What's up guys welcome back to the channel if you're new around here my name is Kyle
and I'm Hayley and in today's video we're doing a little bit of a woodland Q&A.
A good 90% of all the videos we've ever filmed on this channel spanning nearly three years on
YouTube I've always been on blue sky days we've become a bit of a fair weather channel.
This weekend however the forecast was inescapable rain so we decided why not switch things up
instead of trying to avoid it like typical Brits let's get out into it embrace the rain
and see if we can make a video.
We recently hit 7 000 subscribers on this channel which has blown our tiny little minds
so if you are one of the new people around here welcome we hope that you like what you see but
we thought it might be nice to help some of the new guys at least get to know us a little bit
better we're going to do a cheeky Q&A in the woods in the rain. We haven't done a Q&A for
probably the best part of a year so we asked you guys for your submitted questions on Instagram
and our YouTube community page and you guys delivered so we're going to try and answer as
many of them as we can today and then stick around towards the end of the video because
we're going to be doing something that in nearly three years on YouTube we've never done before.
Right so it looks like we've got a bit of a break in the rain
so let's get into the Q&A and answer your guys questions.
So question one it comes from Gavin Rolf thanks for your question Gav.
He asks where's the favorite place that you've ever filmed on the channel?
Three, two, one. Iceland! Easily Iceland we went there for Christmas didn't we? Yeah we had an
absolute blast it was such an incredible place the landscape was just breathtaking. Yeah so if
you're a new subscriber and you want to check out something that's not in the Peak District
actually quite far north the furthest north we've ever been. Yeah we did a three-part series so
feel free to check that out.
Right so the next question is from our good friend Tom Toppix.
His question is what YouTube channels do you watch apart from his? Well Mr Toppix thank you
for your question we do of course watch Tom Toppix we plug Tom Toppix quite a lot on this channel.
We have watched YouTube for probably the better part of eight years when we first moved into our
first apartment we didn't have a TV license and in fact to this day we haven't got a TV license.
We don't watch telly. We've never needed one we're YouTube fanatics aren't we? But some big ones for
us we've always watched other travel couples you'd think that we watch like specific hiking channels
but we sort of don't do we? No we're really into like international travel. We're like Cara and
Nate. They're probably the biggest ones. They do a lot of challenges too which is quite inspiring
to watch. We also like Endless Adventure, we like Fly in the Nest, we like Travel Beans,
we like Kingin' It, we like Eamon and Beck. Yeah I think they're like the power channels of YouTube.
So lots and lots of other travel couples that's what we watch.
Okay next question comes from travel2souls and they ask what is your dream hike to do
outside of the UK? And for me this is dead easy. I've always wanted to do the Everest Base Camp
Trek just to see Everest with my own two eyes at some point in my lifetime. So you might see
that on this channel at some point. What about you Fern Lady? So I think mine is coincidentally
called the Dream Trail and it starts in Munich and ends in Venice and it covers about I think
it's 340 miles so I think to see the Alps go through all the hills would be beautiful.
There you go answers your question. Right so our next question is from Curated Derbyshire
and they say what is your favourite day out in Derbyshire? And for us if you're not going to
Chatsworth Farm Shop Cafe for breakfast what are you doing with your life? That is one bougie
breakfast and followed by a little stroll around the farm shop. It's not really a full day out but
it's something that we like to treat to ourselves. And the only reason that we go into the farm shop
is because this one is addicted to the orange juice. You get to actually put oranges in the
machine and crush them up and stuff. If you've not been you should definitely go check it out.
Okay so next question comes from Andy Cortes who asks how much product does Kyle use to get his
hair looking fabulous? Well mate today I don't know if you've noticed but it's a little bit wet
it's looking a little bit limp but traditionally I don't put anything in it. I mean look at the
state of that. Unless of course we've got a posh train to catch and then I do put a little bit of
something in it just to keep it upright. Okay Andy T asks us Bakewell Tart or Bakewell Pudding?
I've just got wet by the tree. Okay take two. Andy T asks us Bakewell Tart or Bakewell Pudding?
So Northern Transport Hub didn't really ask us a question. They stated do more train stuff and to
be honest yes. If anyone out there wants to hook us up with some tickets to the Orient Express
we'll make you a killer video. There she goes off a massive rock absolutely huge careful
risky business. I hurt my leg the other day okay walking back from work so
tell everyone at home about that. No it's embarrassing. Okay a bit ambitious.
Okay next question comes from King Banzai and he asks are you going to do another long walk
like the limestone way again? Now for me this is a dead easy answer. It's essentially no
not any time soon anyway. If I had it my way I think would be doing the West Highland way
but this one's knee is not up to scratch so yeah it's a long story that we won't go into
but if you've not seen our limestone way walk we dressed as Pete's from Chips.
All for charity. For charity we did 30 miles across the Peak District go and check that out
if you've not seen it yet. Well it's not rained as much as the forecast predicted
which I guess is only a good thing but apparently the rain is going to come in a little heavier
within the next couple of hours or so. So I think we're going to make our way out of the forest
we're going to walk and talk we're still going to answer some of your guys questions but we're
going to take you to a bit of a secret spot and set up a bit of a shelter I think just to stay
out of the rain as best we can so come on we're gonna go do that now. There you guys are you're
in a bit of a bush. Speaking of bushes Jennifer Bush asks will we see any Disney trips from you
guys anytime soon? Well we have been to Florida we have been to Paris but what is on top of our
bucket list would be Japan. Yep never been to Japan we'd like to just go to Japan anyway and
maybe Disney might be involved it's not really somewhere that we typically would film but
never say never. So our next question is from the Rambling Paws and they've said
where's somewhere that you've not been in the UK that's at the top of your bucket list?
