dowager
praised Tô Hiến Thành
but did not praise him.
She took Đỗ An Thuận
and wrote Đỗ An Di.
Maybe Đỗ An Di
and Đỗ An Thuận
had similar Chinese characters
and were siblings
of the Empress Dowager.
It seemed to be the main reason.
I would like to add
that Tô Hiến Thành lost
her husband for 7 days
and ate vegetarian food for 3 days
to show her special respect.
Her words
were the expression
of a person's life.
Some people only care for their children.
Some people worry about their future.
Some people even become
confused and panic
and hold great power
to fight against the super-court
in front of the people.
People often neglect
to take care of their patients
which affects their work.
Some people like Tô Hiến Thành
are still selfless
and devoted to the country.
Maybe the Empress Dowager
took care of him
because of his selflessness.
Mạc Ngọc Liễn
was originally named Nguyễn Ngọc Liễn
because he was the son
of Tây Quốc Cộng,
Nguyễn Kính,
the emperor of Mạc.
Because Nguyễn Kính's father
had a great deal to do with Mạc,
his brother Ngọc Liễn
and his three uncles
were all crowned kings.
Mạc Ngọc Liễn
was also the wife of Mạc,
the husband of the princess
Mạc Thị Ngọc Lâm.
He was not a prominent figure
but he left us
a lot of memories.
In July 1594,
Mạc Ngọc Liễn was seriously ill.
When he was about to die,
he left a letter
to the emperor, Mạc Kính Cung,
as follows.
Today, the Mạc family is no more.
They are reunited.
That is fate.
We are innocent people
but we have to suffer.
Who will be grateful?
We should move to another country
and wait for the right time
to come back
so that we can do it again.
We can't use force against force.
When two tigers fight each other,
there must be a wounded one
who is of no use to the work.
If the army comes here,
we should avoid it
instead of fighting with them.
The most important thing
is to protect ourselves.
We should not invite the Ming
into our country
so that our people
will suffer.
He died on July 2,
the lunar calendar year.
After his death,
his son, Phỏ Mã Đông Sơn Hầu
ran to Long Châu
following Mạc Kính Cung
to fight against the Lê Trịnh regime.
Mạc Kính Cung
and his subordinates
followed his orders
to take advantage of the Ming's support
to settle in the highlands
but of course
they were defeated by the Lê family.
His words were
I pity my son
when he is far away from home
and when he is busy
and does not follow the rules.
But all the kings of Mạc
and Mạc Ngọc Liễn
when they are busy
even though they always fight against the Lê family
they never ask for help
from the outside world.
Mạc Ngọc Liễn's words
are not much
but his heart
is always with his country.
Although Mạc lived in Thăng Long
for more than 60 years
with a traditional life
but after hundreds of years
he still can't forget
the guilt of being considered a traitor.
Khoan was right
but when it comes to asking for help
from the outside world
the Lê family
defeated Mạc family
a few times
but Nguyễn family
was still considered a traitor
and our love for our country
was wrong
that we did not realize.