For me in particular that would be the Prince Albert's Pyramid it's all the way up in Scotland
on the Balmoral Estate it's just this huge pyramid that kind of looks a little bit out of place.
So if we're lucky enough we might get up there and film it this year maybe autumn time maybe
autumn time is looking really busy for us on the channel but watch this. Exciting!
Okay so admittedly we've teleported a little bit a couple of miles a good couple of miles away from
where we were just filming but it's because we wanted to come and show you a little secret spot
spot that we're calling the hollow it's quite a shaded little area anyway we've got big cliff
faces sort of up around us should be a nice little spot to set up camp because the rain
has properly come in now hasn't it? Yeah it's just a torrential rain a bit of a rainstorm
I think. If you've been in the UK for the last week it's just been pouring down with rain. So
for the first time on this channel in nearly three years we're kind of going to do a wild camp
almost kind of let's do that
Right so whilst we continue to unpack we're going to answer questions from both our mums.
I'll answer the question from my own mum which is would we consider going on the new open top bus
that's in the Peak District and I think we would. Yeah I think so it looks like a load of fun so
it's probably really good for people who can't drive and you still want to get out and about
it's another option that will take you from place to place for sightseeing in the Peak District
so providing the weather isn't like this yeah maybe we won't. My mum asked what do we do
on rainy days and apparently we do this now.
What have we got for tea missus? So we have got the chef's special spicy sausage pasta
sliced pork sausage in a pasta shell and spicy tomato sauce. Well whilst dinner is
quite healthily steaming away I'm gonna answer another one of your guys questions. Daniel's
Journeys has sent in a question asking us which was our least favourite video to film
and it does happen this might be a bit surprising to some of you but for me
it was actually our most recent video which was the train video that we filmed probably a good
first half of that I didn't really enjoy reason being even though we've been doing this for what
nearly three years nearly three years get me out somewhere like this in the middle of nowhere
and I'll happily chat to you guys I love talking to the camera I'll shout if I need to but the
train was a very closed in setting we're in public we're surrounded by loads of other people
and that's just not where I'm most comfortable so I didn't really enjoy
at least the first half of that video I got into it a little bit didn't I
but I definitely prefer the great outdoors. What about you? So my least favourite was the
I think it was the first time we tried to film the Druids temple and York and it was just such
hot day and we got so like hot and bothered and kind of got a bit you know grumbly in the end so
we I think the weather being so hot just played a massive part in that so lessons learned.
Is our dinner ready? Dinner's ready let's go and see how our flameless dinner has gone
I'm quite excited about this beautiful food in a packet the grand reveal
all right let's tuck in what we're saying it's all right how is it grim
it tastes like you know hot dogs that come in beans or hot
okay here we go fine cuisine what are we saying
hmm um hang on we've been spoiled with Italy aren't we
sosta what was it sorry pasta and sausage this is supposed sosta
yeah um two out of ten I think what we're saying is
it's high flying youtuber life has left us feeling a little bit bougie
there's no chats with breakfast is it no right guys so I think that the heavy rain's coming in
quite bad so it's fairly bad yeah we're gonna pack down the the mini tent it was never a tent
it's more like a shelter into we haven't bought a tent this wasn't real wild camping we've only
been here for an hour or so so we're gonna completely pack everything down pack everything
back into our bags take our trash home obviously and I think we'll catch up with you guys back in
the studio
right you lot we are back in our tiny little studio in the roof warm and dry
we ended up spending eight hours out in the middle of nowhere filming this Q&A in the rain
I don't know how we didn't get pneumonia to be honest we're still healthy um if you've not given
us a thumbs up for this video yet please do give us a big thumbs up the biggest one you've ever
given us because yeah it was a bit of a slog and uh well we ran out of daylight to be completely
honest with you um we just want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you watching
this video who submitted your questions you blew us away with these we did do a Q&A about a year
or so ago you probably put double if not triple the amount of questions into this one so we tried
to fit as many as we could into the eight hours that we ended up filming obviously we couldn't
fit you all in so we just want to say thank you to everyone who did we're sorry if we didn't get
to your question we noticed a couple of you asked double questions cheeky but some of the questions
also doubled up a little bit didn't they yeah so I think some of them were quite the same as on our
last Q&A so um if you want to check that out we've uploaded that last year and there's a few interesting
questions on there and a few a bit more personal things on there so get to know us even more yeah go
and give that a check um but what did you guys think to the wild camping section because we do
have a couple plans in the year later in the year maybe in a month or so um and it might be either
end of the country or UK if not both ends of the UK we might be wild camping so if you enjoyed that
little segment at the end we might be doing some more so if you enjoyed this video please give us
a big thumbs up and if you like the look of our now warm and dry faces do consider joining the
gang hit that subscribe button just down there that way it should guarantee that you see our
in the next video so until then we'll see you in the next one bye
